Situated on Ngaio Drive this property is a hop skip and a jump to the ātaahua (beautiful) Whangapoua Harbour.

The recently built modern barn style house provides plenty of room for the family or friends to relax. Situated down a private driveway, the partially fenced section offers good privacy and a large lawn area for entertaining. Plenty of room for the boat and off street parking.

This is a well-equipped 3-bedroom holiday home with all essentials on hand including a heat pump for year-round comfort. In summer make use of the sun drenched decking/louvre system and weber bbq, whilst admiring the views of the fresh water lake.

The golf course, bar and restaurant is just a 5-minute walk and the beautiful white sandy beach of Matarangi is 10-15 minutes away.

Dream Stay

We are so grateful to Sam for allowing us to stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, and has everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. Its very easy to maintain and keep tidy, is modern and comfy. Sam is super easy to communicate with. We would 100% stay here again, and highly recommend Te Whare Pango.

Reasonable

Fabulous location. Clean except for the curtains as they sprayed white stuff every time we put them up and down. Also the configuration of the beds in the bunk room was a bit deceiving as it says on the website that a double bed and bunks and trundle bed. But the double bed is only a king single which didn’t sleep a couple like we thought it did. We only had eight people but we had 3 couples. However we did manage but wanted to make you aware of how we felt.

Loved our stay😍

We loved our stay here, the house was beautiful aesthetically inside and out. The house was equipped with all amenities you need. The outdoor shower and filleting table/area was an added bonus☺️ We would definitely love to stay here again and hopefully longer next time. The host was amazing and had top communication. Relax in Matarangi

This was a fantastic week in Matarangi. The Bach was a lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and an amazing place to chill and relax. The beaches are within walking distance and places to eat are only a short drive away. We found this property was central to exploring the coromandel region too. We would definitely recommend others to come stay here.

Fantastic for our family of six. Everything we needed, modern and comfortable. Close to boat ramp. Great neighbours too who brought us crayfish! Would definitely stay again. So much to do in the area for families. We will be back. Thanks Sam. Awesome communication too.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We had a really lovely time in this Bach. All the amenities you’d need and close to everything. Great location for all the fab beaches nearby. Lots of houses and neighbours nearby but everyone was really nice and friendly, and kept to themselves. Really easy to communicate with property manager also :)

Well-equipped holiday house

Modern house with most amenities. Nice bathroom and good that there is a separate toilet with hand basin. Not near enough to the beach to walk. Be aware that you have to take your own bedding, towels, tea towels, dish cloths, soap, etc. Also there is no hair dryer.

Great holiday

We had a lovely time at Matarangi the bach was really well designed very clean and close to the boat ramp/Harbour. Communication with Sam was very easy and we felt it was excellent value for money.
