I moved in 2005 to Koh Samui from Cirencester in the UK. I travelled to Thailand and other countries in this part of the world from 1990. From the places I visited Koh Samui became clearly my favourite destination.

Inspired by the opportunity for business I made the decision to move to Koh Samui and develop a new rental enterprise.

I created my own Flooring business when living in Cirencester. During this time I was also heavily involved in property development and property rental. This became a strong passion of mine, having created a large number of varying style properties in the UK. It was at this time I sought a new challenge and the idea and opportunity of moving to Koh Samui arose.

Since moving to the island I have created 15 properties, of which there are 9 luxury villas for rental, ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, with their own swimming pools, four with spectacular ocean views, and all with an individual and tropical style. This collection of stunning villas are known as Peacefulvillas.

There have been a great many challenges in developing villas in a vastly different culture and environment in which I was brought up in. The challenges at times have been stressful, demanding and exhausting! The rewards however have far outweighed the challenges and have been able to stretch my creativity and inspiration.

Living on the island and surrounded by the beautiful, tropical nature I don’t feel the need to be anywhere else. Peacefulvillas keeps me strongly motivated and busy every day, where I enjoy to meet people from all over the world who come to stay, and often return to one of our villas.

I have only returned to Europe twice in 21 years of living on the island. One was for three days in Milan and another for 24hrs in Madrid, both to watch the mighty Spurs play in the Champions League !!!!

I was very drawn to create a villa within this particular area where there is an attractive local bay an 8 min walk away called Baan Chuet, and lined with many lovely Restaurants. The Bay is not commercialised, and provides a local charm and beauty to the vicinity, where you can easily wile away your days and evenings. There are a variety of water sports available to try here.

Only minutes drive away, or a 10 minute walk, is the small fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon for shopping at the local market and interesting individual shops, doctors surgery, 24hr 7-Eleven shop, lovely coffee shops, beautiful restaurants and a Chinese Temple.

Lamai is a 5 minute drive, where you will find a beautiful expansive beach, stretching for miles, with the fresh clear ocean in which to swim. Here in Lamai there are also many varied restaurants, shops and local attractions.

Having gained a great deal of experience of the property market on Koh Samui, I enjoyed designing Palm View Villa. I created the large swimming pool as the focal point, with rooms wrapped around and looking out to the pool. I am very pleased to say I have received many positive comments from guests on this design and creation of the villa.

Two spacious Bedrooms and the Living area all have French doors which open out onto the pool. This is beautifully lit at evening time and creates a peaceful and serene ambiance. Two spacious additional Bedrooms are also included within the villa, one with a balcony which overlooks the coconut planation, and the fourth Bedroom has its own private small garden. There are many rooms and facilities at Palm View Villa which guests can enjoy.

The villa is private and designed within a walled boundary providing safety and security whilst staying here.

This is a lovely area with the coconut plantations and lush greenery, where you may see water buffalo grazing nearby. With only a 10 minute walk to Bang Chuet Bay and the local village of Baan Lamon, it provided the ideal location to create Palm View Villa.

We have 10 villas for rental in the south of the island. In 2020 we proudly completed luxury ocean 2 bedroom Villa Moonstone at Sitara Retreat (which can also be rented out as a 1 Bedroom villa) and is the latest design in the collection of Peacefulvillas.
