Cottage idyllique au coeur de Somerset dans les contreforts du mendips AONB

Notre chalet a été récemment rénové à un niveau élevé avec votre confort à l'esprit. Il a été conçu comme une pièce à vivre ouverte et spacieuse, avec chauffage au sol dans l’ensemble.

Il dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée, d'une chambre confortable avec un nouveau lit king size, d'une salle de douche privative et d'une grande douche à l'italienne.

Les portes-fenêtres mènent à un joli jardin isolé avec le ruisseau de Langford qui passe devant et surplombant les champs voisins, un endroit idéal pour manger en plein air.

Lovely cottage

We had a lovely weeks stay in this well equpped cottage. Owners were attentive and checked in a couple of times. Cottage ideally placed for visiting family nearby.

A charming and peaceful little gem.

Perfect for two people this little cottage has everything you need for get away from it all break in the country. The layout is open plan and double doors lead out into a stunning garden, not a large space but beautifully tended for. The kitchen has everything you need, all in perfect condition.The bathroom is straight off the bedroom and has a fabulous walk in shower with a user freindly rain forest shower. We had a lovely weeks stay here and really at the end didn't want to go home!

Superb accommodation in lovely area

Vic and Jane are lovely hosts and the accommodation and patio style garden were beautifully presented... The Cottage was very clean and comfortable with attractive decor and all you need for a great stay... The location was central to all visitor attractions in North Somerset so a perfect holiday in every sense!!!

Short stay near Wells

After living and travelling abroad fo 30 plus years I found this to be one of the best designed and equipped locations for a short stay. Jane and Vic where extremely helpful on local knowledge while allowing all the privacy we needed. Will definatley be back and would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to friends and family. Also very good value for the price

Jane and Vic were great hosts. Acacia cottage was delightful with all the comforts of home. It was very relaxing to look out across the beautiful courtyard.

The reason for the holiday was to get a good rest away from the office with the option to be out when we wanted or stay in if we wanted. The cottage allowed us to do that. Also the hostess was on hand if we needed anything.

Home from home

I have been a regular user of Homeaway/ Vrbo for many years and can honestly say that this is the best property we have had the pleasure of booking, by a country mile. The location is perfect for exploring North Somerset, which is beautiful and the knowledge that we were returning each evening to a beautiful cottage with an exquisite babbling brook at the foot of the garden, was just sublime.

Had a fantastic relaxing week. Host Vic and Jane excellent hosts. Cottage was just so beautiful and quiet. Pub not to far away and a local supermarket walking distance. I’d recommend it to anyone. 5star well worth it Diane and Sharon

Beautiful cottage!

This cottage was even better than we expected and it was absolutely perfect for our two night stay. It was spotless, with everything on hand you could think of. The decor was stunning and the garden was a beautiful place to sit out in (even in October). We could not fault it and the hosts were lovely and friendly, with advice on where to eat locally. We had a fantastic meal in the Langford Inn and found it to be a perfect place to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely like to return.

Fantastic property and host

We had a wonderful few days staying in Acacia Cottage. The cottage and garden are both absolutely beautiful, and incredibly well looked after. The cottage was spotless and has everything you could need, and more. Jane and Vic are perfect hosts, they are there if you need them but respect your privacy too. Jane left a welcome pack for us, which was very thoughful and very much appreciated. Her homemade jam is amazing! We would absolutely recommend Jane and Acacia Cottage x

Beautiful cottage

This is a perfect little cottage for a couple looking for a break in a gorgeous peaceful location, that is also handy for visiting the many attractions in this beautiful area. Lovely little touches to the cottage really make this a unique experience, and hosts Vic and Jane have done a fantastic job in creating this tranquil space and have thought of everything that you might need, as well as being the most welcoming hosts with lots of local knowledge. Really can't fault it at all! Will definitely be looking to return sometime.

ACACIA COTTAGE

Had an extremely enjoyable and very comfortable stay for 5 nights, in what has to be the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It is very tastefully decorated with an excellent bed, shower and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. The patio garden is a delight, full of beautiful plants and to add to it the lovely stream running along. Lower Langford is a lovely village with the bonus of a great pub just 5 min. walk away. Looking forward to another stay and meeting up with Jane and Vic the owners of the cottage.

Perfect

The cottage is simply beautiful, warm and cosy, lovely garden with a stream running past, excellent location for exploring the area, with a very fine pub just 5 mins walk away for those days we couldn't be bothered to cook. Directions were clear and accurate and easy to find the place. Our hosts were both lovely, we didn't need any extra help but felt sure it would be provided if we asked. We very much appreciated the homemade jam and other little touches. Wifi was very good. Bed very comfortable. We hope to come back!
