The whole experience of booking and renting this property was excellent in all ways. The property provided everything thing we required. Perfect location with supermarkets and the beaches just a short walk away. Our stay did not disappoint and we will be back at sone point in the future.
First of all let me thank Marianthi for being so helpful and responsive. She is a perfect VRBO host!
Next let me say we fully enjoyed our nice relaxing breakfast (wonderful Greek yogurt/walnuts/honey and the toasted rolls she left for us â yum!) with the great view on the balcony overlooking Ammoudi Beach and the beautiful Mirabello Bay. It made for a relaxing start to each day we were there.
The Apartment has a wonderful restroom with a nice teak floor shower. The bedroom, with the same view as the balcony, is perfect for our 5 night stay. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed all the room appointments made available to us.
We used the washing machine twice, it ran perfectly. It was great to have that feature. The living room is exactly as advertised in the pictures, very nice relaxing space. We never used the TVs so have no experience with that feature, too much to do.
The 1K wall along the seawall to central city is very nice and quite level. Agri Nicholas is quite hilly but we opted to walk 2K twice to ENA Pizza Restaurant for their seafood. It was well attended by locals and we thought had the freshest restaurant seafood in town. AVLI Traverna was more upscale closer (less than 1K) to the apartment and arguably the most well established restaurant in town (had a wonderful outside terrace).
Lastly we parked on the street in front of the building and never was more than 50 meters from the Lobby of the building. Parking is on a hill but all of Crete is hilly and this should be anticipated, the hills make the place beautiful!
Thank you Marianthi â the apartment was easily one of the best VRBOâs we have experienced.
