We really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to get away from the everyday stresses of life and just relax. Our Host Graeme was such a wonderful friendly and helpful man. We loved listening to the stories and history of the property and area. All the people we met at the Gallery Cafe were friendly and interesting. Friday night curry night was great and we enjoyed some live music. Before we left we were treated to some great scones with jam and cream. It was hard to leave especially to leave our great host who even walked out with us and waved us off. Be mindful that the unit is under someone's home so there could be a little noise from upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our little bit of paradise and would recommend it.
Needs a few improvements
With a couple of additions it would be a very nice place. Pet friendly but not enclosed area for dog to run around, put in a gate and solve problem. Getting in and out shower dangerous needs a hand rail and non slip bath mat. Brighter lighting needed in lounge area, very dull. Garden could be tidied up.
Cute quaint cottage. Has everything you need. Very comfortable.
Like the property. Good space. Drawback for me is I prefer a secure outdoor space so that my dogs can toilet without me having to take them out on lead every time.
Stunning and cosy
Prayag is just the cutest and cosiest little place. The welcome can in abundance and enjoyed how everyThing was so clean and tidy!
We will definitely be back!
What a hidden gem! Spent 2 cosy nights in this little apartment, which is very dog friendly.
Graeme was a great host, who shared his knowledge (and freshly baked scones!) with us of the history of this fascinating old mill.
Happy you enjoyed this unique experience
Pleasant cottage stay.
Overall it was what was advertised. The main heating was a pot belly stove which I wasn't confident using so was a bit cold. The bed was also very hard. Great if you've got a dog.
We provide an electric heater as well as coonara wood fire and with the excellent insulation qualities of natural stone you should not have been cold. Some people like soft mattresses others like firm, we opted for a mid range hoping it would accomodate most guests.
