Amazing House

Held a hen party for 23 and it was the perfect home for it. We all had a fabulous weekend and cannot speak highly enough of the hosts. Very responsive to queries prior to the weekend, as well as providing an obscene amount of snacks and fizz on arrival. Highly recommend.

Totally Amazing

There was a large group of us for a 70th Birthday. On arrival the house was amazing and only got better over the weekend. Plenty of space, boogie room and karaoke was so much fun. Lounge big enough to accommodate us all for games. Will definitely be back

Golden Wedding Family Celebration

A beautiful house with very welcoming hosts. Lovely setting, and easily big enough for 16 adults with four children and three dogs. A wonderful place for a celebration.

Property was amazing. Photos on VRBO do not do the house justice. We did not expect the large communal areas. the welcome package was amazing. will 100% be using this again next year. very well equipped.

40th Birthday Celebrations

We had an amazing stay at Telford Manor for my wife’s 40th birthday party. Tam and Christine were great hosts, always happy to answer any questions and left a lovely welcome hamper of sweets, cakes, Prosecco and also set up some birthday banners.The place itself was massive and well equipped for a large group gathering, it had all the amenities required, the kitchens were well stocked and all the bedrooms were lovely.We all loved the party room with the karaoke machine Great location, easy to locate and only a 5 min drive into Moffat.A big thank you to Tam and Christine for your hospitality and for making us all feel welcome, we hope to return again soon

Family fun

Lovely house. Chris is lovely. Moffat is really nice. Wish there was a book about the house though and that the windows could open. It was just what we wanted in a holiday home though. Great.

Fantastic stay!

A group of us stayed here for our annual get together and it was great. House was clean and warm. Plenty of cooking facilities with 2 kitchens and both well equipped. Welcome pack left from the owners was amazing! Lots of lovely treats and they even got all the kids Easter eggs because we stayed Easter weekend. Owners were lovely and went over and above for us. Thank you 😊

I arranged the hire of the house for a surprise 50th birthday weekend for my husband and the welcome package with birthday cakes was so kind and unexpected, such a lovely personal touch and very much appreciated by all!! 80th Birthday & family holiday

We came from all around the country and from Malta to celebrate our mum's, grandma, great grandma's birthday. The house was great for a large party of people of different ages. Plenty of room to spread out. The welcome pack was fantastic and it took us all week to get through it. The family had a great week.

Great large family location

26 family members from 5 different countries spent 4 wonderful nights celebrating 4 special birthdays. The accommodation was just right for our needs. The children loved the space. The adults enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect and celebrate. Lots to see and do nearby. We were lucky with the weather and couldn't have asked for more. The owners provided a very generous welcome pack more than we've had at other locations. The property and location made the get together complete.

Fantastic Stay!

We hired the house to celebrate my 60th birthday and invited friends and family from England and family from Edinburgh. The location was perfect and a short walk into Moffat. All our guessed were blown away with the house and history. Our hosts Chris and Tam were brilliant and ensured we enjoyed our stay. The spread set up for my birthday was superb and we simply could ask for better hosts. The weekend was amazing and the house was so roomy and confortable. Happy Hen Party

What an amazing weekend we have just had, thank you for the warm welcome Chris and Tam. We walked in to an amazing welcome pack, the home made cakes were delicious! The house was on another level, it was so big, cosy and spacious. Enough room for 15 of us with more to spare. If that wasn’t enough we had amazing wether, coupled with bbq and karaoke what more could we want! I’m sure we’re already planning our return next year! Thanks again Lisa.

Review

Great size for large parties. Garden technically enclosed by small wall but not secure for small children and pets. Wifi not good. Found various items of clothing and left over party accessories behind furniture so clearly not a thorough clean. Had to wash dishes and cutlery before use. Generous welcome pack with cakes, crisps and chocolates but maybe more practical things like milk would have been better. No key safe for keys and only 1 set left so a bit inconvenient for large parties who wish to go out separately. Overall helpful owners and a pleasant stay but improvements could be made.

40th Birthday Weekend

Fantastic weekend spent with Family and Friends celebrating my husbands 40th Birthday. The house is massive and had plenty of room and amenities for everyone.Massive thank you to Chris for organising all of the birthday banners, balloons, cakes , sweets, crisps and welcome packs. Those extra touches made all the difference. It really was a great spot for celebrating with 20 of our nearest and dearest. We all took a walk to the local pub for a big lunch. We booked the large space and pre ordered our meals and the service and food was great. Highly recommend the steak and black pudding pie. Perfwct

Fab venue for big groups

We had a wonderful family gathering here. The hosts left us the most amazing welcome package. Oodles of fridges and freezers. Big lounge with comfy seats for socialising and great dining kitchen for everyone. Would definitely book again
