Estupendo.
The house lives up to the photographs and is well equipped/maintained. The house is traditional style with modern twists completed to a high standard. We had everything we needed from wifi , Netflix to a fully equipped kitchen. The owners are welcoming and responsive - on arrival day they kept in touch via WhatsApp so it was clear where and when to meet them in the town (after our late flight out from UK)
Situated in a busy town this accommodation is not for you if you want all the usual tourist trappings - you will be living amongst the locals! There is lots of hustle and bustle in the back street where the property is located and parking for our hire Jeep was tight in the street next to the house. However there was plenty of parking on the main road which was a few minutes walk away. With a smaller car or motorcycle you would be ok next to the house!
The only recommendation to the owner is for a parasol to enjoy the lovely outside area for longer periods of time.
Recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy an independent holiday experience in a Rhodes neighbourhood rather than a resort area.
Working as a professional photographer , I was born and raised in Rhodes. I truly enjoy to create a unique relationship with our guests. Making our place your home away from home.
The traditional ''kamariko'' house has a typical architectural form consisting of a single room with two beds and a separate space of the kitchen and bathroom. Be the first who book this summer and enjoy the brand new facilities. Our philosophy is to rebuild the house using only natural local materials in order to create a cosy - original - home feeling for our guests. We encourage to learn about the history, discover the beauties of rhodes through a local's point of view. We will be there to help!
