À propos de cet hébergement

Nous avons acheté ce chalet pour notre plaisir en famille sur Pine Creek et que vous voulez en profiter aussi comme une location de vacances. Notre chalet est très confortable pour jusqu'à 6 personnes et est meublé. Où vous pouvez préparer vos repas préférés dans notre cuisine entièrement équipée qui comprend un réfrigérateur, une cuisinière, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière, un four grille-pain, des ustensiles, de la vaisselle, des casseroles et des poêles pour cuisiner. Nous fournissons également une buanderie équipée d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche-linge afin que vous n'ayez pas à vous soucier de manquer de vêtements. Au large de la chambre principale et du salon, une porte mène à une terrasse couverte avec une table et 4 chaises pour prendre un café tôt le matin. Aussi dans la cour arrière, nous avons un barbecue au charbon de bois et une table de pique-nique soulevée. Pour votre plaisir après la tombée de la nuit, un foyer pour vous asseoir et regarder le beau ciel nocturne. TV, WI-FI et téléphone sont disponibles pour vous d'utiliser avec toutes les informations de contact par téléphone. Il y a aussi un accès à Pine Creek à distance de marche du cottage, une route nationale qui mène à la crique avec une place pour installer votre canoë ou kayak et descendre à Pine Creek.

Nice, central spot near the Grand Canyon of PA

My family had 4 adults and 2 children staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and felt very roomy. Their kitchen had all utensils/items you could possibly need. We appreciated the detailed information book with instructions for our stay as well as recommendations for things to do and nearby shops/restaurants. It was a good central location to a lot of the activities we had planned. You definitely can hear the road noise from the bedrooms at night. However, that was expected and wasn't too bothersome. Overall, a really nice place and fit our needs perfectly.

Anniversary weekend

The house was cozy, good location, plenty of room, very nice back yard, we really enjoy our stay. The only negative thing i can say is it is close to the road and you can hear it. But the speed limit though there is 35 so it wasn't bad.

This cottage was as described and MORE. It had everything needed. Bring food and clothes and you are set for a wonderful stay. Owner communicated during a storm to check on us. I highly recommend this cottage. Better than 5 stars for sure.

Birthday Trip

We were taking a motorcycle trip to celebrate one of our groups 80th birthday. We were so happy with the property. The house is adorable and very well kept. And the views!!! Simply gorgeous!! We were able to do day trips to visit many nearby places ending each day in this beautiful home. thank you for helping to make the trip a huge success!!

Kayak tradition

My children and now grandchildren come every year in May to kayak. This is our second stay at this property. Love the changes to the backyard! We also appreciate the ability to bring the dog. Will definitely recommend!

Nicely remodeled, lots of room

Decent place with a good bit of room. Just note that it is right up against Rte 6 so you’ll have traffic right outside the front windows. However this was expected as I knew where it was based on the description so not a complaint, just a note for other folks that may not do the same diligence.

Wonderful cottage with everything you need!

We stayed here to visit Wellsboro and see the PA Grand Canyon. This cottage was close to both areas and other state parks. We want to come back again and explore more of this beautiful area. I would definitely stay here again. It had everything you needed, which made packing so easy. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean and bigger than the pictures show online. The fire pit was an extra plus. The cottage is along the road, but it didn’t bother us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage it was very cute and perfect for us to attend our sons wedding at Creekside Barn. The outside area was great with a firepit and deck looking over the creek. We were unable to utilize because the weather did not cooperate. Had a dog lead out back which was very useful. Would highly recommend staying there The Sullivans

Clean, Cute Cottage

When I stay anywhere my #1 concern is always cleanliness. This cottage was very clean and spacious. The back yard is beautiful and the deck overlooking the creek was our favorite spot. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The property is pet friendly but they are not allowed on the furniture, which makes sense. The beds were very comfortable too. The location in regards to going to the PA Grand Canyon etc was perfect. I would stay here again without hesitation. We really enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!

Can't say enough about how nice this stay was. This area has been a home away from home for us for over 20 years, but the place we've stayed at was sold. Creek Bend Cottage was great!!! Beautiful backyard with an awesome firepit and "creek balcony," plus more. Inside was so cozy - we cook a lot, and everything we needed was there! Owner communication was great. Loved our vacation!

Nice weekend getaway

We stayed here for 3 nights as it was close to the dark skies park and many hiking and biking trails. Our dogs enjoyed sniffing around the backyard and the people enjoyed using the fire pit every night. We were very glad to have bottled water in the welcome package as we weren't accustomed to the taste of the tap water in this area. Owners were very easy to communicate with and clearly thought about how guests would use the accommodation.

Lori and I bought this cottage in August of 2020. I have always wanted to have a place on Pine Creek. I learned how to trout fish on Pine Creek as a kid. I also kayaked down through the canyon every spring for 20 years. I did that until I decided that I didn't like sleeping on the ground anymore. After I met Lori we started coming to this area together. She also fell in love with how peaceful it is.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I had been looking for a home in this area for sometime. This home was just what I was looking for, from the size of the house and property. This cottage is also far enough away from our residential home in New York and it feels like we are getting away. It takes us about an hour to get to the cottage. The access to Pine Creek just a walk away was a selling point along with how cozy it is.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We loved the back yard with the views of Pine Creek just down over the bank. The access state road to drive down to unload your raft, kayak & canoes within 1 tenth of a mile is great. The state game lands that are great for hunting all around made this a great spot for a vacation rental.
