The Space:

Atlántico Sal is a trendy 326 ft² studio apartment located in the heart of Dorado. It features a queen bed, a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a laundry area with a washer (no dryer), and a full bathroom. This chic studio is just a 5-7 minute walk to one of Puerto Rico’s most beautiful public beaches - “Dorado Public Beach” - and steps away from restaurants and bars. The unit includes one assigned parking space for your convenience.



It is a part of the Atlántico complex which includes four additional boutique apartments also available for rent: Villa Atlántico Ola, Villa Atlántico Sol, Villa Atlántico Pez and Villa Atlántico Mar.



These modern and eclectic units feature outdoor semi-private areas where guests can enjoy a cooling swim in the plunge pool or simply relax after a day mingling around the beach or the nearby establishments. Atlántico Sal features air conditioning, WI-FI access, parking for one vehicle, and a washer (no dryer). This is an ideal spot for couples or solo travelers looking to explore the island of Puerto Rico.

SECURITY CAMERAS: VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS ARE INCORPORATED IN THE DEVELOPMENT ACCESS, OUTDOOR SURROUNDINGS, PARKING, AND POOL AREA.



PLUNGE POOL MAINTENANCE: THE POOL MAN HAS TO ACCESS THE COMPLEX EVERY FRIDAY IN THE EARLY MORNING TO CLEAN THE PLUNGE POOL. NO EXCEPTIONS. GUESTS DO NOT NEED TO BE AT THE PROPERTY FOR THIS.



SHARED PLUNGE POOL AND OUTDOOR TERRACE: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POOL AND OUTDOOR TERRACE IS SHARED WITH 4 OTHER UNITS. IT IS NOT PRIVATE FOR THIS APARTMENT.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



The studio features a comfortable queen bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the island. The modern full bathroom with shower includes hotel-size amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to get you off to a comfortable start.



NOTE: THE LARGER BLUE DOOR SHOWN IN THE LISTING NEXT TO THE BED IS NOT OPERATIONAL. IT HAS BEEN SECURELY SHUT TO ENSURE PRIVACY BETWEEN THE BEDROOM AND THE COMMON AREAS, SO IT CANNOT BE OPENED DURING YOUR STAY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE LET US KNOW.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHENETTE



Prepare your favorite meals in the convenient kitchenette, equipped with a hotel-size refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a blender, and a two-burner stove. It is a small but fully equipped kitchenette that is perfect for your extended stay. There is a table for two right next to the kitchen so that you can enjoy your favorite meals together.





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



The property includes space for one (1) **compact** vehicle. If renting a larger car, you would need to park on the street.



Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. You will need one to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island. Ubers are not readily available in the area and should not be depended on.





LOCATION



Atlántico Sal is located in the beautiful town of Dorado. This town has great charm and it is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport. Atlántico Pez has restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops all within a short ride away.



Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all the amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:



Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options.



Chill at the beach! The Dorado Public Beach is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Atlántico Sal. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach. You can also drive to Cerro Gordo Beach which is also a long sandy beach well protected from swell and is a 5-minute drive from the villa.



Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour's drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world.



Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35-minute drive away and the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy!



Other Things to Note:

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
