Maison de Charme Île entourée de plantes tropicales indigènes sur plus d'un acre de la végétation naturelle intégrée dans Captiva Islands isolée et exclusive Côte d'or. Pas de la célèbre (et peu fréquentée) Côte du Golfe plage de Captiva via un accès à la plage cédé. Un quartier calme, privé et isolé pour profiter de toutes les commodités célèbres et naturelles de l'île Captiva. Tout simplement profiter de la collecte de certaines des coquilles pour laquelle Captiva est célèbre, nager dans le golfe du Mexique, le poisson pour certains poissons de jeu bien connu, prendre une randonnée le long de la belle plage privée Captiva ou aller faire du kayak, le parapente, le canotage, l'observation des oiseaux, surf ... et pour votre hors-plage de divertissement tout simplement profiter de la vie privée de ce gîte intérieur et l'extérieur avec votre propre piscine chauffée avec le bronzage corniche et un belvédère.

Great pool, house and beach

Wonderful stay with family. Great location with a short walk to a secluded beach. House was clean and perfect. Pool was amazing. Would recommend again.

Perfect house/location

This house fit our family and friends just perfect!The house was well appointed..had everything we needed. The pool was a wonderful addition. The eagles nesting above it were amazing! Margarethe was an amazing host. She answered any questions we had.

Amazing Private Beach/Pool Home

House is roomy, uncluttered, updated, comfortable, very well stocked, clean, private location, steps from the gorgeous quiet beach! We loved the huge screened lanai. The downstairs room worked well as a 3rd bedroom and a detached office by day. The pool is an amazing haven if you can tear yourself away from the beach! We are cook at home people and this kitchen was the best stocked I've ever stayed in. Host was very accessible and helpful. Amazing vacation property! Would love to return!

Secluded piece of paradise

The property was in great condition and excellently stocked! All the beds and seating areas were very comfortable and spacious. They provided beach chairs and a cart. Access to the beach was just across the street. The screened porch was a great place to watch the eagle nest and the iguanas. It was also nice to have a pool at the house. The property owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We can't wait to stay again!eat tiguanas.

Most Relaxing Vacation ever!

Captiva Cottage had everything we needed for our relaxing week. We loved the pool and even got to see the bald eagle in the nest next door! The host answered all my questions and even dropped off new batteries for the tv remote. I can't wait to go back!

Captiva Cottage

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays and anniversary there. All on the same day! It was private, peaceful, and beautiful! So close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Our host was very kind and knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. Fully recommend a stay at her property. Loved the edible landscape!

Great Place to relax

This was a wonderful vacation (unfortunately, too short). The cottage is very well maintained, clean and confortable. The room on the ground floor is very convenient. My wife and I stayed in that room and my daughters (both in College age) in the cottage in the 2nd floor. Great setup, with privacy and freedom… in summary, great place for a beach vacation… we will certainly return…

Great Beach Cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. House was in great shape and pool was fantastic! Best part was the proximity to the beach which made access to the sand a breeze. Would definitely recommend!

Captiva cottage charm

This cottage was perfect for our group of three. Its a very short walk to the beach, and when we preferred the pool, it was steps away from the cottage. An eagle's nest near the pool provided constant entertainment.

The Perfect Captiva Stay

We had an amazing time staying here for our anniversary this year. We come to Sanibel/Captiva every year and try new places to stay each time and so far, this has been our favorite. Being able to jump into the pool after a long day in the sun at the beach was refreshing and really added to the stay. We will be back!

Perfect Family Vacation!

Our two grown daughters stayed in the downstairs bedroom/bathroom/sitting room and could come and go as they wanted. We stayed upstairs, and we all ate, went to the beach and played games out on the porch. Peace and quiet! Really enjoyed the pool and the cottage.

Captivated in Captiva

Margarethe's island hideaway is an absolute gem. From it's seclusion to close proximity to the beach and amazing water to the pool with painted turtles in the pool floor and pineapple plants - dont forget the pineapple plants. This place has it all and the price is well below some of the other places you'll see for Captiva. It really does check all the boxes. I would say that if you have difficulty navigating stairs then this is probably not the place for you as the main part of the house is on the upper level and the stairs could be difficult for some. Really a wonderful stay in Captiva.

Captiva Cottage was Captivating!!!

This was by far the best house we have stayed on Captiva. We have been coming for 30 years without missing a single year. The 3 bedrooms were perfect. The pool was amazing, the Cabana by the pool was Rocking! And the beach being so close Literally across the street was just the icing on the cake! We will rent again this same home next year!!!

Perfect Getaway

We have been to Captiva many times over the years as a large group. This was our first time with myself, my wife, and our youngest daughter. The home was perfect for us and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials, plenty of pool towels, the pool was fantastic, and easy access to the local beach as well as Turners and Blind Pass. Thank you so much and we will definitely return!

Nice stay

We had a nice stay for our first return to Captiva in over 10 years. There was good communication with the owner/host. We were a group of 6–four adults and two children. My parents stayed on the bottom level. The one change I’d make if possible is to put a small fridge and coffee maker downstairs; they are older so it would’ve been nice for them to have a cup of coffee at their leisure before venturing upstairs for breakfast. It was nice being able to bring our dog and Captiva now allows dogs on a leash so that was perfect. Nice, relaxing stay prior to the craziness of Christmas.

Great Location!! Beautiful beach and lovely private pool!

The property was perfect for us. 6 adults and 2 littles under age 3. The kids loved the pool with the 1 foot shallow area to play in the water. Nice covered pool deck and lounge space. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The screened porch and grill area were perfect for at home dinners. The beach was just across the street and lovely. Very quiet and private feeling. We saw dolphins and manatees and the shelling was great fun!! We would definitely return. The host was wonderful to work with and very attentive to our needs. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here!! 😎

Fun in Captiva

This property is one of our favorites! Its proximity to the beach is the best part. The owners have updated the basement and master bath since the hurricane and it turned out great. We loved our stay, despite the loss of many of our favorite hangouts prior to Ian. The property was the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the beach. We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit, the smart TV for streaming services and the kids loved the pool. The beach cart and sunshade made a big difference in getting to and spending time on the beach. Look forward to going back!
