I have never stayed at a property where I wanted to give 5 stars but couldn't. This a great property but details matter. There were issues with the microwave, shower leaking, and the absence of toilet paper. Keeping that in mind, it was still a great stay. The staff was outstanding
We were so pleased with the apartment, and it was perfect for me as an American coming to Kenya on my own for the first time, not as part of a group. The apartment was just as described, very clean and comfortable. The security was excellent, and I felt comfortable walking to the store in the neighborhood. Although I did not have time to make use of the pool or gym, I am planning to return here and will make use of those amenities. Brian the property manager was very responsive and helpful - we needed to have the safe fixed and he came right over and took care of that. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well. And it was so nice to be able to cook some of our meals without having to eat out 3 times a day. I would definitely recommend this place, and have already made arrangements to stay here again when I return to Nairobi.
From an American perspective; I would choose this place over a hotel (ibis, best western, holiday inn) evwry time we come to Nairobi.
Being in the middle of town, i was concerned about safety and noise. The location is absolutely perfect. Close enough to walk to places, but far enough away from the traffic and the hustle. Besides a few doors closing, we heard nothing except birds. Seriously. Zero road noise. Zero night life (we were here on a Wednesday night and Thursday night). Uber was always less than 2 minutes away. Great restaurants and malls are a 200 shilling ride away. 360 Restaurant is a must (Pizza, chicken parm and fried mozzarella). Fogo de Gaucho also is close and really good (Brazillian style steak house).
The area is an older apartment complex, but it appears like its under new ownership and some of the buidings have been remodled. This apartment is in a newly renovated building and is very nice and very comfortable. The only downside is no A/C, fans, scrrens or nets. Every time we've been to Nairobi (Dec, June, Sept) it has been cool, so open windows was ok. We borrowed a fan from a friend.
Midnight check in and 4am check out is no problem.

Brian and Hutu in reception/front office were super welcoming and helpful. They made my week in this quiet location even more pleasant. The apartment was roomy and could easily accommodate two people. There was good cleaning every day and plenty of hot water for the shower -- a big point for me. Parking is plentiful.
Access to the middle of Nairobi Westland is right down Rhapta Rd which I usually walked but an Uber ride is a minute or two away. And it is only a short walk to a sizeable supermarket and another 100 years ot a very the very fine Artcaffee.
My stay was all together pleasant and unproblematic as well as being economijcal.
Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment.
