The villa is perfectly situated in an elevated position with wonderful views and usually a lovely breeze. The village of Gennardi has everything you need and the locals are all so very friendly.
Lovely villa with a fabulous view. 25 mins walk to the nearest town Gennadi that has everything you need including the best bakery we have ever seen! Easy access to local towns and beaches and a great pool that is the same depth throughout, perfect for the family.
We love gennadi and love villa Artemis!!
Fantastic villa on a hillside with an amazing panoramic view of the sea and mountains. Already looking forward to returning in September âïžâïž
Lovely villa and great location on the hillside with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. Susan was excellent to deal with from start to finish. A big thank you to Alan who looks after the property, he was excellent and also gave us tips on the local area. As mentioned in previous reviews the bakery in Gennadi is excellent. If you like pizza then try Capi di Pizza which is excellent. Great holiday and look forward to returning.
We ( family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children) had a wonderful stay at the villa in August.
The villa has 2 bedrooms upstairs( one with a double and one with bunkbeds)and the hosts had the sofa bed downstairs prepared for us to use also. There is a small pull accross door that can make that sofa bed area into a private bedroom if wished. The villa had evertyyhing we needed for our family sun holiday including a deep pool and sun longers. As per the listing the villa is secluded so a car is necessary, it was perfectly peaceful there. There is a wonderful bakery in Gennadi for morning pasteries and tavernas there for evening dinner and of course many many amazing beaches to discover around Rhodes. Our hosts were easily contactable and quick to reply if we had any queries.
This villa including the garden and Pool were well maintained. The sea view was great and the location made us experience a quiet holiday. Of course this is different from Rhodos town but a great place to Explorer the rest of the Island including a trip to Rhodos town and the beautifull South.
Susan is a great hist Who responded online quickly to every question we had.
We definetly want to return!

Vielen Dank fĂŒr alles, Ihre Familie Rau

Stunning views!
A lovely property with stunning views. The birdsong is just amazing. We'll be back..
We had a really good time at Villa Artemis. The house is well equipped and the AC worked very good. The location is pretty nice and quiet. From the patio and the great pool you have a wonderful view to the sea. By car you need about 5 minutes to Gennadi, the nearest village with some tavernas, bars and a supermarket. The owner Susan was very friendly and also Alan, who manages the villa locally was friendly and had some good recommendations for us. All in all we had a very relaxing and wonderful week at Villa Artemis.
Just back from an excellent holiday in Gennadi, Rhodes. Villa was superb, great location, lovely views, and pool was brilliant. Would definitely stay again and recommend for a anyone looking a great family holiday!!
My wife and I travel abroad about three times a year. The reason I mention this is to provide some context as our stay at villa Artemis was one of our most enjoyable holidays. My wife had a special birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better setting to mark it. The villa is a bit secluded about one mile from a lovely little traditional Greek village called Gennadi and the views were specatacular. The village had everything we needed in terms of supplies to stock the villa and a few bars/restaurants for lunch/evening meals. There were also a couple of travernas at the beach which again is about one mile from the villa. It was lovely to sit here at lunch time just looking at the views. As my wife wasn't driving she enjoyed the local wine and Rhodes made Rhosecco. To be honest the villa was quite secluded and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility this provided so consequently we made the most of it and spent a good deal of time there, including cooking most evening meals which were easily prepared in the kitchen. We did hire a car and covered most of the island and the main sightseeing attractions. We fell in love with Rhodes and truly had a memorable holiday. However the highlight for us was enjoying the facilities at the villa and chilling out by the pool. While my wife loved being able to sunbathe, I enjoyed my cold beer just looking at all the wonderful views and in the shade of the veranda area. In terms of equipment, again we were well catered for. As it was just the two of us we had the villa to ourselves and it felt like a spoiling. There are four villas in this immediate area, two semi-detached buildings with roughly the same layout but we were very happy we chose this one. None of the other villas were occupied while we were there, but because of the hedging and the position of each villa I can't imagine your privacy being invaded if all were occupied. Susan the owner responded to any enquires promptly. Both Alan and Judith who manage the villa locally were also really helpful and were especially kind to my wife because of her birthday. That was very much appreciated. All in all we had a wonderful holiday at Villa Artemis.
Just had a week here, and it was fabulous. The Villa is in a perfect position, a little way up nice views, the most perfect pool imaginable, and a well-designed Villa of course. The owner Susan was always very helpful both before and during the stay. Would absolutely recommend this lovely place to anyone.
We enjoyed our stay. Its a quiet spot with a good view over the sea.
Accommodation was good, with pretty much everything catered for. A car is needed to get around and there are plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes. Could do with a book so guests can write their own comments on places to go and eat.
Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss, but building work was going on in the area so whether this was the problem who knows.
Otherwise all good.
We have just come back from a wonderful stay at Villa Gennadi. It is most def worth the money,a lovely spacious villa with an amazing view from the patio and pool. The pool was lovely and refreshing for a cool down, even though it is slightly heated as this meant you could enjoy it well into the evening! The villa is best situated of all four of them as you got the sun from very early in the morning right through till it set behind the mountains at night. We enjoyed some fantastic sky's at night,Milky way with lots of shooting stars! It's worth a visit to the Waterpark at Faliraki if you have children/teenagers etc . Plenty of places to eat out,we were spoilt for choice ...from Mourella at Kiotari to local tavernas up in the hills but one of our favourites due to the lovely staff was Capi di Pizza on the main road near Kiotari. We had a wonderful stay and would def recommend it to others. The only negative was having a 14 year old the wifi connection was poor ...but this was most def not a prob for us!!
Our first visit to Rhodes and definitely not our last. The villa is beautifully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need. It's far enough away from the holiday resorts while being close enough to local amenities. At night, away from sky pollution, the stars are amazing and the Milky Way so clear. There's nothing more perfect than watching the sunrise by the warm pool while the local sheep stroll past. My favourite place in the world

We live in Whitley Bay, in the North East of England. Our first ever holiday together in the 80's took us to Rhodes and we have loved it ever since. Now we are delighted to have our own fabulous villa there and we visit for a few weeks early and late in the season. When we are in Gennadi, we love the fact that it's a real working village, where locals come to shop at the local bakery and greengrocer and eat out in the many tavernas on the main street. You always get a warm welcome in Gennadi, and we can't get enough of it. It's our special place,
We bought the villa because it is the best location for miles around. It sits up on the hill side with a fine view of the bay that is uninterrupted and has sunshine on the pool all day. It enjoys a lovely climate, even into late October, when the sea is still warm for swimming. Gennadi is a friendly, traditional Greek village and the area is not over developed, so you won't be rubbing shoulders with too many tourists. The beach is vast and largely empty, but has good facilities and at various spots such as Kiotari and Gennadi itself. The beach tavernas all serve excellent grilled food.
What's special about the villa is the size of the plot it stands on, its wide open space and uninterrupted views. I like to get up in the morning and have coffee by the pool while watching the sun rise over the bay. In the evening there is a lovely "golden hour" when the sun sets behind the hills, and at night there is a stunning view of the heavens and the milky way - I have never seen so many stars! Being half a kilometre from the main road, it is very quiet, and you will only be interrupted by the local goats wandering past. It is a lovely place for a family to relax and get away from it all, but there's plenty of facilities just a two minute drive away in the village.
