LIVING AREAS
Step into Salty Villa through a grand custom door, and let the magic unfold as panoramic views greet you through floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. The beauty of the tropical beachfront landscape becomes an integral part of your experience, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor spaces.
As you enter Salty Villa, you will have the modern living room to your right and the elegant custom kitchen and dining area to your left. The living room is adorned with two sleek leather sofas, a stylish coffee table, a flat-screen TV, and modern touches. Slide open the doors from the living room, seamlessly transitioning to the outdoor terrace, pool area, and patio. The indoor-outdoor flow is part of the magic that Salty Villa offers. There is a half bathroom on this level.
KITCHEN
The custom fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, complete with modern appliances and a stylish dining area perfect for enjoying meals with a view. The kitchen is equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, built-in microwave, full-size oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster oven. The expansive kitchen island features a 4-burner stove and seating for four. Right in front of the kitchen is the modern dining table for 6 guests.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The three well-appointed bedrooms provide comfortable accommodations, all with flat-screen TVs and fully air-conditioned.
The first bedroom with the bunk twin beds is located on the first floor and features an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom has an additional twin trundle bed.
The second bedroom and the master bedroom are located on the second floor and they both open up to a spectacular terrace featuring a plunge pool and simple outdoor furnishing. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and closet space. The third full bathroom is right outside the second bedroom, next to the living room.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a modern ensuite bathroom.
These bedrooms are divided by a living room that has a flat-screen TV and a queen sized-sleeper sofa.

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Step outside to your private paradise â a sun-soaked terrace with a sparkling infinity pool and expansive green patio with direct access to the beach. Unwind in the seating area at the shaded outdoor terrace featuring an L-shaped sofa, or gather around with your group right beside the pool. There is an outdoor sofa for 3 guests, two armchairs, and an umbrella if you prefer the shade. The property includes a barbecue grill so that you can enjoy al fresco dining.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
Renting a car is a must when staying in Arecibo. There are many activities within driving distance, and the roads are easy to navigate. Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.
The villa includes parking for uo to four (4) cars. Salty Villa is about an hour and a half away from the SJU airport.
LOCATION
Nestled in the charming community of Islote in Arecibo, this property offers a tranquil escape with easy access to local attractions. Explore nearby Arecibo Lighthouse, Cueva del Indio, or take a scenic drive along the coastline to discover the beauty of Puerto Rico.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guestâs responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 9 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If youâd like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and weâll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and weâll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
