Vingt minutes en voiture de Paphos ou Limassol, cinquante minutes en voiture des montagnes de Troodos et à seulement quinze minutes à pied de la plage. Home from home in great location

Loved staying at Chilterns for a month, as it’s in a great location - 15 min walk to the beach. Lots of places to walk nearby. The villa is super equipped with everything we needed. The beds are comfy (which is unusual in Cyprus) good WiFi to work while here.Felt like a well loved home, would definitely recommend Local support from Jim was brilliant and communication from the owner prompt and helpful

Great Apartment & Location

Spent a lovely week in apartment. Great location yards away from Ampelli restaurant and bar and close by Pissouri bay and the village. Apartment clean and well equipped and comfortable. Great communication with hosts and on site support provided nice touch by leaving some bread milk butter and eggs. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Cyprus

Fantastic holiday

We had the best holiday in Martin's villa. The property is well equipped and everything is as described. The location is perfect to explore the island and within a walking distance from a brach and number of restaurants. The contact with the property management was perfect and they were very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will come back one day. Thank you!

Lovely apartment

From start to finish excellent communication with Martin, he responded to every enquiry promptly. All was as stated in advert. We arrived from the UK at 12.30 at night and were grateful for the provisions in the fridge and cupboards. The apartment is well. Situated with just a 10 minute walk into the bay. Great for us as we were diving from there. Will definitely book again

Visites, plages, piscines, restaurants, tortues... Très bien. Concernant la maison, rien à dire, très calme pas de vis à vis bien équipée (peut être qu'un petit lave vaisselle pour 6 couverts serait bien et une plancha électrique (peu chère de l'ordre de 50/60 €) pratique et surtout sans flammes serait bien. Propriétaire et les contacts sur place sympas et efficace. Aucune mauvaise surprise. Je recommanderais sans soucis

A little disappointing to begin with but an excellent stay overall!

Due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns across Europe, we were the first guests in the property for a long time and you could tell. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness when we first arrived but after conversations with the owner (Martin) and the agent (Jimmy), we soon got the place sorted out. Jimmy was very quick to respond and from then on, our stay was great. The villa is in need of some modification but more than makes up for this with the appliances on offer which includes an Nespresso Machine. The location is fantastic offering a peaceful and relaxing environment in which to truly chill out with the family. We would definitely go back.

2 Weeks of Peace and Relaxation in Cyprus

The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay in a very pleasant part of Cyprus. The location is very quiet but restaurants and bars are only 10 minutes walk. Although there is a restaurant very close there was no noise. Overall I highly recommend this villa.

The best of Owners Direct we've experienced!

We have just come back from spending 2 wonderful weeks at 'Chilterns'. The place was as described on the website and was superbly appointed from all aspects and we cannot think of 1 negative point to write about it. The property was spacious, clean and with plenty of cutlery, crockery, furniture etc. This is our 3rd time at Pissouri and so much better than last year's 'heath hazard' of an apartment (and we are STILL waiting for our deposit to be returned!). The wifi is an added bonus if only to make sure that the family are ok back in England. Plenty of brochures to browse through to plan the next meal or or trip to another part of the island. The welcome pack was so thoughtful especially after almost 16 hours travelling - that cup of tea was so welcome! We went to too many restaurants to name all but would like to mention Demiti at the Ampeli and The 2 Friends (fab food & fab service). We also went to 2 events at the amphitheatre (Abba & Status Quo tribute acts - both recommended) but sadly will miss the Take That tribute event this Friday so will have to come back next year to see them! We did hire a car from the airport and found that so useful to get out and about. Omodos is a lovely visit ...bit of a drive (60 mins plus) but well worth it. ..as was the dam near Limassol. I could write so much more about this wonderful island and friendly people but wont as you have to try it yourself. Many many thanks, Martin for letting us stay at your property and we look forward to telling our friends about it and hopefully are return visit sooner rather than later. Chilterns

We liked Chilterns. Our only reservation was that the beds were very hard but we coped. The location was excellent for us to explore Cyprus but we really liked the area around Pissourri. There were lots of good, friendly places for us to go out and eat. There were good food shops nearby. The local residents were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The house was adequately equipped though fairly basic. If you want to wallow in luxury; spend a bit more. If you want a nice place to stay and a good base it is excellent. We explored most of Greek Cyprus and found it to be a wonderful place for a holiday, a perfect climate and some lovely scenery. Chilterns is handy for both Pathos and Larnaca Airports and is in easy walking distance from Pissourri Bay and it's amenities. We were particularly interested in the Wildlife and found the hillside behind Chilterns excellent for all sorts of exciting things including Cyprus Wheatear, Cyprus Warbler, long-eared Hedgehogs, European Tree frogs etc, etc. we would definitely recommend it and hope to go back. The owner provided a good information pack. I hope the bed softens up a bit!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay in our villa and are sorry you found the beds very hard, some people prefer a harder bed to others so it is difficult to accommodate everyone. We will however take your comments on board and maybe look into getting softer beds in the future. We agree our villa is not the most luxurious of villas however it is adequately equipped and this is certainly reflected in the price. It is ideally situated for seeing Cyprus being midway between Paphos and Limassol and it is in a quiet area making for a relaxing holiday. Home from home but warmer

My friend and I spent a blissful week at Chilterns. The property has everything you need to self cater or eat out. We had breakfast every day and sometimes lunch but ate out in the huge choice of restaurants at the beach and up in the village of Pissouri in the evening. Our favourite lunchtime spot was the Aphrodite Hills restaurant at Avdimou beach, five minutes drive away, with its pastel sofas and roof sails. A very pretty spot. The house was so comfortable and clean and the beds comfy too. It was dark by 6 so we had a meal out and came back to watch a DVD or just play cards listening to music. The Ampeli restaurant next door is inexpensive and on the doorstep and from the terrace you can watch the lights coming on in the village up on the hill. A visit to the Troodos mountains is highly recommended and the village of Kakopetria and the little monasteries. Kykkos monastery is a sight for sore eyes. If I stay in Pissouri again I would certainly return to Chilterns and would recommend it. There is enough room for 6 people and I'd love to bring my son and his family as the children would love the pool opposite and the beach.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Having spent 3 years living and working in Cyprus in the late nineties and after numerous holidays since then we decided Pissouri Jetty was a place we would like to have a holiday villa. The area is relatively unspoilt, quiet and peaceful yet has all the facilities required, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The Blue Flag beach provides year-round safe swimming in clear warm water. More adventurous sun-worshippers will discover that at both extremes of the bay, the pebbles and shingle give way to fine sandy stretches beneath the cliffs. The natural protection of the cliffs and the sheer size of the beach make it ideal for water sports such as windsurfing and kiteboarding, which are available throughout the summer season.
