Elbow Cay properties is a very thoughtful organization, they picked us up at the ferry took and us back at the end of our stay. They werez very accommodating overall. Honeymoon Villa is an exceptional rental in town if you want an original island cottage that has been thoroughly updated and thoughtfully redone. It’s a few steps from a wonderful swimming beach. Sitting on the porch was so comfortable and the overall experience was surpassed our expectations. Definitely one of the best rental opportunities on elbow cay.

Clean, well appointed, close to beach, marina, market, restaurants, and shopping. property management staff is responsive and gracious. Could probably use an upgrade on the coffee maker and blender, but that is hardly any reason to downgrade this rental. As I have probably mentioned in previous reviews (third year in a row we have stayed here), the outdoor shower is a bonus. We would use it even if it were 40° F outside!

Love the location. It was great for two people! Would rent again! Also get groceries and adult beverages in marsh harbor. Much better selection. Markets limited on island.

Great Location

Great location in Hope Town. Looks to be an original home in the area. House was well appointed. Queen bedroom was up with winding stairs. We paid to use the washer/dryer since we were coming from another home on the island. Generator worked well, the island had rolling blacks out while we were there. AC was a bit of a struggle and had to make a call to get it looked at.

Honeymoon Villa was absolutely lovely! Beautifully renovated following hurricane Dorian. The villa was so comfortable, well laid out, perfect for one or two couples. A few steps up the hill and you have a panoramic view of the gorgeous beach. Take the stairs down to the beach. The pick up and return service of the rental company was great. They will guide you through when you need to get the ferry. Cap n Jacks has great grouper sandwiches. Sip Sip has great pizza. Don't miss the lighthouse.

Beautiful Honeymoon Villa Hopetown

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Honeymoon Villa for 12 nights in May 2023. Perfect location in the settlement of Hopetown. Walk over the hill, and beautiful secluded beach awaits. The Villa was equipped with everything needed for our stay. Be sure to rent Beach chairs and Umbrellas. The generator was not connected, but we never needed it during our stay. The queen bed is located in the loft upstairs. There is a narrow spiral staircase up to the loft. We enjoyed the front porch, but bug spray is needed. Wonderful vacation, for my husband and I. We will rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very well appointed, great location. Very close to beach access and settlement. House was very clean, with the floors being the exception - our feet were filthy if we went barefoot. They need to add a new frying pan or two. Note the washer and dryer are showing as amenities but after we booked we received notification to have access to them we would have to pay an additional $100. We opted to use the local laundromat for $14. Good restaurants on the island, you'll need to rent a golf cart to see the south side of the island. You can't have a golf cart in the settlement, but it's very walkable. I'd emailed the property mgmt office thru VRBO and asked several questions before our trip and never received a response. Yes, there is a hair dryer, beach towels and no there is not a cooler, beach chairs or umbrella - you'll have to rent those also. Buy groceries on the big island and take over on the ferry, buy water to drink it's not filtered. The property mgmt was helpful and friendly once we were there. We'd definitely go back.

Sounds like housekeeping used too much cleaning product when the mopped the floors. We will also address this issue. We look forward to hearing from you in the future.

It is right in the settlement near Vernons, Munchies and walkable to everywhere else. It's also right by the beach! The rental company picked us up when we arrived, showed us around our home and were super easy to work with. We will stay here again.
