We stayed in The Stables - which was charming, clean, cosy and peaceful. It definitely felt like a home from home. The pool was great and used by us all. The setting is scenic and close to lots of things to do - wonderful scenery, zoo, boat trips, lovely villages, and cafes. Aidan is a very good host and really nice and friendly. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family.
This is our second time at Northcote Farm and our first time in The Barn. This place is such a good find! The pool is lovely, the gardens are so pretty and the hosts are even lovelier. We enjoyed a day out at the nearby Woolacombe beach, but were equally happy with staying on the farm, enjoying the wildlife, walks and the peace. We look forward to returning again. Thank you.

Easter family trip
Unfortunately our stay was tarnished as the pool was not up and running as it had been stated in the description (states open April). We booked this property as specifically had a pool as the weather can be changeable.
After speaking to the owner, they thought it would be up and running in a few days but unfortunately it was not, we were told due to the weather the pool could not get up to temperature. The owner offered to give us a solution but this never materialised which is very disappointing.
The location is perfect for exploring the area, very good friendly but do not book if you are booking specifically for a use of a pool. We could have stayed at cheaper accommodation in the same area that did not state there was a pool.
spotlessly clean with lovely grounds, the undercover pool was a bonus the cottage is in a great location not far from beaches etc, we will definitely be visiting again the children enjoyed every minute
We needed some help finding the place , in the end the owner came and found us and guided us to the property, the Satnav got us lost.
The owner for personal reasons was not able to stay around but left us in the capable hands of Paul who was very helpful on the few occasions that we needed advice or help.
The property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The TV and WIFI both worked well. The property had 35 acres of land to explore consisting of wooded and grassland areas although those with mobility problems would find the terrain difficult. Although the car can be bought to the properties for loading and unloading the climb to the carpark is up steps and is quite steep. The games room and swimming pool looked good although not our thing. The friendly sheep were fun and came readily when the food bag was shook.. This was a great place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone.
This perfect little cottage was definitely home from home. Had everything we needed. Beautiful walks around the farm. Perfect location for lots of lovely days out. Beautiful part of the country. Will definitely be back. A big thank you to Paul who kindly removed a tick from our dog. đ
A great base for exploring this part of North Devon
The property had everything we could have needed for a week in North Devon. Our two boys loved the pool and games room, and we loved the glorious countryside and easy access to the coastline of North Devon.
Comfortable, well-equipped cottage, set in a lovely rural location. Location is great for exploring North Devon. Really enjoyed the games room, which would be superb for a family.
The cottage is furnished in a contemporary style. It is warm & comfortable and very well equipped with all the usual kitchen facilities. It has a dishwasher and washing machine and there is a clothes line in the garden as well as an airer indoors. It has good wifi connection which sometimes is problematic in the countryside.Linen and towels are provided
We had a great stay in Bluebell. Great place for kids to explore and loads to do within the grounds or within a 15 min drive. Cottage was spotless on arrival and Aidan was spot on and made sure we had everything we needed.
Me, my mum and my dog Maude are now on our way home from our lovely stay at Bluebell cottage at Northcote Manor Farm. Despite some rainy weather, Bluebell cottage was a perfect base for both exploring North Devon with easy reach of the coast and Exmoor National Park, and for relaxing when the weather turned. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and warm - a home from home. The outdoor pool was an added benefit as it could still be enjoyed even in poor weather. We would love to stay again in future, maybe with more family staying in the other cottages on site as it seems very family friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
What an absolute dream of a location and cosy cottage stay for our first time in north devon. The added bonuses of a heated indoor pool and a fully equipped games room made this the ideal place to hunker down when the weather turned. Aiden and Lizzie were excellent hosts and only too happy to sort out any issues that arose. Northcote manor gave us the best base to then go and explore the stunning north devon landscape. Cant wait to come back next year!
A lovely cottage, tucked away in a beautiful part of the country.
Bluebell cottage was so peaceful and ideal for dogs. The pool was a lovely bonus, with lovely walks from the property.
The owner and family were helpful and friendly, and on hand should you need anything.
We stayed in Bluebell Cottage with our 3 year old granddaughter and two dogs. The cottage was lovely; comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Aidan was really helpful and very friendly. The garden and extensive land were ideal for dog walks and jumping in muddy puddles. The play areas and trampoline were a big hit and the swimming pool was fantastic. We had a fantastic holiday, and would fully recommend this property to anyone wanting a laid back, relaxing holiday in a stunning location.
Cosy cottage perfect for families with toddlers or older children
We booked Bluebell Cottage only a few days before our stay. Linda answered a question I had straightaway and was very helpful on arrival and when we saw her the following morning. We loved the cottage. It was perfect for our family of four - two adults and children aged 4.5 and 2.5. We visited at the end of October and the cottage's electric heaters kept us plenty warm enough especially after we used the swimming pool. We did have trouble finding the cottage because our satnav didn't cope with the lack of phone reception in the area. Directions including landmarks (e.g. names of other cottages/farms) would have been helpful. Also a road nearby was closed so a warning about this would have helped. The full location of the cottage is on the ordnance survey map so if we'd not relied on satnav and looked at the map in advance we would've been fine!
There are lots of places to visit in the area including Watermouth Castle and Arlington Court which we all enjoyed. A very enjoyable four-night holiday. We'd love to return in the summer months to make much more use of the pool, the trampoline and walks nearby.
Excellent, the owner, Linda, was very warm and welcoming, we have two young children, and she was very warm and kind to them. They thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bluebell Cottage, using the games room with other children, the heated swimming pool was very much appreciated and the cottage was warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay there again...

Lovely few days away at this peaceful, well equipped property. There's something for everyone. Beautiful rural location, friendly owners and a pool.....
We found everything we needed the cottage was clean warm and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The pool was heated for us and was able to have a quick swim to start the day. There was only the two of us but would make a nice base and safe place for a family with children, would be my first choice when looking to come back for a long weekend in north Devon.
