I sent rival a detailed demand letter the guard us they don't have access to open the gate. We would need to either wait for another guest to go through the gate or we can try to get around the electric gate and walk down the road to find our villa. We waited 55 minutes to get through the gate. Arriving at the villa, 30 steps to walk down, the security lock is confusing. Finally figured it. Once in the villa, the second bedroom air conditioner would not start. After contacting "Carlos" the host he sent a text suggesting we go on YouTube to figure out the issue. We ended up pulling a night stand to stand on and starting the air conditioner manually which then we couldn't turn off. The 2nd bedroom tv didn't have a remote so it couldn't be watched. We went grocery shopping since there aren't any places you can walk to for meals, and by day 3 all the refrigerated food had gone bad since the refrigerator door has a flap that must close or the frig doesn't keep cold temp. The kitchen oven didn't work either. There wasn't a toaster so I purchased one which Carlos said he would pay me for it but by that time it was not longer about the toaster. There isn't a cloths washer as stated in post. We went to use the pool since it was in the post & was told by security that the owners and host in Cluster 1 and 111 know guest cannot use the pool.Embarassing time! I left a 3 page complaint, no response. I am looking for a reimbursement for lost of time and food money. Post & pics deceiving.
