Le chalet Fortuna 4 Penthouse est un appartement de vacances de luxe au 3ème étage avec des balcons orientés au sud et à l'ouest avec une vue panoramique magnifique sur la célèbre Jungfrau et les montagnes voisines. Il est situé dans le village familial sans voiture de Wengen. Il est à seulement 5 minutes (350 m) à pied de la gare de Wengen et à 450 m du téléphérique permettant d'accéder aux montagnes et aux domaines skiables à une courte distance!

Ce superbe appartement au dernier étage peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes:

Chambre 3 = lit double king-size

Salle de bain 1 = baignoire avec douche de tête et WC (en-suite)
Salle de bain 2 = douche et WC (en-suite)

La cuisine entièrement équipée s'ouvre sur les coins repas et salon avec une décoration moderne et élégante et un mobilier de haute qualité. Détendez-vous devant la cheminée centrale avec une boisson préférée après votre journée de ski ou de randonnée tout en profitant de la vue spectaculaire sur les montagnes à travers les fenêtres du sol au plafond.

Ce que vous devez savoir...

Bien que Wengen soit un village de montagne "sans voiture", arriver en voiture ne pose aucun problème. Il y a un grand parking à plusieurs étages à la gare de Lauterbrunnen, avec des chariots pour vos bagages et des ascenseurs jusqu'aux quais de la gare. Il s'agit d'un trajet de 14 minutes en train à crémaillère pittoresque jusqu'à Wengen. Les trains partent toutes les 30 minutes jusqu'à 21h30 puis toutes les heures. Des taxis sont disponibles à la location à la gare de Wengen si vous avez besoin d'aide pour votre chalet.

Pour ceux qui prévoient d'explorer la région de la Jungfrau, nous chez Wengen Apartments offrons la commodité d'acheter des billets en votre nom. Veuillez nous contacter avant votre arrivée pour organiser ce service.

Notez qu'il y a 3 chambres chacune avec un lit double king-size.

Gorgeous chalet with great views!

I never wanted to leave the Fortuna Chalet. The vaulted ceilings leading to an incredible alpine view, along with the modern kitchen and 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - our whole family felt so comfortable and woke up every morning delighted by the epic panorama surrounding us. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone! The owners obviously take great pride in their property and have done a wonderful job creating a welcoming, beautiful space.

Wonderful place with wonderful view

We enjoyed our stay in the Fortuna. Very clean and comfortable and the view was fantastic. It’s in a nice quiet and quaint area but only a few minutes walk from groceries, restaurants, and the train station. Every morning a group of goats with their jingly bells would walk into a field visible from the balcony. Well stocked kitchen. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful apartment

Lovely apartment, well designed throughout, with a very thorough and useful information folder supplied by the owner to help you find your way around the place. Superb views when the clouds lifted (sadly, not often during our week). Short, relatively flat walk to centre of town. Excellent communication and advice from agent Julie Doyle. Really needs a handrail down the length of the path from road to chalet - not just where there are steps.

A jewel in Wengen

A lovely three bedroom apartment , conveniently located to Coop and rail station. Beautiful Jungfrau mt. Views. High vaulted ceilings and fireplace , a nice addition. Spacious and beautiful. No elevator but the steps are gradual. The reclining chairs seem to be broken on balcony. Many non stick pans were scratched, requested and got one new one. Well appointed unit.

Beautiful and convenient

The Fortuna 4 was everything we hoped for. Beautiful balconies. Large kitchen for 2 chefs. Beds firm and comfortable. Easy, quick walk to Coop and train. Spacious laundry room in building that I wish we had taken advantage of before downsizing to a smaller apt. I am surprised a previous reviewer mentioned lack of a lift because the stairs were such that they were very easy to navigate even with luggage. Highly recommend this apt!!

Special holiday

We had a fantastic holiday in Wengen. It's a very special place. The views from this apartment are brilliant. The location is a short walk from the village centre so you don't hear the bars in the evening, but you are close to everything. The apartment is clean and spacious and there are two generous balconies with fantastic views. We were there in a hot spell in summer and it was easy to keep the flat cool.

Wonderful Christmas

A quick note to thank Julie and the team for helping us experience a magical Christmas week in beautiful Wengen. The apartment is fully fitted with everything an adventurous chef might need and super cosy for a family of 4. A lift! - only joking.

Tolle Unterkunft an traumhafter Lage

Chalet fortuna lived up to its luxurious title. The quality of fittings along with the space within the the chalet were much appreciated, not to mention the stunning views of the mountains. The correspondence we recieved from wengen apartments was excellent. An altogether fantastic holiday.

Lovely flat, perfect location, fantastic view!

The flat was lovely and very tastefully furnished. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room was the best feature, with amazing, unobstructed views of the mountains. Location was perfect as well, 5 min easy walk from station, supermarket, cable car. Wengen is a charming village with all new developments carefully constructed to maintain the village’s character. Booking and communication with Julie was absolutely perfect, leaving no doubts or questions unanswered. Really, very well done!

Beautiful property in a beautiful setting

Chalet Fortuna is a fantastic property located in a spectacular area. The home is very comfortable for relaxing and perfectly located for Swiss Mountain adventures. Julie from Swiss maid services was a great resource and a big help making our stay extra pleasant.

Exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful apartment with spectacular views! Within walking distance of village shops and train station. We stayed for 5 days and wished we had booked it for all 12 days of our stay in Switzerland! It's central location makes it convenient for day trips throughout the country. Wonderful place for those traveling with family or those who dread the confinement of hotel rooms. A modern kitchen outfitted with everything you need for preparing meals and even access to a washer and dryer in the basement of the chalet. Not a good choice for those with limited mobility as it is on the top floor and there isn't an elevator.

Stunning

This is one of the best properties that we have rented over the years. Everything was first class within the apartment itself. The views are stunning. The apartment is in a quiet part of Wengen but it is very easy to access transport, food etc. We did everything by train from the airport to travelling locally and it was so easy, buy a Swiss rail pass though as it saves a lot of money. We bought the flex pass. Would recommend the apartment and area to everyone!

FANTASTIC!

Not sure why there are not more reviews for this spectacular chalet. Maybe all the folks who have stayed there want to keep it a secret? The guest book at the chalet is filled with page after page of glowing reviews -- I added mine to it. No expense was spared in constructing or furnishing this chalet. Sparkling clean, top of the line furniture and kitchen appliances, wonderful linens, incredible views, very comfortable, great location, very quiet, well designed/constructed and laundry in the basement. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Six of stayed for 4 nights. Plenty of space to not feel on top of one another. Great balconies to sip your morning tea and look out over the alps. I miss being there and can't wait to return.

We loved the apartment and Wengen!

The apartment has everything promised and more. I manage a vacation rental company on the Island of Kauai and this vacation rental is very special. We loved the fireplace, the view, the very comfortable beds, having three bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Julie was very helpful. Waking up in the morning and watching the light dance on the Alps while drinking a cup of coffee is amazing. We enjoyed Wengen very much and it has so much beautiful scenery, wonderful restaurants and a wide variety of walks in the area. We bought a four day train pass and were so glad because it got us out of Wengen which is very hard leave because of the beauty of the village. We'll be back one day. :)

incredible views and well appointed apt

We visited Wengen for 5 nights and wish we were there MUCH longer. The pictures do not do this apt. justice--truly amazing views and the interior is extremely well done. The modern furniture is not only handsome but also comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the grocery is very nearby. We ate in many meals because we couldn't stand to be away from the beautiful views. There were DVDs, ipods, wifi, and games which kept us (husband and teen daughters) entertained after day of hiking. Julie, the property manager, was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this property! We wish we were still there...
