Stayed over Christmas to be near family

Lovely property and host was fantastic. Made contact early, gave clear instructions, left a number of little extras that made us feel welcome, and continued to check that everything was to our satisfaction.

River walker/runner

Lovely stay. Some nice little extras. Location is great, close to the city with some lovel river side walks and runs at the doorstep.

Home away from home

Lovely place had everything and more than what we needed. Close to city centre. Lots of lovely walks nearby. Owner was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay which we did immensely. Super comfy bed. Fantastic Amenities. Books to read, birds to watch in the garden out front. I will definitely come back here next time we're visiting our the little grandson living nearby. Thanks so much Jan ❤️

Perfect!

Place was cozy, clean, warm, well furnished, spacious and well position just a short walk from Claudelands park. Jan went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we could need. Cannot recommend Jan and this wonderful apartment enough. Thanks Jan!!

Excellent host and location

We had a fabulous stay at this house and Jan was a brilliant host. It was warm and cosy, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the extra bits in the fridge and the pantry. The coffee machine was awesome too. The location of this house is perfect. It is close to town and the river walks. Highly recommend to all.

Perfect place to stay in Hamilton

We travelled from the West Coast, USA. Hostess Jan is such a charming and friendly lady. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed the privacy and beautiful garden patio. It had everything we needed to feel like home. Thank you for your kindness and sharing your home.

Great location to stay for events at Globox/Claudelands Arena

A lovely, tidy, character filled apartment. We loved all the extra special touches. Easily walkable to Claudelands Arena which suited out needs perfectly. Host Jan was a pleasure to deal with and we look forward to staying again next time we are in Hamilton.

Gorgeous stay

A lovely wee spot. The whole unit was clean and crisp - lovely decor. Perfect for what we needed for two nights. Nice touches like coffee machine and lots of bits and pieces in cupboard and fridge.

Great stay

Wow, what a charming place. Absolutely gorgeous garden, lovely birds to watch, either outside or from the cosy sitting room. And everything, the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom surpassed expectations. Jan is a fantastic host, checking up on our preferences for commodities, making our stay very personal.

Everything was amazing!!!

Our stay at Jan's was excellent. The place was lovely and had everything we needed. Jan was welcoming, helpful and an all-round lovely host! It was easy to walk to town and the Claudelands Event Centre and we would definitely stay here again when we are next up this way.

Well kept, very clean and immaculate lovely little one bedroom cottage style unit, with extra single bed in the lounge. I looked forward to going to bed, it was so comfortable and cosy. Kitchen has every utensil you need to cook meals and also has a dishwasher. Milk, juice water and other foods were provided. Bathroom area very clean. The bird feeders are a bonus attraction to this place. This place is close to Hamilton city and other places of interest, approximately 15 minutes to Hamilton airport. Jan (owner) was also very helpful and kind. I think his place is probably worth a lot more than the price asked. Thank you Jan.

Cosy and homely.

Very comfortable and close to the city, yet very quiet. Jan, the hostess was lovely. It was a cold day when we arrived to find the room cosy and warm. Everything we needed was there. We highly recommend this property.

AMAZING/HOMELY/COMFORT

Jan was an exceptional host. The home was cosy/homely and very comfortable. Spotless/quite/lovely area. Jan added little extra touches like snacks an goodies. It has everything you need. The beds where amazing. Books for my son/Netflix/wifi. Even the shower was amazing. She really welcomed us an looked after us. It’s close to town. The coffee machine was great to.We will definitely stay here again when we return to Hamilton in the future. It was perfect thank you Jan😁

I keep coming back because it is such a lovely place to stay. In almost 11 years of travelling for my work around New Zealand, to Australia, and to Europe, Jan's place is the best :)
