Our country home/lodge is nestled on several secluded acres of meadow and woodland. Our large field is home to wildflowers and wildlife. The large bay windows and large porch allow for the most relaxing atmosphere inside and out! The home has a full patio , along with a custom built fire pit and comfortable chairs surrounding.
*Gas grill, lawn games, and trail walk all complement a relaxing retreat to country living.
*Bicycle along through the Salem County farm country.
*Canoeing and kayaking in the Salem River.
*Horse back riding/ horse care can be arranged nearby.
*Cowtown Rodeo, one of the oldest rodeos in the country is just down the road as is the lovely Auburn Road Winery.

Wonderful getaway

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in the area and couldn’t have been happier.The home itself was well stocked with everything you could need to cook if you wanted and it was a nice touch that they supplied coffee and bottled water!Beds and furniture were all comfortable and the home was clean and beautifully decorated.But possibly the best part yet was the outdoor area. The large yard featured an outdoor fire pit which we were able to enjoy every night. It was a relaxing, peaceful stay and we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful private home!

The property was great for our family to get together for my neice's wedding. We were able to make dinner, play games and spend time on the porch. The property is beautifully furnished and very clean! I hope I have another chance to visit here in the future.

Weekend Getaway

Had a good time on our visit. Property was very accommodating and has many amenities. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the sunset and playing some pool and ping pong in the basement game room. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!!

Amazing and Accomodating

My family and I were in town for a graduation celebration! This place was amazing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a meal, a crib and baby toys kept my 18 month old occupied. We ran into an issue where there was a large amount of wasps that appeared, the owners sent someone right over to take care of the situation and everything was remedied within 30 minutes. These owners know what hospitality is! Will definitely be staying here if we are in the area again! Thank you for sharing your property!

Beautiful little house with a large secluded property. Firepit and gameroom in the basement are a great bonus. Would rent this property again for sure!

This house in the country was so beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything you would need. A very relaxing atmosphere, my family and friends had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the house and lots to do in the area! The owners are very easy to reach out to for any reason . Peaceful retreat

This was a beautiful and peaceful place for a girls weekend. We spent two fabulous evenings chatting by the fire pit. Just a great overall setting. The property was beautiful and perfectly appointed. John and Cheryl were wonderful hosts. Thank you!!

Our mini vacation to Jersey

The house was absolutely spectacular. We had a wonderful time staying there. Saw some wild turkeys, deer, and I believe a hoper right in the backyard of the house. The house is spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated as if your in the country. We did our best to leave it as clean as possible. If we ever come back that way, we hope we will be welcome to stay there again. It was absolutely fabulous there.

John and Cheryl are exceptional hosts. The home provided us with the relaxation we needed. Coffee with the deer and squirrels in the morning was a great way to start the day.

Even better than expected

A group of six adults stayed for three days, two nights. The lodge was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. It was lovely, cozy and well stocked for all our needs. The host was attentive and available with one text.

Private and Cozy

We had a wonderful few days stay at this very private and cozy house, it is very comfortable and has everything you need to feel like you are home. Hanging out in the back yard was very calming. There were does and bucks running in and out of the woods behind the house, so beautiful to watch. The host and hostess were very fast to respond to any questions we had. Wedding weekend

My husband and I got married in September and needed a home to rent for family in the area. There wasn’t many options as Elmer’s a small town. Just as we thought they would have to travel up north for a hotel we found this hidden gem! The owners were very nice and even called to let us know there would be the annual fall festival in town, warning us there could be traffic. It made my wedding truly special to have all my family members in the same house again. Would highly recommend as the home was very clean and had plenty of fun activities from the bonfire pit and yard games to the basement with pool and ping pong. Thank you again for making our wedding weekend so special!

My family and i enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was well designed, clean and family friendly. The hosts were very kind and accomodating. We traveled with a two year old as well as her grandparents and all were comfortable and enjoyed their stay, from the beautiful front porch to the game room and provided crib and activities. If ever in NJ, wod stay again.

Perfect Retreat

Always a great place to stay. Very comfortable home. Clean. Fun. The trail was fun to walk. The basement is great. Firepit is perfect at night. Love this place.
