Fabio was outstanding in assisting me; never experienced better. Check in was easy, however, it appeared that the place hadn't been occupied in quiets some time as it smelled stale. The apartment appearance was consistent with on-line photos. The bed was awesome, the air worked very well and the water was hot. On several occasions, roaches were crawling around and the mosquitoes were terrible as I am really allergic to their bite. The toilet was constantly running and often would not flush; had to pour sink water in to flush waste. The original safe did not work and the housekeeper had to remove one from another apartment. That's minor stuff and I was able to overcome it, however there was a dispute with property management regarding the electric bill. While I was made aware of the requirement by Fabio that I would be required to pay for electricity (which by the way, I did not have a problem with), I spoke to one of the property managers in which I was inquiring about being able to get an initial meter reading and he advised me , not to worry about that in that I did not need to pay for electricity, but to ensure that I turned off the A/C whenever I was leaving the property -- which I gladly adhered to. Upon checkout, the two ladies said that I needed to pay and that was when things went south a bit. Again, it was was my understanding from Fabio and also my intention to have to pay for electricity, however I wasn't afforded the opportunity to gain access to a reading of the meter upon check in. This is the only part that I was really uncomfortable with as I like transparency and I don't think that was the case in this matter. So, the amount was unimportant, it was more of the principal of not knowing.
