Welcome to the Sawatch Chalet, by Mountain Vacation Lodging. If you're looking for a large home with luxurious quality, a private hot tub, panoramic views, privacy, and a convenient location that offers with quick, easy access to the ski slopes, look no further! During ski season, guests will enjoy the free Dial-A-Ride shuttle service, which is on call and ready to whisk you from youru driveway to the ski lifts, or vice versa. As soon as you enter this home, you'll appreciate the professional touch and attention to detail that is evident throughout this property. Enjoy the benefits of renting a property whose owners care about their guest's experience, who do the little things to ensure you have a wonderful place to stay. From the chef's kitchen to the high quality mattresses, bedding, linens, and furniture, there is a lot to love inside and out. The outdoor space is fantastic, with views across the golf course and built ins including a firepit, private hot tub, and Alfresco gas grill. Inside, the property is simultaneously spacious and private. The 3 bedrooms are spread out and separated from one another, while the main living area has vaulted ceilings and an open layout. The location is ideal as well, with privacy on the golf course, within walking distance of the Arrow Bahn Express Lift, but of course no walking is necessary, since the very convenient, very easy on call shuttle is just a phone call away. Please read on for more details!

The Property:
This is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom duplex home with 2500 square feet. Many 4-Bedroom homes have less square footage than this property! Not only is this property large, it has been lovingly updated and maintained over time. The quality really is top notch, as is the style and architecture. The main space has 16 foot high vaulted ceilings and an open layout from the kitchen across the dining and living area to the bar. The floor to ceiling, wood burning stone fireplace and heated hardwood floors combine with comfy upscale furniture to create a cozy and welcoming place to relax. Large windows and sliding doors offer the option to let in natural light, and the lack of neighboring homes means you'll have plenty of privacy even with the shades and drapes wide open. The wet bar is an ideal spot for entertainment, and allows you to leave the kitchen to the chef. Speaking of chefs, if you like to cook, you're in for a treat! This kitchen is is much more than "fully equipped." It is designed with beauty and functionality in mind. Features include a professional wolf range and oven with a pot filler and hood vent that matches the cabinetry, solid quartz counters and backsplash. The fridge is a large sub zero, and the drawers and cabinets provide storage for all your food items as well as many "little extras," such as the crock pot, air fryer, keurig, blender, and most any utensil or cooking gadget you could want.

The bedrooms offer privacy and a bed setup that works very well for groups of 6. Whether your group is 3 couples or includes singles or kids, this home will work for you. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have King beds, while bedroom 3 has a new sectional sofa that sets up as a "super Queen". This is not your average "sleeper sofa." This is a high end sectional that becomes a platform bed with a memory foam mattress. This third bedroom also has a dedicated workstation for those who might need to work remotely. All 3 bedrooms include a large HDTV and a dedicated bathroom.

The primary master is upstairs. This large bedroom easily accommodates the King bed, large bedside tables, and dresser. There's also a swivel chair that's ideal for watching TV or reading. The master bathroom includes a walk in closet, 2 sinks, plenty of counter space, a water closet for the toilet, a large free standing tub, and walk in shower. Back downstairs, bedroom 2 also has ample space for its King bed, the bedside tables, an armoire, as well as floating clothing storage. This room also has a wall mounted HDTV, walk in closet, and bay window with a window seat. Within this bedroom you'll find another spacious bathroom which features a lovely and large granite counter with undermounted sink and a nice sized shower. Bedroom 3 has the aforementioned deluxe super Queen sleeper sofa, the office/worstation, another wall mounted HDTV, dresser and closet. Its full bathroom is across the hall but has the largest counter of all the bathrooms - plenty of space here even for a couple of ladies to share. Don't forget the extra half bathroom, which has an absolutely gorgeous floating vanity with vessel sink, wall mounted faucet, and a full wall of slate tile to accentuate the design.

While the interior of this home is exquisite and appealing, you'll love the outdoor space too. The patio has a heated path to the hot tub and there's a custom stone wall and counter for the built in Alfresco grill. The patio includes outdoor dining set for 6 plus comfy chairs with ottomans. Enjoy a cup of coffee by the firepit while taking in the panoramic views that sweep across the golf course and Eagle Valley all the way to Castle Peak. Relax in the 6 person private hot tub with the same spectacular views, and rejuvenate your body for a sound night's sleep and another day full of adventure!

Dial-A-Ride Private Shuttle Service:
Skiers and snowboarders will love how easy it is to hit the slopes. There is direct access from the home to Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch, and Beaver Creek. When you go into the heated garage to put on your boots, call the Dial A Ride shuttle. Within a few minutes, sometimes before you're even ready, they'll be in front of the garage, waiting to deliver you to the Arrow Bahn Express lift. It's only a half a mile, so you have a very short ride to and from the slopes, and some choose to walk it. Being a gated community, traffic is light, the road is basically flat, and it is a great way to warm up your legs before hopping on the lift. Just walk west on Sawatch Drive, turn left on Arrowhead Circle, and you're there. Whether you choose to walk or use the Dial A Ride shuttle, this location is very convenient, private, and safe.

Location:
The property is located on Sawatch Road, within the private gated community at the base of Arrowhead. Additionally, the home is located on hole 11 of the Country Club of the Rockies, a Jack Nicklaus signature links style golf course. If you want to try snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or skate skiing, there are groomed trails right out the back door in the winter. You'll also have direct access to the Arrow Bahn Express Lift, which delivers you to the Upper Beaver Creek Mountain Express Lift. The home is at just 7400 feet in elevation. With the top of Beaver Creek at 11,440, you'll have over 4000 vertical feet and thousands of acres to explore. When you're not skiing, the location has more to love. In addition to golf, the community is home to numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as a playground for kids. Just outside of the community, you have the Eagle River, in case you'd like to try your hand at some world class fly fishing. This residential community is situated right in between the towns of Avon and Edwards, so there are lots of shops and restaurants to visit. Planning to head over to Vail for the day or night,, no problem, it's only 15 minutes away. Driving and parking is easy, and there are public transportation options too.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you've booked, we're here to support you. From concierge services to information on the property, we're just a phone call away. Arrival instructions will be emailed to guide you to and into the community and the property itself. The home has a 2 car garage, but half of the garage is set up as a heated storage area for your skis, snowboards, boots, or bikes. There is comfy seating, a great place to relax and remove your boots. This means you'll have space in the heated garage for one vehicle, plus two spaces immediately in front of the garage doors. Additional parking is available if needed. Ask us for details. Please note that trailers are not allowed, typically. If you will have a trailer or RV of any sort, please contact us before booking, to confirm if it might be possible to park it onsite. If not, we can provide you with information and options for offsite parking. To access the property, you'll need to go up only one step, from the garage into the home. Once inside, only the primary master is on another level, one floor up. The back patio is one step down from the primary living and dining area.

Mountain Luxury!

We stayed at the Sawatch Chalet for 10 nights during spring skiing. Every detail about the property was as stated or better! This property is full of luxurious detail and exceeded our expectations! Restful & quiet neighborhood, comfortable and warm home, and amenities that made us feel like royalty! The home is beautifully finished, furnished and decorated...we just loved the artwork throughout! The kitchen had everything we needed and more to enjoy hearty meals before and after skiing. The private hot tub was divine; we soothed our weary muscles every afternoon while enjoying the golf course views. We were visited by a herd of elk one morning, and two bobcats one evening! The house was very spacious, so our group of 6 adults never felt crowded.The property management team, BeaverCreek Duplex Management, was highly responsive to each query. Check in/out was super simple. The neighborhood shuttle to the slopes was generally very quick, at most 18 minutes from the time we requested on the app, and the drivers very friendly.The neighborhood is full of high-end private and vacation homes, quiet and no traffic, and a very pleasant place to stroll. Its location adjacent to Arrowhead Village, made hopping on and off the slopes a breeze! Sleepier than Beaver Creek Village, Arrowhead still includes one restaurant/bar with a lovely outdoor firepit slope side, and a fantastic restaurant in the clubhouse overlooking the golf course.We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful luxury condo

Great condo! Comfortable and quiet. Amenities were high end and the hot tub was great! The garage door is a single so if you have a huge vehicle be aware of that. Our Hyundai large SUV fit fine but a larger/wider car could be a tight fit.

Everything was exactly as described and top notch.Our family met for an early Christmas. Unfortunately, our family is spread out, across the country so we decided to meet in the middle. It was wonderful and it even snowed our last day’ We made many new memories in a beautiful place!

The house is just very upscale with top notch furniture, appliances, bedding, plumbing, heating, the blinds....Everything is very luxurious, super clean and sophisticated. We are world travelers, living in upscale properties of our own: this was one of the best we have ever stayed in.Drew, the host for this property contacted us proactively, was very available and when we were unable to do something just contacted the owner and put us on a 3-way call and even drove to the property, but it was just for something that worked and we did not understand how to change it. He also sent back something we left behind right away.Awesome stay: amazing property, great owners and super host Drew

This home was a perfect location for our trip to Beaver Creek. It was very well appointed and did not feel like a rental at all, very cozy. The shuttle was as described and very convenient. Delightful Duplex

Beautiful place with so much attention to detail...abundant amenities (music accessibility throughout - indoor and outdoor, jetted tub, bar, fireplace, hot tub, outdoor grill, firepit, etc. Lovely bedroom and bathroom layout providing privacy for all guests (3 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms) each in separate areas of the home. Open concept with multiple sliding doors for easy access in and out of the home. Attached Garage makes it convenient for unloading/loading. Stunning views and pure relaxation. Just minutes away from Vail, Colorado and great places to shop, dine or drink. The place is spotless. BEAUTIFULLY decorated!! Amenities (fire pit, hot tub and custom grill) were GREAT!!! Close to to everything but tucked away. What a PERFECT get away!! Many thanks to the host. So darn gracious!!!! One of the best experiences I have had this year!!!

Comfortable home with spectacular view

This was a very comfortable property for two couples as there are two large en suite bedrooms. The view from the hot tub is not to be missed.

High quality duplex with plenty of privacy

This location exceeded my expectations in every regard. The furniture is beautiful and the hot tub was very nice to have. Beds were extremely comfortable and we loved all the games provided! The fire place was the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend to a friend 10/10! The host was also very helpful and always available.

Beautiful Home in the Perfect Location

This beautiful property was everything we were looking for, and then some! A few highlights to our family were the heated garage which served as a comfortable mud room, high end appliances in the spacious kitchen, heated floors throughout, gorgeous bar with comfortable seating, large hot tub located just outside the back door, prompt shuttle service from the driveway to the arrowhead ski lift, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet gated community. We will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this property!

Excellent location!

The property was beautiful - the "dial-a-ride" service from the driveway to the Arrow-Bahn lift was the best! When we received the day-of check-in instructions, we were surprised to learn that it was a duplex - didn't see that mentioned anywhere in the listing. But the hot tub was positioned so we still had privacy and there were no noise issues. However, it just means there were no windows on one side of the house. We never got the heat working properly; but didn't call for help because we weren't there much. The system is just VERY complicated. The kitchen has high-end appliances but is only big enough for one cook at a time! Luckily we ate out most meals. It was a nice place to stay.

We will stay here again!

This place is the best! The hot tub was the main reason I booked and it was worth it. The view is amazing, layout is perfect and I will definitely stay here again. If this place is available on your dates don't let it slip away. Great price also! There were only four of us but would definitely fit 6 comfortably if two are okay with twin beds. Other two beds are king. Huge bathrooms. Hope this helps!

Adult Family Ski Trip

The house was very comfortable for six adults. Many great amenities that made for a wonderful trip including a wood burning fireplace, hot tub with view and ski shuttle. A few times the shuttle took 20-30 minutes to arrive, but we were there between Christmas and New Year. It was also nice to have a nicely supplied kitchen.

Lovely home, very convenient

The home was well appointed. Very immaculate, very comfortable. We had an issue with the hot tub not functioning properly on our first day; it was resolved the following day. The Dial A Ride service to Arrowhead was incredibly convenient— picked us up out in our driveway and dropped us off there at the end of the day.
