The room was amazing! There are kid games to help pass time. The pool on the roof show a great view of Okinawa! The restaurant downstairs is great. American Village is in walking distance making the experience amazing.
Great spacious place for families. Walking distance from American Village and Sunset Beach. Would be better if there was an inhouse staff to assist and provide daily towels
This is a beautiful property. This room was the most spacious of our stay in Japan. There is a separate bedroom that can comfortably sleep 4 with an en-suite. There are 2 additional beds in the main area plus an additional shower and washroom. The washer and dryer worked better than any other place we stayed (we stayed at other places in Tokyo and Hiroshima). The rooftop bar and the rooftop infinity pool are a nice touch. The property is only a 7 minute walk to American Village. The only negative was self check in. It took three of us to figure it out and check in.
Unit was a good size for a family of five, clean quiet and comfortable. The pool is decent size with a view of the city, there is a bar on the rooftop which serves good mix of alcoholic drinks. Thereâs also a izakaya downstairs and a lot of restaurants are walkable. Will stay there again!
Les points forts : Confort de la chambre et communication
Nice option for space and self-cooking
No staff for check-in, just a tablet which worked fine for us. No cleaning during the 3 days we stayed which again was fine for us. The separate washer and dryer on site were nice. Apartment was large and appliances worked well. Didn't get a chance to check out the rooftop pool. Only negative was mildew/mold growth in showers which seems like it might be unavoidable in Okinawa - humidity was nearly 80% with temps in the high 80's while we stayed. Ran AC and fans consistently to cut through it. Otherwise very clean - furnishings and bedding were nice and kitchen in good shape.
Good location and many restaurants nearby. 10 mins walk to American village. But all e-checkin and out is not easy for some ppl but not too difficult. The room was big and clean with good view.
Very new and clean
Kitchen is extremely clean and well equipped with utensils and cutlery
Washing machine provided with detergent
Got 2 toilets and bath tub which is so nice and crucial for group of people
We stayed in a premium condo. The facilities were excellent. Huge apartment for our family of five. Super clean. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and America Village. The worst part was having to leave. Our kids loved the rooftop pool. Sogoi!!
Great property, very spacious especially for Japan city standards. Only gripe is with being able to talk to a representative is especially difficult. For example, parking is in specific spots, I came home one evening and found another car in my spot, I couldn't do anything about it. Next morning I found a note on my car as I had then parked in another spot. Resolving this issue is practically impossible.
Everything was wonderful. The rooms are super clean and the communication for any mishaps are quickly resolved. The beds are a tiny bit hard but thatâs just my personal preference. Otherwise, it has been a great stay
The room itself wasn't bad, but the stay was ruined by a few major problems:
Inconsistent Hot Water: Hot water supply was very unreliable. It would run cold within 1-2 minutes of starting a shower, forcing me to turn the water off and wait for a few minutes before it got hot again. You can't even fill the bathtub because the hot water doesn't last long enough.
Poor Directions: Finding the place was a nightmare. I booked the ANNEX Clover but only found out it was in a completely different location when I got to the main hotel. The "guide" they gave me was useless, and I had to figure out how to get there on my own. This meant putting all my luggage back in the car and driving again.
Confusing Parking: The parking situation was a mess. I was assigned a specific spot number for the Annex, but that number wasn't actually visible when I arrived. I parked randomly at first. Only after going inside did I find a map that clarified which spots were which, forcing me to go back out and move my car.
Bugs: There were bugs in one of the bedroom so keep that in mind if you plan to stay here.
Keep in mind this is a self-service hotel. There's no one around to help instantly if you have an urgent issue. I guess you get what you pay for, so think twice before you book here.
Traveled with 3 yo and 1yo. I booked for 2 days and ended up staying only 1 day and checked out. Overall horrible experience and never will stay in any Coldio property when visiting okinawa.
The good:
- washer and dryer
- good water pressure
- large trash can
The bad:
- impossible checkin process. Never received qr or 6 digit code. Nobody is there to help. Cleaning staff and person over the phone spoke little to no English.
- dusty under the sofa, bed
- table is too dirty (woven wood making it difficult to clean)
- very loud environment (loud car noise until 1am at night)
- lot of light pollution in the room. The coldio sign in the mirror lights up in bright blue. Very annoying when sleeping.
- TV only shows like 4 channels
- not soundproofed well, gets very annoying when upstairs kids run around
- Dadami and bathroom are half step up so my kids ended up falling quite often, safety hazard especially in the corner.
