Natalie, we are very glad that your family enjoyed the stay at our beach house. We love that our guests are happy and enjoy their time at the lake the most!

You are a type of guests that brings multiple dogs and do not pay, and yet complain about spiders to demand a refund. It is our home/beach house that we share with people who want to spent time at the lake on a private beach and a cottage. We clean our house ourselves - it is not a 5 star New York hotel, it is my home and you were a guest, we cleaned for you probably better than you cleaned your own house with all the dogs you brought, the dog hair were left everywhere on the floor and furniture after your visit. Please do not come back, but let other people who would really appreciate the lake and cottage environment, being able to have great time with the family and pets as the rest of guest before you.

Amazing guests, independent, clean, great communication with host, and enjoyed my property, that is why I share it with guests, so they could enjoy to the most. Will be very happy to host them again.

This is not a hotel, but our home where we live all year around. The visitors are welcomed to enjoy this magnificent place, because our wish to share it comes from desire to make people happy, that has been so, all people that have visited - enjoyed and spent great time at our beloved home. However, there is always a first time. The experience of having you was one of a kind, where for the first time we encountered: - Our personal things in drawers and on shelves were went through, item moved, misplaced, removed, relocated, missing, told they were thrown away; - Decisions made about the house equipment without asking, or disregarding the notes left, that resulted in hardware failure, now are needed to be fixed by external services; - No smoking rule was disregarded - a cigarette burn on a blanket; - Brought at list two dogs without paying a fee - this is dishonesty; - Wet and mudded towels used to dry the dog(s) were left piled up on the dining table, another pile on the floor of wet linen, towels, blankets instead of placing is a basket provided for the used towels; - The puddles of water left on the bedroom floor. Is it how you live in your home? If not, then it is very disrespectful. And another thing good to know, when people are kind to you, it does not automatically mean that they are stupid.
