4 Days of Skiing over New Years in Breck. Worked out great for a family of 4. Plenty of space, could do 6 people; 8 would be tight. Clean, cozy 70s cabin feel. You can walk to Quiksilver chair, or ski if snow on road. Walk back at end of day is mildly up hill, but still fine 0.25 mile. Likes: walk to chair and downtown, easy parking, nice gas fireplace. Dislike: beds are super firm. Overall. Great, would stay again.
Condo was functional and everything worked except for the tv. We had plenty of towels paper towels and tp. Location was a long walk to the lift but doable. Overall we enjoyed our stay
The property was very clean and close to town and the bus . The management company was very responsive to any questions. The unit itself is a bit dated, but was more than adequate for what we needed.
We had a wonderful long weekend in this condo, and it is represented well in its listing. There is plenty of space to spread out, lots of extra blankets and pillows, and a very well stocked kitchen. It was a really cozy place to come back to after a day of skiing and be able to click on the fireplace and make dinner. The walk is doable but could be tricky with equipment for some, however the shuttle stop is literally right outside the complex. Check in and out is a breeze and the owner was super helpful with any questions I had and quick to respond. We would totally stay here again!
This was a hidden gem. We rent vacation homes at least 3 times per year and this was kind of a last minute call to go to Breckenridge. Goals were enough beds for everyone and ground floor. This one checked all of the boxes. The location is spectacular and Ashley was fantastic with communication from the original booking right through our arrival. We even made an odd request of sleds. She confirmed that they were at the condo for us.
The location allowed us to walk to Main Street every day, conveniently walked to the Quiksilver lift on Peak 9 multiple times, and hit the heated swimming pool across the street.
The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the condo is looking a little tired and is due for an update.
That being said, would I stay there again? Absolutely. Perfect location for our needs and wants and gave us a great Spring Break!
First the positive - the condo was fine and it truly is only a 7 to 10 minute walk to Quicksilver lift. The mattress in the master bed badly needs replacement but the mattresses in the second bed and the foldout were fine. HOWEVER, communication with the owner was terrible. We never did get the TV to work, something is wrong with the DirectTB/Dish box in the living room. Tried to get the owner to help us and received a call more than 24 hours after our first plea for help. It was close to checkout when the offer of help came so we ignored it. WORSE, is that the owner required a very LARGE damage deposit and did NOT report to VRBO for several weeks that there were no claims. So its now been over three weeks since we checked out and STILL NO REFUND. I like the area and the complex but I will never stay with this Owner again.
All went well except the lockbox is hard to operate esp in the dark ! Grill needs work too
Ashley is easy to get a hold of and usually there are questions which she immediately answered! Location is great ! Definitely needs an update on lockbox -we had a nice time here and it was quiet except for remodeling above us which was only during the day!!

Close to peak 9
We had a great time. The pool and hot tubs were great. Once we figured out the heating it was very cosy. Had fun playing games at the kitchen table. It's about a 10 minute walk to the peak 9 lifts.I'd stay there again.
The condo was in a fantastic location to downtown, the Quicksliver lift, and bus system. Once we arrived, we walked everywhere. The condo had most everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Ashley for your hospitality !
We thoroughly enjoyed the condo which included a well stocked kitchen with essential cooking seasonings and kitchen ware including a crock pot. We were able to walk to Peak 9 and access the QuickSilver Lift. We tipped Charter Sports and they stored our ski equipment daily to avoid carrying it back and force. Charter Sports is on the way to the Quick Silver. The Brownline bus also runs right by the condo, however, the walk was short and refreshing. The condo was very clean as the was the clubhouse. We highly recommend this location and owner which returned calls and guided us to the Quick Silver Lift.
I really enjoyed my recent stay at Ashley's condo. It's tucked away in a quiet, beautiful wooded neighborhood. There is no better feeling than opening the blinds of the big living room window in the morning to a view of snowy trees and mountains. The home itself was also very comfortable, from a warm, crackling fire to high quality linens and large, commodious interior spaces. For those not looking to stay indoors most of the time (my group included), we found that it was a quick walk to the best nightlife in town or a quick shuttle to the slopes (~5 minutes in either case). Needless to say, this condo will be my first choice next time I am visiting Breck.
Nice Location close to main street and slopes. Condo was very clean and equipped with all the basic necessities. Ashley was prompt in all the questions we had (Thanks!). Didn't face any problem at all during our stay. Highly recommended. Only drawback I could think about it that there is just one permitted parking.
Perfect location for easy walk to Main Street and shuttle to the slopes, just far enough to get a little quiet. It's an older condo but very cozy and comfortable. Layout is great for a family trip and there are ample heaters as well as a grill and fireplace, hooks for all your ski gear, access to multiple hot tubs and everything you need in the kitchen. One thing I would recommend would be to bring extra towels, paper towels and toilet paper if staying for any extended period of time. Overall, it was great - we would definitely stay again!
Spacious, cloe to town, but a bit chilly when we were there
Overall this was a very nice stay. Kitchen, dining and living room as are all one open space with many options to congregate. The heat was a bit confusing on how to use and the living areas were a bit chilly mot of the time we were there. It was in the single digits at night outside however, and factoring n this it could have been worse. The bedrooms were warm and plenty extra blankets available. The gas fireplace does heat the living room pretty nicely.
Hot water was very hot and plentiful. So hot I would say to be careful with children. The hot tubs are across the street: 2 very large outdoor and indoor. This was a very nice bonus. The place was clean and organized. Wifi reception good.
To get to the slopes it was very easy to take the brown line free shuttle. Couple hundred feet walk in teh morning, and dropped us off right at the condo coming back
The condo met and exceeded our expectations! When you walk in there's a nice hallway with hooks for your snow gear and a bench that you can get your snow gear on and off at. There's 2 bedrooms both with a bathroom and a nice big living room with a widescreen TV and a fireplace. But what's really nice is that the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plenty of dishes, cups, pans, pots and appliances. There's a coffee maker, crock pot, juicer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc etc. The condo is a 5 minute walk to the lifts and a 10 minute walk to the convenience store... there's also a community center with a year round outdoor heated swimming pool and 4 jacuzzis (2 indoor and 2 outdoor). The community center also has a shower with free shampoo/soap so when you get out you can shower and change before walking the 2 minutes back to the condo. We really loved our stay and would definitely use it again/ recommend it to family/friends!
Breckenridge is the ultimate mountain town. In addition to the world-class skiing and snowboarding, the town has something for everyone and such a great feel to it. When we stepped foot into our Tamarisk condo, we felt the same way and knew we had found our vacation retreat where we would spend countless family getaways. Our unit is very spacious and has a huge great room area where several activities can be going on at once- watching football in front of the fireplace, playing board games over in the table area, or preparing meals / enjoying cocktail hour at the kitchen counter bar. Finding a unit with so much "living" space was a dream come true for us... we never want to leave!
Our condo complex is in an awesome location - a five minute walk to Main Street and the lifts at the base of Peak 9, as well as immediately on the free shuttle route. Even though close to everything, we are nestled in dozens of trees and maintain an air of privacy. Our condo is an end unit and one of the most spacious in our building- over 1240 square feet. We are one of the few units to have a wood burning fireplace, and we also belong to a club house across the street with outdoor heated pool and indoor and outdoor hottubs. You will feel right at home in our "home away from home"!
