Situated in North Hobart, just a five-minute stroll from plenty of restaurants, entertainment options and the iconic State Theatre, this chalet-style studio is one of two ground-floor units at the rear of this beautifully restored local landmark building. Explore the CBD, waterfront, and Salamanca Markets—all within easy reach. Inside, raked ceilings and skylight windows drench the space in natural light. Air conditioning, heated floors, high-speed WiFi and a smart TV add to your convenience.
Bright and spacious, this studio offers a modern fitout with Tasmanian oak floors, soaring ceilings and a cosy front porch. There is an electric window control to allow a pleasant breeze on the warmer days and a heating/cooling pump to keep the entire studio cosy year-round. From the wall-mounted smart TV, you can access ABC iView, SBS On Demand and YouTube as well as local channels. Or simply log into your own Netflix account and use our free high-speed WiFi. Play your own music library on the JBL Bluetooth-enabled speaker and FM clock radio which also has USB ports to charge your own devices..

The kitchen includes an electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, high-quality cookware, and cutlery. Enjoy the morning sun with a coffee, dine comfortably with an evening meal or stroll to the North Hobart precinct to sample its famed restaurants.

The bedroom area is separated by a partial wall, offering built-ins to store your belongings and a comfortable queen bed with high-quality linen and doonas. A striking custom-built sofa in the lounge can easily be opened into a double-sized bed with a genuine spring mattress. The bathroom features gorgeous Spanish tiles with a walk-in shower and in-floor heating. The built-in laundry includes a Bosch washing machine and a spin dryer along with a soaking tub.

There is plenty of street parking and on-site car parking is available by request.

Prime Location

A wonderful location near to shopping, bus transportation or, if you prefer to walk, 30 minutes from the wharf. We spent a lovely week in Hobart and just scratched the surface of all the town offers. Plus, while we did not get the opportunity to eat at the Anchor Inn next door, we heard that it is one of the best restaurants in Hobart!

Great location and comfortable stay!

Perfect location for access to my workplace and an easy 24th b walk into town. Lovely apartment with all you need. Great communication from hosts. I’d definitely stay again.

Cleaning was substandard and the mattress / pillows weren't great so don't expect a good night's sleep. Got locked out the second night there as their digital lock failed - terrible customer service and was ready to go check into a hotel by the time they started addressing it. Left out in the cold (literally) for hours. Owner / company let themselves in without notice when we were out. Great location and easy walking to various bars, breweries and good food places. Overall would look for something else in the same area but wouldn't stay in this unit / use this company again.

Well located gem

This property is tucked away in a private courtyard with off street parking. Compact but containing everything you could need, there was a generous bathroom with laundry facilities and a well appointed kitchen. The Iocation is a high point as Elizabeth Street and all its funky bars and cafes is just around the corner.
