Everything was fantastic, close to both the beach and shops, cafes. Great area to be able to go site seeing e.g Table and Lion Head mountain only 20 mins away. Flat was clean and tidy and everything worked, will be recommending to any friends come over for a visit.
This is the perfect location for a great Cape Town experience. Very safe and secure - a beautiful ocean and Lionâs Head Mountain view - most impressive. Close to many restaurants and shopping. I will book again and recommend to my friends!
The apartment was very clean and in excellent condition. All amenities worked. The view was excellent. The location was very secure. Easy to get in and out. The dedicated parking spot was very convenient. It was wonderful!
This large bright comfortable apartment is located directly across from the well known Promenade in Sea Point and easy walking distance from some lovely restaurants and cozy places to while away a sunny afternoon. It gives you the benefit of oceanfront living while still being only 10 minutes from most of the places you would want to visit in the city. The apartment is exactly as advertised. It is large and bright with lots of big windows to allow sunlight in. The views are vintage Cape Town with the ocean and the Mountain visible from the living room and the patio. A private parking space is included which is a major plus in Sea Point.The host (Farrol) is always available and very helpful. He has equipped the apartment with everything you could possibly need. There are even electric plug adaptors in every room which is very thoughtful.The local property manager is also totally available and responds quickly to any questions or requests.Weekly cleaning is included so the apartment is always spotless.This apartment is ideal for families, couples or singles. It's size and location make it great value and an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful city. I highly recommend staying here and I hope to return soon myself.
Very comfortable and well-cared for flat in a great part of Sea Point, close to the beachfront and it's walking promenade, but not too close to be noisy from traffic. Close also to shops, restaurants and coffee houses of Sea Point Main Road. In the flat, everything works well, but some of the furnishings could do with a little updating. Helpful and good security at the front door.
I had a two-week stay here and it was in a perfect location. It was within walking distance of great restaurants, the boardwalk, and an easy drive to the Waterfront. The flat has great ocean and Lion's Head views, solid WiFi, and a washing machine, which I used because I was staying in South Africa for another two weeks. A subtle, but impressive, characteristic of the flat was that there were power adapters (for my US power cords) in the outlets. I had my own, but it was great having additional ones available. I come to Cape Town twice a year and I would definitely stay at this location again!
We spent around ten days in Cape Town and found the location extremely convenient. Itâs an older building and the apartment is a comfortable size for three or four guests. The explanation notes are comprehensive. While mostly basic, the main bedroom and bathroom en suite felt nicely upgraded and the unit was adequately equipped. The second bedroom and bathroom are compact but served our needs. We went through a spate of load shedding and the apartment does not have an inverter, so we made good use of the emergency lights provided. Happily, the Wi-Fi is not impacted by the load shedding. If you want luxury, this might not fit the bill, but if your primary accommodation goals are location and comfort, this place could well meet or exceed your expectations.
We had the most wonderful holiday at this fantastic property. Itâs in a great location for all the best Cape Town has to offer. The property offers spectacular views of the sea and mountain. We felt so safe and so relaxed during our visit. The security were very friendly and helpful. The property had all the comforts of home. A real gem! Thank you for a wonderful week in our Mother City. Our favourite was cycling along the Sea Point promenade and kayaking from the V&A Waterfront.
Although I was in Cape Town for work, this place is in a perfect location within Sea Point, to get to where I needed to be, but then close to places I wanted to visit. Looking forward to another visit!!!
The apartment was light, bright, secure and airy. The web site pictures do it justice. The apartment is well place for access to the 'hop on/hop off bus, the bus to central Cape Town and within easy and safe walking distance from a number of good restaurants. The promenade, opposite the apartment, was brilliant for strolling at any time of the day. The owner, Farrol, couldn't have been more helpful recommending places to visit with corresponding websites and helpful hints on transport in and around the area. He responded to our emails promptly and provided even more information over the telephone. I can thoroughly recommend this apartment.
This apartment more the lived up to our expectations. It is modern and very comfortable and is llterally yards from the Atlantic seaboard. Our reception was excellent and the owner's representative could not have been more helpful. The area has shops and restaurants in abundance. and Sea Point is only a 10 minute drive to the city centre and to the Waterfront complex. From our balcony we looked down to the sea and up to Table Mountain and Signal Hill. A car is necessary if one wants to visit the parks, the vineyards and the many attractions which are easily accessible from Cape Town. This was our 5th visit to South Africa and we are already planning to return hopefully to the same apartment in a year's time.

I am originally from Cape Town and moved to the UK many years ago. I am a practising Architect and have always enjoyed refurbishing properties. My wife is an education consultant, challenging these days!
When the opportunity arose to acquire this apartment a few years ago I did. It had not been touched for years and as an Architect, I completely refurbished it and renewed everything to a standard we would be pleased to live in all year round (air con and under floor heating ) .Over the last few years we have had fantastic family holidays using it as our base as we continue to explore Cape Town and the surrounding region. Cape Town is truly a tonic for the tired mind and body.
