We loved our stay. The villa was beautiful and the views absolutely stunning. A fabulous place to get away and we will definitely be back one day! Thank you
This was a perfect villa, even better than the pictures with a fantastic large pool, beautiful outside sitting areas and even English plugs, perfect plumbing, a bathtub and filtered drinking water! Exceptional !
A well laid out villa with plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. Surrounded by olive tree fiilled valleys and beautiful vistas out to sea. And of course, the gentle chirring of cicadas.
Lovely House with spectacular views over northern coast
Beautiful villa which is well maintained and looked after. Lovely situation at the top of the hill overlooking the coast, about 10 mins drive from restaurants and bars.

schitterend uitzicht, sublieme ligging, goed verzorgd en erg attente ondersteuning door "George".
zwembadverwarming is echter meer naam dan daad. Je moet tegen de kou kunnen. Afhankelijk van de zon.
Chose this villa as we were treating our children and their partners so wanted space and seperate bathrooms. It was ideal. It was so roomy nobody ever felt they were cramped or on top of each other. It was marvellously equipped , as good as at home so no compromising. Didn't discover the washing machine til mid way through the week but was useful to do a wash then. Was unsure whether we'd need to buy tablets for this or dishwasher but all supplied.. also not told there would be hair dryers but each room had one. Include that in the info save taking your own . Pool was super. Big enough for lengths and for several large people to mess around together. Nearest shops expensive and limited range but larger supermarkets bit of a long drive when only there for a week so made do with the nearest ones. We holidayed in September and there were lots of hornets around due to the grape vine on the terrace I believe. These freaked out one member of our party to begin with..However they were the best behaved hornets I've ever seen. Nobody had any trouble with them and they would just come to the pool for a drink and fly off. All in all a beautiful place great facilities. Would highly recommend
This is the second time our family has stayed at the villa. The improvements the owners have made are lovely, particularly one of the bedrooms.
This holiday was for my eightieth birthday and I cannot think of anywhere I would have rather been to celebrate it.
The people who look after the villa were so good, nothing was too much trouble for them.
There are some really nice restaurants in the area, and we found a lovely place to eat at Agios Leon, well worth visiting.
I could go on forever, but the best thing to do is stay at the villa and see for yourselves.
beautiful villa, pool, grounds...with over 90 metres of terrace overlooking the valley and sea. very well equipped and excellently maintained with any queries instantly sorted by the extremely genial and efficient local 'manager' Giorgos. it feels very private as it is not overlooked by any other property. a lovely variety of outside 'spaces' so you can lounge by the pool, swing in the hammock under olive trees, sit at the large, shaded wooden terrace table etc etc, We have stayed in many villas and this was our favourite.
The owners have excellent taste!
This is a gem. It is set up the hill from pretty little harbour and you have fabulous views from the terrace and even when you are swimming in the infinity pool. The pool is heated, which was a treat ... Others we met at other villas were not as lucky!
The house is well equipped but don't eat in too often as there are excellent tavernas by the harbour and along the coastline, which are reasonably priced. We were tempted to do a "Shirley Valentine" and stay forever. If you are looking for a villa in Zakinthos, look no further - you will not be disappointed.
This is one fantastic holiday home. We love that it is fairly recently built but has the look of a traditional Greek farmhouse but with all mod cons (flyscreens, (almost) silent air-conditioning, ice machine fridge etc). We love it so much that we have now visited three times. Each time it is harder to tear ourselves away. The views are simply breath-taking and the air is so fresh you feel it is like a drink. It is in the more remote North part of the island where it is like time has stood still for the past 40 years. Locals are so friendly and restaurants still offer free local dishes, homemade desserts and drinks. Coming from London one forgets what real silence is like - only tinkling goat bells, the sound of the wind in the olive trees and the cry of a circling hunting bird. Life here is so relaxed. The only decisions are whether to stay at "home" and have a bbq or go to one of several very good and very cheap restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Many restaurants offer a collection service to and from their restaurant. Perhaps one of our favourites was the "Shirley Valentine" type beach-side restaurant La Storia down at the port or the charming home-cooking of the little cafe just above "secret beach" on the other side of the harbour. We love taking a boat trip out to the famous "blue caves" and swimming in private coves discovering hidden caves where the water is phosphorescent. Driving is a real pleasure with almost no other vehicles; the only concern is bumping into a goat herd! Time has stood still here - it is just a shame that the holidays don't go at the same pace! We cannot wait to return.

My husband, Lance and I visited the island for the first time in 2013 and were completely captivated by the rural charm, amazing light and friendly people. We were so lucky to have the opportunity to buy Paliostafitha and are really looking forward to sharing it with our guests. As this will be our second home we are making it as comfortable and luxurious as possible with everything that we would want and we hope that you will enjoy the improvements that we have made. A full range of outdoor furniture offers the chance to sunbathe or read a book by the pool or swing in the hammock beneath the old olive trees. Alternatively, sink into the rattan chairs to enjoy a glass of wine. The choice is yours!
We visited the island for a short break during the summer of 2013 and heard that Paliostafitha was coming on to the market. The house and garden offered everything we were looking for and we are really excited about spending more time out there and offering our guests a memorable holiday in this charming part of the island. If you are seeking a lively clubbing night life this is not for you, but if you enjoy the wonderful variety of tavernas, relaxing by the pool or in the shaded garden and trips to Shipwreck Bay or the Blue Caves, this is the perfect base.
Paliostafitha is blessed by the most amazing location, high enough to enjoy the cooling breezes with panoramic views of the sea and the island. It is five minutes away from the local fishing village and the Peligoni club, and a short distance away from many local tavernas. The mature garden offers peace and solitude and is not overlooked. The house is spacious enough for large parties and the pool is well situated with fantastic views and shaded terraces nearby. It is heated and has a child-proof cover. All the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. We sleep 8 in comfort but can cope with an extra small child. The house has satellite internet, European lavatory plumbing, air-conditioning and mosquito blinds.
