We enjoyed a week in the cottage for October half term.

We enjoyed a week in the cottage for October half term. The cottage was clean, well equipped and in a lovely area and our three children loved exploring the surrounding woods. I would definitely recommend and definitely re visit when we have the chance.

Lovely well equipped cottage. Perfect location for us as we were training on the KC ground at Emblehope. Good local amenities in Otterburn and a nice pub just down the road - the Redesdale Arms. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing week in Horsley Cottage.

We had an amazing week in Horsley Cottage. The scenery all around is absolutely beautiful, every bend in the road seemed to bring a wonderful panorama! The cottage was very nice indeed, well decorated, spacious, comfy and great to relax in after a long day's walking and sightseeing. Lovely woods behind for a local stroll, great hosting responsive to our queries - we will be returning to look for the elusive red squirrels!

Relaxing time

Cottage was clean and tidy every thing we needed was a bit dark surrounded by all the trees. Sofa and chairs uncomfortable beds comfee large bath.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world

We enjoyed a fantastic short break in this beautiful cottage. A great setting and comfortable, warm place to have as our temporary home. Couldn't ask for more. We loved the acres of woodland for a back garden and our dogs, similarly enjoyed their stay with lots of good exploring on your doorstep. The cottage was warm, cosy and well set up with the right amount of amenities for our needs.

One of the most characterful cottages we've ever had the pleasure of staying in.

One of the most characterful cottages we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Beautifully decorated, secluded, situated on the edge of a lovely woodland, with red squirrels in the surrounding trees. Good base for exploring Kielder, the Cheviots, and Hadrian's Wall.

Lovely cosy and spacious cottage. Walks from the doorstep. Quiet rural location but not remote. Modernised to a high standard yet still retaining its character. Lovely comfy beds. We had a great stay, would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage well presented, clean and had everything we needed for a great holiday with our 2 Golden Retrievers. Although the cottage was near to a busy A road no sound was heard inside. Lovely walk through the woods to the local pub serving good ale and food. A lively reading place to stay, would recommend highly.

A beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings.

A beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. Lots of extra touches from the owners, bottled water, home made cake and a bottle of wine. Blankets and towels for the dog. Will definitely be booking again!
