La propriété individuelle compacte est située à l'extrémité d'une voie fermée. Il y a un parking disponible et un jardin avec une terrasse en pierre avec pavillon avec véranda vitrée et mobilier de jardin. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend un salon / salle à manger et une cuisine combinés avec un poêle à bois dans le salon. Il y a une chambre double et une salle de bains au rez-de-chaussée et une chambre lits jumeaux au 1er étage ouvrant directement sur les escaliers et une salle d'eau privative. Le chalet est adjacent à une bride et entouré d'arbres matures et d'un jardin. C'est l'endroit idéal pour explorer le Pays de Galles et le Shropshire avec de nombreux sites d'intérêt facilement accessibles en voiture, beaucoup offrant de superbes promenades pittoresques et des pistes cyclables. Il y a un magasin de vélos sécurisé. Le jardin non clôturé le rend impropre aux chiens.

30.10.2016 Excellent séjour, accueil très chaleureux et le gite tès fonctionnel

Après avoir réserver par hasard le gite N° 8165238 pour un petit séjour au pays de Galles, nous n'avons eu aucun regret. L'accueil des propriétaires Andrew et Mary est chaleureux, ils vous mettent à l'aise, parle français, et surtout se rendent disponibles pour satisfaire nos demandes. Quand au logis, c'est petit et grand à la fois, facile d'entretien, très confortable et fonctionnel. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce bref séjour et nous recommandons vivement cette adresse. Merci aux propriétaires, 4 normands enthousiasmés .

From the very first moment I sat on the porch of the cottage, time seemed to pause. Hours passed unnoticed as I simply breathed—deep, cleansing breaths of cool fresh air my lungs had been quietly craving for days. The world around me was perfectly still, hushed in a way that felt sacred. All I wanted was to sit, unmoving, and let the serenity wrap itself around me.The view before me was breathtaking in its simplicity: rolling hills, endless skies, and that golden early sunlight brushing softly against my skin. The scent of fresh morning coffee drifted up like a gentle echo of comfort, grounding me in the moment.And then there's the cottage itself—an experience all its own. More than just a place to stay, it radiated warmth and intention. Every element, from the plush throws over the armchairs to the stack of books on the shelf, felt like a loving gesture. It was as if the space had been prepared not just to meet your needs, but to anticipate the ones you didn’t know you had. The fireplace waited patiently to be lit, and little details—thoughtful, charming—made the whole place feel genuinely cared for.It’s rare to find a space where your entire being—body, mind, and soul—can finally exhale. This was one of those rare places. Nothing flashy, nothing loud, just... right. A quiet kind of perfection that lingers long after you leave.

Relaxing break away from the hustle

This accommodation was perfect for my friend and I as there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms.Everything was spotlessly clean and in good condition.The beds were comfortable and everything was provided that we could possibly need.We both said we would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would love to stay again.

This property was beautiful.Everything inside and outside was perfect for our little family of 4 with our little dog.The garden was stunning. The vuews were breathtaking and the property itself was so clean and comfortable, it was a real treat!

Restore, Rejuvenate, Take in the Beautiful of Nature & People

This picture of the rock house and description of the area made us create our trip from Arizona to include a stay here while in Wales. It did not disappoint. We had the best experience with the hosts, the surrounding neighborhood towns, and just being present in nature. Our stay was in the middle of a two week trip and we needed the down time to relax. The hosts made us feel so welcome and were enjoyable!!!! I highly recommend this site if you are looking for long walks, the sound of sheep and cows in the distant with 360 degrees of natural beauty no matter where you look.

Well-appointed cottage in peaceful location

What a wonderful location, and such a well-presented property with the owners across the lane should any advice be needed. The cottage had everything we wanted, very well equipped, with bedroom and bathroom upstairs and one downstairs and a surprisingly generous garden in which to relax as well. A great place to stop for a few days peace and quiet, thank you for letting us share your space.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings

The cottage is lovely with beautiful garden and surroundings. The hosts are very friendly and have put a lot of thought into making the cottage clean, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It is so peaceful with beautiful scenery and lovely countryside. There is a small but adequate open plan kitchen with dishwasher and small sitting room with 2 larger bedrooms. Bathroom with bath on the ground floor and the twin bedroom on the first floor has ensuite shower room. Outside is a beautiful garden with lots of plants, shrubs and trees with a terrace with table and seats. The shed has washing machine and a tumble dryer with clothes airer for outside if nice weather. Also charging point for electric vehicles. Would love to stay there again as so nice.

Cottage with a view

We had a great weekend, the cottage was ideal for us, as away for a family wedding at Barnutopia. It is equipped with everything you need, and the owner lives next door, if there is anything else you require. The views were breathtaking, but the roads are not for the faint hearted!!

Recently stayed here for 5 days with family and our sausage dog. House is clean and well thought of. Situated in a quiet place, easy to relax after our sightseeing and days out. Hosts are approachable and friendly. Glad I chose this cottage.

Lovely cottage and garden.

From clear instructions on how to travel our visit was very enjoyable. Friendly informative owners. A nice welcome pack - milk, bara brith, and a large bottle of cold water in the fridge was most welcome on such hot day! Everything needed for an enjoyable a lovely stay, well equipped and comfy beds. Fresh flowers - such a nice touch.. The garden was a pleasure with the lovely planting and various areas to sit. Great views, quiet, except for birdsong ;-). The cottage is well situated to visit lots of places. We went to Lake Vyrnwy and Bala, where we ate fish and chips by the lake. Also Chirk Castle with the lovely gardens is worth a visit. We would love to return and would highly recommend.

Lovely countryside cottage in a beautiful setting!

A relaxing hidden gem.

As described a quiet relaxing getaway, all we could hear were birds and sheep. Everything very well thought out, nothing missing in this cosy property. Owners very friendly and there if needed.

The tranquil rural surroundings provide a peaceful place to stay with its unspoiled views of the area around Llansilin. There are many places both sides of the English / Welsh Border.to explore with easy access to the lakes around Ellesmere, and places of interest such as Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Chirk and Llangollen. There are also biking trails in the area such as near Llandegla where there is a visitors centre and good facilities.

This traditionally built stone cottage, built 2012, is located in a tranquil garden. The location combines access to sporting activities, like fishing, biking or walking. with a peaceful rural location The terrace has a glazed veranda and offers a pleasant place to relax . The property, located approximately 7 miles from Oswestry across the Welsh border, is 1 mile outside the village of Llansilin, up a single track gated lane. The locality is the historic home of Owyn Glyndwr. The site of his castle is nearby.
