This was a great home to stay in with our family. Being in a country we have never been to we didnât know what to expect, it was great, we felt very safe. It was a quick walk to the beech. Close to many food options, and there is a little mini market just outside of the home that we went to daily.
The host was great, he met us at the house when we first arrived to show us how things work, that was very helpful. He was very responsive when we had a question.
My only thing I would tell future renters is to not take the road by the auto rental to get to the home, going that way you have to drive straight up on a very tiny road and itâs not easy.
Overall very good home and we enjoyed our time there.
From the onset the owners were very helpful, answered every email promptly and even left us biscuits , pastries and water which was a nice touch, they met us at night due to the late flight and even came and found me when I got lost finding my way there.
The apartment has everything you need and is very modern.
You can park right outside but the only downside for me was the very steep hill which is your walk into the town for the bars and restaurants.
There is a supermarket one minute walk from the apartment.
And It was nice to sit outside and look at the lovely view.
Over all a lovely apartment which I would definitely recommend.
Pavlos and Roumpini were there for every question and provides all information we needed for our arrival and stay. The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped. It is a short walk down hill to the main street with many restaurants, beach access and bus stop and markets.parking for our rental car was easy. We drove to kissamos for the Balos lagoon boat ride. Its 30 minutes away. Downtown Chania is 15 to 20 minutes away. The beach was sandy and you can get a lounge chair and umbrella from a waterfront cafe for free if you eat something there. We recommend staying here.
