POSITION POSITION POSITION!
Apartment 19 is a beautifully renovated apartment (with a new and extended kitchenette and an updated bathroom with step in shower and new vanity) in the renowned Hibiscus Gardens Resort - situated in a favoured position within the Resort, Apartment 19 is just steps away from the on-site managers office, where the helpful staff will help with your tour and sightseeing needs. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a Balinese theme and the 2 heated swimming pools, you are within an easy stroll of 4-Mile Beach and the heart of Port Douglas, with its endless variety of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and more. There is no need for a car!
THE APARTMENT AND ITS FACILITIES:
Located on the 1st floor, up an easy flight of stairs, you enter through a private locking gate onto your private balcony, that leads into the Apartment, with its beautifully renovated and extended kitchenette (with full size fridge and 2 burner hotplates), open lounge room with daybed for a 3rd guest (if needed) and smart TV, leading through to the separately partitioned bedroom, with its queen size bed and onto the deluxe renovated bathroom beyond.
ACCESS UPON ARRIVAL:
A key safe has been installed on the balcony door, allowing Guests to let themselves into the Apartment upon arrival. This gives Guests total flexibility as to their arrival time. And being a Port Douglas local, your host is only a few minutes away if assistance is needed.
ON SITE CAR PARKING:
Guests enjoy free on-site undercover parking, which is only steps away from the apartment. This means your car is always nearby.
ALL LINEN SUPPLIED:
Apartment 19 is fully prepared for your stay, with freshly laundered sheets and pillow cases. Each
guest is provided with a bath towel, a beach towel, a face cloth and shampoo/conditioner/soap. Tea, coffee, sugar salt & pepper are also provided for your arrival.
FACILITIES IN THE RESORT:
The facilities of Hibiscus Gardens Resort are available for the use of guests, including the 2 swimming pools and when open, the ever popular on-site Spa. There is a shared laundry for guests, that operates on a user pay basis. During the high season, guests may, with the approval of the on site manager, enjoy on-site breakfasts (at a charge).
COMPLIMENTARY CLEANS FOR STAYS OF
MORE THAN 10 NIGHTS:
Apartment 19 is not a serviced Apartment, so daily services are not provided. But if you are staying for more than 10 nights, we provide a complimentary mid stay clean and change of linen and toiletries.
WIFI:
Free Wifi is provided throughout the Resort.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
Guests will receive an email with the access code to the apartment before arrival, so there is no picking up keys
or checking in, making it very easy for you.

I immediately fell in love with Australia, the tropics and the people, and now, all these years later, I am still here. Now I live in Port Douglas, with its vibrant community of locals and the wonderful variety of tourists who visit here at all times during the year. I am a 'people person', so being a host gives me the chance to meet people from not only Australia, but from all over the world and to enjoy so many new friendships.

It is unique in Australia, being a town located in the tropics, with all the modern facilities, including 5 star resorts, world class restaurants, boutiques and more. Also, it gives special access to the outer reefs of the Great Barrier Reef, with daily tours operating from the marina from the largest of vessels holding in the 100's of passengers to small private groups.
