Historic cottage in a handy city location.
Filled with a lot of care and warmth from the people that own the cottage. A lovely place to stay with the family...including the dogs!
Beautiful, well maintained, dog friendly property.
The property is a beautiful, well maintained dog friendly property. The dogs and I throughly enjoyed our stay - with treats for both the human and the dogs.
Thank you Janelle, Thomas and Prada, it was a pleasure having you stay. Thank you for your lovely comments. Come back soon!
Cute, great location and best of all dog friendly
Appreciated the little things like the fresh flowers the home made jam and the dog treats.
Lovely cottage, well located and a friendly welcome to us and the dogs
Thank you Sue. Was lovely to have you and your family stay. Hope you're all enjoying the new arrival. Take care
Wow, stunning house, great hostess
Never been to Tassie before, indeed first time in Oz, and what a start. Beautiful house, stuffed full of little treasures. As soon as you walk in the door you know it’s special. Then you find the brekkie stuff and yummy banana loaf with fresh strawberries, fresh fruit and a fruit salad in the fridge. So welcoming, we’ve stayed in H/A places for 4 years and never had this before.
A gorgeous bedroom with four poster bed, lovely Knick knacks, and leaded light windows. Comfy lounge diner, where Fee had laid up the table beautifully for us. Small kitchen but, totally ok to cook brekkies in, and great shower over a stunning bath. Garden is quite big, and there’s a lovely sheltered bit for a beer when breezy. This is a tiny tiny thing, and we quite understand why it might not be viable, but, a bbq would’ve been great for one of our nights, tho I know from staying elsewhere you can’t trust people to clean them. The only reason we’d have liked one was to enjoy the cottage more, the weather was great and we didn’t really want to move. Having said that that restaurants in Noho and the waterfront are fab.
Fee is a fantastic host, we had a problem with our case that baggage handlers had busted and she helped us out finding a new one, and delivered more banana loaf afterwards!! Yumm!!
You cannot fault this as a base for MONA Mount Wellington Port Arthur and much more besides, we have scratched the surface and are already planning a return. Thank you Fee for a fantastic time in our first Tassie home.
Thank you Debbie and Geoff for your beautiful words, they are much appreciated! We're so glad your visit to Tassie was a memorable and happy one. I keep the electric bbq here at home as a couple of guests request using it but mostly it gathered dust there (and lack of space). Sorry I didn't think to ask in case some gorgeous English people would have wanted to use it!! Next time I'll be prepared....please come back anytime. Enjoy the rest of your trip and thank you again for staying. All the best. Fee
Beautiful, unique cottage with thoughtful touches
The cottage was beautiful and had lots of thoughtful touches. Fiona left a well stocked fridge for breakfast and we had everything we needed. The courtyard had lots of character and our dog loved exploring as we relaxed in the sun. Thank you for a wonderful stay Fiona :)
Thank you so much for staying and glad you both, and Ziggy, had a great time. Your lovely comments are very much appreciated.
