Niché dans un endroit idyllique, Achnaha est un endroit idéal pour la paix et la détente avec les rives du magnifique Loch Long à proximité .. Rez-de-chaussée:

Située dans le joli village d'Ardentinny, près des rives du Loch Long, cette maison de vacances indépendante d'un seul étage bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal pour explorer la péninsule de Cowal. La ville de Dunoon est facilement accessible et propose une bonne sélection de boutiques, de pubs et de restaurants. Il propose une grande variété d'activités de plein air telles que la voile, la pêche en mer, la planche à voile, des excursions en bateau semi-rigide, des quads, du tir à l'argile et plus encore. Les magnifiques jardins botaniques Benmore valent bien une visite et de nombreux chemins forestiers sont disponibles pour les promenades à pied ou à vélo. Des excursions sur le célèbre bateau à vapeur à aubes ’Waverley’ sont disponibles directement de la jetée de Dunoon jusqu’à 5 jours par semaine en saison, et sont fortement recommandées. Toute la région est imprégnée d'histoire et abrite une faune abondante: cerfs, loutres, aigles royaux, écureuils roux et dauphins sont souvent vus. Basé dans le parc national du Loch Lomond et des Trossachs, il existe de nombreuses sorties pour tous les âges! Magasinez 3 miles, pub et restaurant 500 yards.

Achnaha was a perfect cottage for us and the dogs.

Achnaha was a perfect cottage for us and the dogs. There was everything we needed and more. Being all on the one floor was a necessity for my partner and the secluded garden was a hit with the dogs. I would certainly recommend and would love to return.

Very pleasant, well kept cottage with thoughtful and helpful owners. A very quiet location with a large sheltered garden. It is also close to many forest walks and the beach. There is an excellent pub/restaurant in the village.

Beauty and tranquility

Ardentinny reposes between scenic loch and stunning rugged forest-covered hills. Peace abounds. Friendly pub overlooking the loch. Cottage was very comfortable and relaxing and everything was there that was needed.

Cottage was lovely .

Cottage was lovely ..long drive in on a single track road was the only downfall. The "midges " were awful but that's to be expected in Scotland in summer. The cottage itself was nice and comfy...the log burner was good we used it a couple of times as the weather was typical Scottish. Very relaxing time . One other problem. We had was the TV . .the Freesat box was intermittent I think this maybe had to do with the WiFi.

Had a great stay. Positives - only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, great location to access Argyll Forest Park sites and many lovely walks, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet/remote neighbourhood Negative - shower was shockingly bad, hardly any pressure and felt like you couldn't wash the shampoo/conditioner out of your hair. Absolutely loved our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay. Loved the cottage, its location and the extra little touches the owner had placed. Thank you for the bottle of wine the WiFi was brilliant, we were a bit unsure how that would be in Ardentinny but it didn't let us down. The only negative we would bring would be the shower needs to be updated, after a long walk in the rain, a power shower would have made our stay 10/10. Other than that we cannot fault our stay. The bed was really comfortable, slept like a log!! We saw lots of wildlife, including a red squirrel that made lunch of some bread thrown out for the birds!! Who cares about the rain when you can stay here!! Thank you very much.  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
