Une propriété bien situé et confortable pour les petits groupes et les familles, jusqu'à sept personnes. Quatre chambres et des lits confortables pour tout le monde. Belle salle de séjour ouverte avec de grandes fenêtres, à côté de la salle à manger et cuisine. Trois balcons, dans le salon, cuisine (vue sur la montagne Esja), et la chambre principale. Deux salles de bains, une douche. TV écran plat, Wifi et Internet haut débit, draps, linge de toilette inclus. Bus aucun 14 arrêts juste à l'extérieur, vous prendre le centre-ville en quelques minutes. A proximité: Laugardalur vallée, avec un centre de remise en forme Laugar Spa (Gym, piscine géothermique, massage, Joe & The Juice). Ceci est une propriété familiale avec un appartement séparé dans le sous-sol avec entrée séparée, habitée par une seule personne. Les propriétaires vivent dans une maison voisine. Great stay in Reykjavik!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful unique home. The amenities were as described and everything was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic and the bus to downtown Reykjavik was frequent and very easy to figure out for these first-time visitors. Thank you for a lovely visit!

The house was charming and perfect for us. Lots of character. Room for everyone. We thought we would take the bus places but ended up driving and we didn't find parking to be an issue. Nearby park/gardens that the kids enjoyed. Giant public pool nearby. It was a great choice for us.

Fantastic Reykjavík Home Base

We arrived and checked in at 3pm met by Johannes. We received a welcome and tour of the property to be sure we knew how to use everything- including recycling which was great!The rooms are all cozy and furnished nicely. Very homey and welcoming feel. Kitchen is completely stocked with all necessary equipment and the grocery store is conveniently close (we shopped at Bonus). It has a nice easy parking spot that is covered and right by the front door. The bathrooms are great and well stocked with towels and extra bedding. There is a washer/dryer in the master bath which we used several times for drying out clothing. Check out was easy. I highly recommend this property. It was close to everything we did (Downtown, Golden Circle, South Coast drive, The Harpa, etc..).

Had a wonderful stay. Quiet neighborhood with some things within walking distance, but downtown Reykjavik super close and a great location if you're doing day trips around the area.

I would equate the house to staying at grandmas house. Lots of space but definitely needs a deep cleaning. Found the house with no problems but there is no key box and it was a bit tricky getting into the place. He had to meet us to get the key. Very very smelly water but that is known in Reykjavík. Unfortunately it makes the whole house smell bad like sulfur. The only shower was actually disgusting. Lots of corrosion and black something on the adjustable shaft. My bed unfortunately smelled like very strong sweat therefore the sheets could not have been clean. Also make sure u are aware that the house is connected by stairs to the living area in the basement where the owner has access to your space anytime. We had no problems with this but I was still a bit uneasy with having young daughters. The gentleman that lived there was very kind but needs to hire a cleaning company and do some updates to the home. Very nice family but the home needs some cleaning

1 week in genuine mid-century modern

This house was a joy to stay in. A beautifully built genuine mid-century modern house with a great location. Easy access to downtown Reykjavik and highways made it convenient for all of our activities. The owner was pleasure to meet and work with for check-in and gave us a tour of the house. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent stay

My wife and I, along with two friends, spent a week. Accommodations were great and convenient to the city. Hosts were very helpful and we really enjoyed our visit and all of Iceland!

We will be booking this again!

Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. Me and my family were able to many meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, utilizing local meats and produce. We are all looking forward to the next visit we will make, and are sure to be booking this home again!

Perfect for our family; just as described

This home in a quiet residential neighborhood was perfect for my husband and me and our two adult children. Plenty of space to spread out; comfortable beds/bedding; ample towels, equipped kitchen; outdoor areas. Gorgeous views of harbor, mountains, glaciers, just a few minutes' drive to central Reykjavik. Johannes provided a gracious welcome and helpful information.

Wonderful last minute booking

this house was just what our family needed for a very last minute booking. The host went out of his way to make sure we have everything we needed, and gave us a personal tour of his family home. We felt very confident and comfortable staying here and really enjoyed being a little outside the city center. Overall a very relaxing stay with plenty of room for a family of five to spread out.

Fun, fun, fun

We were met at the door and welcomed by a song!! Very nice walking neighborhood. So close to the geothermal pool. Only 2 miles from central Reykjavik. We did an excursion in a different direction everyday.
