Amazing location

We have been coming to Anastasia Island for 3 years and this has been the best property so far! The location and views are great and we had everything we needed. The property manager was on top of everything. We had enough space for our whole family. They have an everything you could need.

Great property for families

Spacious with plenty of beds and room for a family to spread out. Plenty of pots/pans and dinnerware. Lots of balcony space and a beautiful rooftop deck to enjoy sunsets.

Spring Break 2025

We are from Jacksonville Beach, but this was great for our local family of 4, my brother's family of 5, and his dog, Roy. The location is amazing, and the property is big and beautiful. The beds are super comfy, and there are plenty of towels and laundry—there are three washers and dryers in total! We only stayed three nights, had two wonderful family dinners in the big kitchen/living room on the third floor, and one night out for dinner at the Conch House (local favorite). The elevator was super helpful for bringing luggage to the 2nd and 3rd floors and food and supplies to the 3rd floor. We used everything: the rooftop for sunset and tanning, the pool, and the beach. The only recommendation is to update the beach chairs, as a few were quite old, and we needed 11.

Family celebration

The home is so stocked, we wanted and needed for nothing. It was very clean, everyone said the beds were so comfortable. It was perfect for our family. Best vacation house we’ve rented to date! So filled with joy after our weekend! Thank you so much to the incredible property owners/managers.

The property was top notch. All amenities as advertised. The house was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Perfect layout for our family’s celebration of our granddaughter’s first birthday! Host was very accommodating and responsive.

Another great beach vacation

This was our second stay at Sol Mate— upgraded mattresses, a new hot tub, a new office space and more upgrades made this even better than the first visit! Our family loves all the space, the pool, the rooftop star gazing, the proximity to the beach and the convenient location for our favorite St. Augustine activities! We have been coming to St. Augustine for decades and this is our favorite house!

Incredible House and location!

We had so much space and the photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the house and views are. The house was so well stocked and Don was quick to answer any questions we had. We had an unforgettable week of fun on the beach, gathering in the house with songs and games and ultimate relaxation in the pool and hot tub. We will be back!!

Beach sanctuary - perfect for family reunions

We loved staying at this house. The pool was awesome, we loved cooling off in it after being at the beach. The beach was so close, a short walk down the end of the street. The house was wonderful, beautiful treatments and comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The elevator was also awesome, helped with loading groceries and luggage. Communication was terrific too. We would definitely stay here again. Thank!

Perfect beach week

Convenient to the beach. Pool was wonderful. Very well equipped house. Decor beachy and comfortable. Needed a few handyman fixes ( several sinks the faucets drip, one sliding door handle falling off so couldn’t open. No recycling bin. Some light fixtures didn’t work. But all in all for our family it was perfect. Communication with the Proper group very efficient.

Nice home

This is a very nice home with great amenities but we can not give it 5 stars. In all communications from the property management company, they boast about a 5 star rating. It began upon arrive as our crew walked over the dune to the beach and greeted by a fleet of bulldozers and front loaders that were there to rebuild the beach by pumping in sand from offshore. To add, this turned out to be a 24x5 operation supported by mobile floodlights and the beeps of machine backing up all night long. While we understood the work they were doing, no one let us know ahead of time.

An overall great stay. Master was great and everything on 3rd floor was nice. We all enjoyed the rooftop especially early morning sunrise and evening sunset. The 3 king beds with sleep number mattress slept great. Porches and Pool was nice and love the salt water. Easy access to beach. Suggestions would be more bath towels, an extra refrigerator, or ice machine, soup/cereal bowls, working blender, bath mats. FYI we did see snakes and roaches.

Wonderful Stay at Sol Mate

The house and location were wonderful. The layout of the house worked beautifully for the 7 adults in our party providing plenty of space for gathering together as well as a place to retreat to after a great day of sightseeing. The elevator was a huge plus as one person in our party was on oxygen and the elevator enabled them to go up and down the levels with ease. The rooftop was incredible. We watched several gorgeous sunrises from the rooftop while enjoying our coffee. The backyard was great with the pool and hot tub. The location worked out perfectly and the pier and various restaurants were within easy walking distance. Check in and check out were super easy and convenient. We highly recommend Sol Mate.

This house has some soul!

AMAZING! Originally booked the house to vacation with my two brothers with their wives and my sister and brother in law but due to a death the my man and myself wereonly two who made the trip because the house looked too amazing not to go. The house did not disappoint! Rarely do you find houses with soul, certainly not a rental but oh my gosh this house has such an aura of relaxation and peace. Definitely we be back first chance we get!

Absolutely Awesome!!!

Wow! We had such a fabulous time at this gorgeous place!! My husband & I and our adult children (10 of us total - we don't have grandchildren yet) go somewhere different every year, and honestly it doesn't matter where we go just as long as we are together... but Wow this place added such special memories!! The rooftop is like being on a cruise ship -- the sky and the ocean views are just breathtaking!!! We have a couple of musicians in our family (Spooky Island - band name) that played the guitar and sang on the roof for us under the stars - awesome memory!! We celebrated one of our daughters recent engagement on the rooftop too <3!! Beach access was perfect!! Very clean beautiful home & very accommodating!! We used the pool often & it was a delight!! Office was absolutely perfect for one of our sons that works remote as well. We loved this trip very very much. Thanks for sharing your awesome home with us!!

Over promised and under delivered

Property manager was absolute worse! The AC did not work the house was sweltering made contact immediately and was told couldn’t send anyone to fix it was being replaced the Wednesday after we checked out. The mold is through out the entire house and the most concerning all of the smoke detectors were removed from all three floors! Couldn’t sleep in the house ... so disappointing!

Clean, comfortable stay with a few minor things...

The house is clean and comfortable. We were told we could check in early at 3:00 but when we arrived at 3:30 the house was still being cleaned and the code did not work. The management arrived within minutes to fix the problem so it was not a problem. It has most everything one needs for a vacation although the linens and towels could be upgraded as well as cutlery and some of the pans need to be replaced (minor details). Also there is construction going on back of the house (2 houses are being built) so there is noise starting about 7am. The second evening there was either a drug bust or gang arrest a few houses down so more excitement than I expected. However I want to note the area is safe and I had no other incidents. The hot tub needs to be cleaned as it was filled with sand so I did not use it except to dip my legs. The pool seemed clean and my husband did swim a couple of times. The cushions outside were a bit stained and seemed old. Although inside the house was clean the furniture outside seemed to be neglected. The house is situated within 15 minutes drive into town and steps away from the beach. Also walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops so I really liked the location. I would still rent this place again and recommend it.

This house is a one of a kind house due to its roof top deck but also its location. You can walk five minutes to arguably the best diner in St Augustine and restaurants available for lunch and dinner are a 6 minute walk.

To get to the great beach of St Augustine beach, it is 200 steps to the dunes allowing you to enjoy morning sunrises that are phenomenal.

If you want to watch sunrise with a cup of coffee and coffee pot just steps away, enjoy the flat open roof to see then entire beach line and watch both sunrise and sunset.

You can see the flat roof, which is totally unique, but the location is what makes this one a place that people rebook over and over again. With the elevator in the house it is ideal for all ages to enjoy. Plenty of sleeping areas with so many different areas in the house to beak away and have private discussions or to just be by yourself even with a full house.
