Clean bright and cosy private ROOM (one double bed, for 2 adult guests) on the first floor in a quiet neighbourhood of Kilnamanagh with lots of greenfields around and a short stroll to Tymon Park; free parking; short walk to the tram (Kingswood stop - 10 mins) and buses (27, 77A - 7 mins) and Kilnamanagh Dunnestore shopping centre (12 mins); 5 mins drive to M50, N81 for fast commuting in Dublin or intercities; 6 mins drive to TU Tallaght; 8 mins drive to the Square Shopping Centre Tallaght and Tallaght Hospital
- cold encounters with owners (no idea why, it was weird)- small house with multiple rented rooms- not allowed to flush toilet paper (place in trash bin, gross)- so organized that the owner restocked the dishes after I took them out of the dishwasher.- I left my sewing kit in the bedroom. I went to collect it days later, after scheduling my arrival. She wasn't there. Now she agreed to send me a sewing stuff (fits inside a business envelope) at the end of august (four weeks later) and charging me 2 euro. Not a comfortable place. (she -did- drive me to the Luas train when I was leaving.)
The room was clean and spacious and i was given full access to shower, kitchen and laundry. My only complaint is it was abit of a walk to public transport but everything else was wonderful
A nice and familiar place to explore and experience the city and more. Easy to reach from Luas in about 15 minutes. Many thanks for the wonderful time we had staying with you.
The room was comfy, clean and nice. The hosts were friendly, helpful and made good suggestions for our meals and transportation to various venues. I think this might be a challenge for most people who are over 70 and not particularly fit. Perhaps listing should mention that this includes a second floor stairway and transit to city requires a good walk.(the description of walk from the tram to the residence was 8 minutes - my husband and I are both over 75 and with luggage it took us over 30 minutes walk after a long travel day. Nonetheless Ngoc and Gordon are great hosts and with their 2 year old son Everett made us feel like family or close friends.
Swing and slide for toddlers and small organic garden at the back of the property Close to football pitches and big parks with lots of lakes and playgrounds Very quiet and greenery residential area with easy access to public transport to the airport/Dublin city centre/train station and close to Dublin motorway which will bring you to any other intercity highways to different parts of Ireland
