A Puntos est une ferme traditionnelle française avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne, piscine privée chauffée et un four à pizza au feu de bois tous ensemble dans un trÚs grand jardin paysager.

InstallĂ© Ă  l'orĂ©e du hameau endormi du Mont de Marrast dans le Gers, l'Ă©tablissement A Puntos est une ferme gasconne modernisĂ©e qui conserve de nombreux Ă©lĂ©ments d'origine tels que des poutres en chĂȘne, des planchers, des tomettes et des cheminĂ©es.

La propriĂ©tĂ© est accessible par une longue allĂ©e privĂ©e et situĂ© dans 2. 5 hectares de jardins. Faisant face au sud et sur une crĂȘte, la maison et la piscine se dorent sous un soleil radieux et offrent une vue imprenable sur les PyrĂ©nĂ©es.

L'utilisation exclusive de la piscine de 10 x 5 mĂštres, avec des marches romaines, est entourĂ©e d'une zone pavĂ©e avec 8 chaises longues. Il y a aussi une pergola ombragĂ©e avec un coin salon en rotin oĂč vous pouvez vous rafraĂźchir, prendre un verre ou simplement vous asseoir, vous dĂ©tendre et profiter de la paix et la tranquillitĂ©. Chauffage de la piscine a Ă©tĂ© installĂ©, comme avec une alarme de la piscine et il y a une couverture thermique pour garder la piscine au chaud la nuit. En raison de l'absence de pollution lumineuse, c'est aussi un endroit favori pour observer les Ă©toiles aprĂšs la tombĂ©e de la nuit.

A Puntos a une terrasse couverte avec des siÚges pour 8 qui est accessible par des portes françaises de la cuisine. Il est surélevé au-dessus du jardin, ombragé par un magnifique noyer et a vue sur les montagnes. C'est parfait pour un petit déjeuner ensoleillé ou un déjeuner ou un dßner plus ombragé avec des amis et la famille.

La cuisine a une grande table française traditionnelle avec des siĂšges pour 8 et est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un haut niveau avec poĂȘle Ă  bois Rayburn, four sĂ©parĂ© et cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur amĂ©ricain et une grande machine Ă  laver. Il y a aussi un jardin d'herbes aromatiques, un four Ă  pizza au feu de bois, un grand barbecue Webber et une autre salle Ă  manger extĂ©rieure.

Le salon a un dock Bose Sound et 45 pouces smart TV Panasonic, Freesat britannique, lecteur DVD et un grand brûleur de bûches. Internet a assez de bande passante pour diffuser facilement des films UHD sur Netflix ou Amazon Prime. Il y a aussi une grande sélection de livres, DVD et jeux disponibles qui comprend un jeu de pétanque en plein air.

Il y a 4 chambres confortables, spacieuses et bien équipées (1 lit king, 2 lits doubles et une twin) ainsi que des salles de bains modernisées à chaque étage, dont une avec une grande salle de douche.

Amazing property, beautiful location, faultless!

This property is in the most beautiful location with amazing views of the Pyrenees. The house was also perfect with everything you would need home from home. Cannot fault our stay, we even had lunch in Spain which is only 1hr 30min away. Stunning location, stunning house, highly recommend!

Wonderfully positioned tidy farm house

We were made to feel very welcome and loved being surrounded by the views of the Pyrenees. The farmhouse was very clean and tidy and had all mod cons. Swimming pool was a delight and all the surrounding area was kept in great order. We travelled around and also spent days by the pool. Graeme was a big help in what to do in the surrounding area and if we did not go out the farm house was extremely peaceful. Many thanks

Beautiful farmhouse in rural France

What a fabulous find in rural France! A stunning French farmhouse with views to die for! Ideal size for a large family and immaculately clean and tidy. Breakfast on the terrace eating freshly baked bread and croissants from the local village was exactly how I pictured myself spending my mornings in this little piece of paradise. Lazy afternoons spent by the beautiful pool was bliss! Lovely restaurants for dinner were never too hard find, only a short drive away. The perfect getaway for a peaceful and relaxing break!! Will definitely be returning!

Perfect

Many times in the past we have been disappointed on arrival at a house that has sounded perfect in the advertising, but not this time. For us this was the perfect spot. It is a beautifully appointed house in a wonderful position. Lying by the pool in complete silence looking out across farmland to the Pyrenees, is all we did and all that we wanted to do. There is, of course, plenty of good eating in the pretty villages around - Marciac and Bassoues, for example - and the usual excellent markets for various foods. The house is very well equipped with every gadget and device - good dishwasher, good washing machine, good TV, good lighting and excellent bathrooms. Outside there is a beautiful pool with high quality pool furniture all set in a large garden. What more can I say?

Beautiful fortnight stay at A Puntos

We spent a fantastic 2 weeks at A Puntos. The house, gardens, views and pool were incredible and were a wonderful base for our stay. We were 2 families with 4 young children between us.Graeme and Kirsty were very accommodating and communication was brilliant and very helpful. The house is very well equipped (though maybe a few more plastic glasses, plates and bowls would be good with kids in mind) and the Decor etc has obviously been done with lots of love and care. It really felt like a home from home. Location wise it is a bit further of a drive than we’re used to but all well worth it. The local village was also only 10min drive And really lovely. They had a summer fair on while we were there which the kids loved. We Did canoeing in mirande, a visit to peak du midi, some road cycling in the Pyrenees and visited the animal park near Lourdes which was a big hit with the kids. Such was beautiful and the jazz festival in Marcia’s was fun too. So lots to do and see as well as being able to enjoy lazy days soaking up the sun and views by the pool. Thank you Graeme and Kirsty for a fantastic holiday.

Wonderful stay

Graeme and Kirsty met us upon arrival with a very warm welcome and were so very helpful throughout our stay. Normally we prefer to be away from neighbours on our holiday stays but on this occasion it worked beautifully as Graeme and Kirsty were great fun and we thoroughly enjoyed their company, and if you want peace and quite, as we usually do, you wouldn't ever be disturbed, so all good. The house is very nice with fantastic old features including the huge ceiling beams and the wonderful oak floorboards plus fireplace and stove in the lounge . Comfortable and clean the house is well cared for with all the amenities needed plus satellite TV. Beds are comfy and all the sheets etc are top quality. The outside grounds are extensive with good garden areas and large in-ground pool big enough to swim properly. And such wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and of course the majestic Pyrenees, which are visible from the house and gardens. All in all we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the views, house and peace and tranquility. Thank you Graeme and Kirsty for making our stay so enjoyable.

De belles vacances familiales dans une belle maison de campagne

Nous avons passé de trÚs bonnes vacances familiales ce mois d'août. La maison correspond fidÚlement aux photos publiées. Située bien au calme avec une vue magnifique. La maison est par ailleurs trÚs bien équipée (bonne litterie, parasols, outils de cuisine, tv, internet, bbq, ...). Last but not least, les propriétaires sont trÚs sympathiques !

Wonderful family holiday

The farmhouse is beautifully renovated, the kitchen is well equipped, all mod-cons, great wifi. The pool is fantastic! The location is relatively remote, in a peaceful spot nestled between two very small villages. The local town (Tries) has everything you need for daily essentials, butcher, bakers, grocers, plus an Intermarche. For larger supermarkets (hypermarkets), various options are further afield near Auch or Tarbes. Grand Frais in Tarbes was fun. There are plenty of fantastic local markets, we enjoyed Mirande and the huge market at Lannemezan, which also seems to have some good restaurant options. Marciac is a beautiful town, and a must when the Jazz festival is on, there's lots to see and free music in the main square and a few other locations in town. We enjoyed some trips to the nearby Castelnau-Magnoac which has a good little market, a reservoir with pedalos (about 5km walk around it), and a fantastic bakery/patisserie La P'tite Boheme We made a couple of day trips to the Pyrenees, although most destinations in the mountains are a couple of hours drive each way. Graeme and Kirsty stay next door (next house along) and were never intrusive but were available to help when we needed it, and have a wealth of local knowledge to share. Thanks both for helping make it an awesome and memorable holiday for all of us!

Nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour à Mont-de-Marrast entre amis. La maison convient bien à 2 couples avec enfants. La maison est trÚs agréable, le terrain avec la piscine est trÚs bien aménagé avec une vue superbe sur les Pyrénées (par beau temps). Graeme était trÚs disponible, accueillant et attentionné pendant toute la durée de notre séjour.

La maison est fidÚle à la description qui en a été faite. Les hÎtes sont charmants, discrets, et entretiennent le jardin et la piscine pendant que tout le monde dort encore. La literie est excellente, les salles de bains trÚs vastes et confortables, la cuisine trÚs bien équipée. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la salle à manger extérieure. Le terrain est immense, ce qui garantit le calme et une trÚs trÚs belle vue sur les Pyrennées et la magnifique campagne vallonnée. Nous avons visité la région, et avons apprécié la beauté des paysages, et l'accueils des locaux. Nous reviendrons sans doute !

Great holiday home in good location

We spent a very relaxing and peaceful week at this wonderful old farmhouse. It's in a great location and has stunning views of the Pyrenees from the amazing swimming pool where we spent a lot of time due to the fantastic weather. The farmhouse itself is full of character, is very well equipped and very clean. We particularly enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evenings with a cold beer. We made trips to local markets, to Pic du Midi and also the Cirque de Gavarnie.

Peaceful, comfortable, blissful

Welcoming owners, comfortable house, stylish decoration, practical kitchen and dining arrangements, a delightful garden, fig tree full of figs, wonderful pool, fabulous views. I recommend this property to anyone. We were 6 adults and two young children. We particularly enjoyed the pizza oven and barbecue, everything was thought of. There was plentiful supply of good crockery and equipment in the kitchen, which makes catering so much easier. Graeme and Kirsty are very welcoming and gave good recommendations for things to do in the area, including trips to the nearby towns for supplies, markets, sightseeing. Also walks from the house. We had a great time and would not hesitate to return and recommend A Puntos to others.

Relaxing carefree holiday in Mont de Marrast

We rented A Puntos for 6 weeks in the summer of 2018 for us and our 2 boys (age 4 and 9). The boys loved the grounds and the pool (which were immaculate) and we spent many fun filled days lazing by the pool, sauntering up to the house for leisurely lunches on the covered veranda, then quiet evening watching the stars - I have never see so many. Graeme was fantastic, sorting out any issues (such as empty gas bottle) almost immediately and always on hand to answer any questions. There is lots to do nearby, we went to pic du midi, le petit train d'Artouste, even down to San Sebastian. There are some great restaurants nearly we particularly liked Ferme AUBERGE DE Puydarieux which is great for small kids as they have a little play area, and the Racine Restaurant near Tillac. If you are there when the Jazz Festival is on in Marciac then that's an absolute must - lots of craft fairs and pop up restaurants as well as the music. In all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Second Visit to this amazing place!

This was our second visit to this beautiful place. We are a family of six, and A Puntos has everything to offer. We enjoyed fantastic weather the full week we were there and spent every day at the beautiful pool. The gardens are well maintained and the children enjoyed running around in the meadow next to the farmhouse. Graeme was on site to help us use the pizza oven and even helped us cook a few! He advised us on possible outings in the local area to entertain the children, however we never made it to any of them as the pool was too inviting! The house and pool were absolutely spotless, and we would recommend this beautiful place to anyone. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Mont de Marrast!

Fantastic Holiday & would return in a flash!!

We loved our stay at A Puntos! The farmhouse was wonderful and clean, great appliances and fantastic gardens and swimming pool. Graeme was on hand for an questions and maintained the pool daily to its wonderful standard. We traveled with our 3 year old son and paid extra for heating the pool which was worth every penny. The wonderful location and view of the Pyrenees on a clear day is absolutely stunning! There were 2 circular routes to walk with our son and my husband enjoyed daily morning runs around the town. The Intermarche supermarket at Trie was very useful and we enjoyed our daily trips to near by markets which are clearly listed in Graeme's handbook. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will look back on our holiday with great memories and hopefully we will be able to return again one day!! Sam, Stuart & Robbie x

This is a comfortable house to stay in - 3 couples from New Zealand had a good time here. Really good to have the pool with the weather being so hot. Graeme was very helpful and provided good information about the area. No doubt everyone will be enjoying Tour de France fever very shortly!

Fabulous!

Loved our stay at A Puntos! The house is spotlessly clean, wonderfully well appointed, immaculately looked after. Graeme is on hand if any issues arise and looks after the (good sized) pool beautifully but is not intrusive in the slightest! Moreover he goes above and beyond, sourcing walk guides for us at the little Tourist centre in Trie sur Baise as he knew we are keen walkers. Standout points - the view of the Pyrenees on a clear day is absolutely stunning. The Intermarche supermarket at Trie is a really good one, neither small nor enormous, has absolutely everything you might need! We really enjoyed walking in the area and a trip to Auch is a must. We definitely plan to return! Thanks for a great stay!

Great place with a great host.

We stayed here at the beginning of May with friends. The first impressions where excellent, Graeme (one of the best hosts we ever met) even went out of his way to provide some cold drinks in the fridge! The house itself had everything we needed, from nice beds to a barbecue and pizza oven (If you’re in touch with your inner Italian, this is a must try!). With all the tips and help from Graeme we had an amazing weekend filled with great trips, we would recommend this house to everybody and would go there again in a heartbeat.

Wonderfull, quiet getaway

What a fantastic house. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, and beautifully maintained, we had a great holiday. The grounds are lovely, as are the views. There is plenty of space around the pool to relax. The kids spent most of their time in the pool, even on chilly days because it is heated. It is about a one hour drive to the Pyrenees which is well worth it. The towns in the neighbourhood are quite small but there are still plenty of good restaurants. The supermarket is about a 20 minutes drive from the house. The highway is far, far away, which means no noise except from an occasional airplane. Graeme was very friendly and helpful prior and during our visit. We would love to come back!

C’est un lieu trĂšs reposant oĂč l’on aimerait rester des semaines entiĂšres.La piscine Ă©tait magnifique mĂȘme si seulement chauffĂ©e par le soleil. Nous avons pu profitĂ© de la belle terrasse avec sa belle vue aussi. On aimerait revenir !

5 Star Winter Fun

We had such a good time in the summer that we decided to book A Puntos for some time over New Year with friends and family. The house was just as good as it was in the summer with possibly even more some stunning views of the mountains if that's possible. We really enjoyed our time there and this time had the benefit of a large log burner and a Rayburn oven to keep us warm at night. We also used the Rayburn to cook some meals. We made some skiing and snowboarding trips into the mountains for a few days and also visited the spa at Balnea which was stunning. Again, would thoroughly recommend A Puntos for a winter break but just beware it is about one and half hour’s drive to the slopes.

The most beautiful property. A heated pool too!!

This is the most beautiful property with an amazing heated pool. Perfect for midnight star gazing. The property has every facility you would need for hot or cold weather. The stunning scenery and area make it impossible not to relax! The property is maintained to a high quality and the owners were a pleasure to deal with in every way. We loved it so much we are booked for next year - can't wait!

Fantastic property in a beautiful location

We had a brilliant two weeks here in September. The farmhouse is in such a beautiful and tranquil location and the view of the Pyrenees is just the icing on the cake. Although the weather was very changeable, the heated swimming pool meant that we could still go swimming nearly every day. Our toddler loved exploring the garden and going for walks around the village. The farmhouse is very well equipped and it really did feel like a home from home. Graeme was really helpful and accommodating (before, during and after our stay) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A Puntos to friends. We'd love to return one day too - we found it very hard to tear ourselves away at the end of our stay!
