Profitez de l'alternative d'hôtel de luxe récemment rénovée et parfaite que nous appelons le Garden Studio. Situé au centre-ville de Keflavik, dans le jardin secret du petit château blanc bien connu des locaux. Il peut accueillir deux personnes (un lit superposé et / ou un lit bébé peut être ajouté pour une troisième personne) et est à une courte distance de marche des épiceries, musées, restaurants, bars et magasins.

Conçu dans un style rustique, il a été reconstruit avec des matériaux haut de gamme pour le confort et des matériaux récupérés pour la décoration, la transpiration et beaucoup d'amour. ” L'appartement est équipé d'une cuisine, d'un coin repas et d'un espace de travail avec un bureau, d'une salle de bains privative avec douche et d'une chambre avec un très grand lit queen-size et d'une télévision connectée à écran plat de 127 cm.

Le Garden Studio est livré avec son propre patio privé avec une cheminée, un grill et un coin salon et les clients sont également les bienvenus pour partager d'autres installations dans le jardin secret. Le patio principal du petit château blanc est équipé d'une cascade, d'un jacuzzi, d'une cheminée, d'une grande table à manger et d'un coin salon. Un parking gratuit, des vélos gratuits et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite sont disponibles pour tous les clients.

Il est également à proximité en voiture de la plupart des principales attractions touristiques d'Islande ainsi que de la ville de Reykjavik. Dans la distance proche, nous avons le Blue Lagoon (20 min en voiture) ainsi que l'aéroport international de Reykjavik / KEF (6 min en voiture) et Reykjavik (40 min en voiture). Parfait pour profiter au maximum de votre temps à portée de main.

I had a great one night stay in Iceland and this was the perfect place. The host are very nice and even picked me up and dropped me off at the airport which saved me the headache of catching a bus. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Spectacular!

This was the cutest place to stay! Everything was so wonderful and everything we needed was available. The location is great and right by restaurants and shops. Katrin is the sweetest and we wished we could have stayed longer! She was so accommodating and made us feel like family right from the start

Cozy studio near airport

Clean and comfortable with clever/artsy decor. We had what we needed for a comfortable stay our last night in Iceland. Just a few minutes drive to KEF and easy walk to grocery store and restaurants/bars. Host was responsive and communication easy. Thank you for a nice stay!

Stayed here on our last day in Iceland before our flight home and it was perfect. We’ve been “living” out of a camper van the past week so it was nice having a relaxing place to stay in. The owners were nice enough to let us in a little earlier and gave us good dining recommendations as well as have a taxi ready for us the morning of our flight. Overall 5/5.

Amazing Host!

We were a group of 5 friends travelling Iceland, we spent our first two nights at the Little White Castle in Reykjanesbar. Katrin was the most accommodating host we have ever had while travelling! Upon our arrival she had picked up some fresh bread and prepared an Icelandic Breakfast! Furthermore, throughout our stay she assisted us with navigating Iceland, planning activities, and recommending places to eat! We hope to come back and explore again soon! Wonderful!

When we arrived Katren greeted us warmly. We loved the warm touches in our cozy room. She gave us tips and directions for restaurants.I especially loved the hot tub after an all day tour. There's plenty of shops nearby. She treated us like family. We needed to find a laundromat,she offered to do the laundry for us wich was very kind. There's more I would like to see of Iceland, I hope to return and stay there again.I highly recommend.

Booking Problem, Ended Up at Different Property Owned by Host

We did not end up staying in the Garden Studio, as there were other guests there upon our arrival for check-in. We hadn't contacted the host prior to arrival, as a couple days before check-in, we recieved excellent, detailed instructions for how to access the unit on our date of arrival. The host came out to meet us as we were trying to figure out what to do next, after there was no key in the lockbox we accessed, per the check-in instructions. The host had left a voicemail and sent a message via VRBO the day of check-in, however, I didn't have an international phone plan so did not have access to check these messages before our arrival (was using wifi to check in and coordinate lodging throughout the trip). Although we had confirmation of our booking, had paid, and recieved the check-in information, she cited a system error that must have allowed a double-booking that she hadn't caught prior to that day. She took us across the street to another property. Since it was already late and we had an early flight, we went with it and figured it would suffice. While trying to get situated, we realized there was no power to half the unit (bathroom and bedroom) and that the WiFi wasn't working. We also were not able to lock the door, so had to leave it open for the night (this was likely operator error, but didn't feel great staying in an unlocked place and would have appreciated instructions for how to use the lock, either left in the unit or demonstrated when we arrived). We messaged the owner (granted, it was late by this time) and did not receive a message back until the following day, when we were already back home. This message said there was a noticeable fuse box in the unit we should have seen and tried. It doesn't seem unreasonable to us that there would be working electricity upon check-in. In the unit we ended up in, we did not see usable amenities such as a hot tub that were part of the original listing. Based on our experience, we would find a different place to stay next time in Keflavik. The host was friendly, but this was a stressful way to end our trip in Iceland and frustrating to have paid for one thing and then recieved another, which didn't meet the needs of what we were looking for. Katrin seems like a good host, so if this looks like it may suit your needs, it could be an option to consider. But, we'd encourage explicit communication prior to arrival to know what you're getting and hopefully avoid the experience we had.

Outstanding little place. The host was very gracious. The property was really cool with little bits of artsy stuff all over the backyard garden. The amenities were plentiful. A discount at 3 different restaurant s within walking distance. 10/10 Would and will stay there again.

We had such an amazing time!

We had such an amazing time at this rental property, the unit was cozy and had everything we needed. The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the nearest bus top (we took a bus from Reykjavik), a grocery store(Bonus), the harbour and the strip where there are restaurants and bars. Our host was phenomenal and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. She and her hubby are awesome and we had a good time learning about her decor and the stories behind them.

We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it because we saw the potentials. In the beginning, it was the ugly duckling of our town Keflavik, but after years of renovation and redesigning we were rewarded twice by the community for the renovation of the house and garden. This was in the year 2007 and 2015. Now we invite others to enjoy our creation because after all the best things in life should be shared.

Whether it be because of the fairy tale hidden garden with its 3 patios, Waterfall and Geothermal heated Jacuzzi, relaxing in front of one of the fireplaces, getting a good nights rest before your flight or simply because of the short distances to some of the most famous tourist attractions in Iceland. You will definitely love staying at the Little White Castle and rest assured that we will do our best to make your stay a memorable one in the 'Happy memories' category.
