I didn't use the pool, it was too cold for me. It was also "winter" and they probably don't heat it. The room and entire condo building were very clean. The host was really easy to communicate with. It was great to have a balcony to sit outside the room privately. There is a sunset over the trees. The downside of this unit is the water filtration system being just yards away and the smell can waft into the unit when the door is open or when enjoying the balcony. There are a lot of tropical trees/bushes so it's like looking at a garden, which is pleasant. When I arrived there were some key items not working and the host addressed them quickly. Other than that, I enjoyed the unit, felt safe as a single woman with the secure building. The beach is right out the back of the building, which was lovely to sit on or take long walks in either direction. Also the restaurant, LAROC, was great. All the staff at Coral Beach were fantastic.

Thank-you very much for your review. The water treatment plant became unbalanced in December due to a power outage which then shorted out the sewage pumps overnight, which created the odor. We had to have the sewage pumping truck dump the pits, utilize chemicals and enzymes to build the balance back. It has taken approx. 14 days for it to return to “normal” levels. Sincerely, Martina

Very nice, clean, and exactly as described and it was perfect for us. Beach was perfect. We enjoyed walking each morning and walked to Lucaya Market Place several times.

Enjoyable stay! The condo was clean, comfortable and quiet and had all the necessary amenities. There was hot water, A/C and all the necessary appliances, and everything was in good working order. The condo was close to the beach and an on-site restaurant, and the pool and beach and restaurant were wonderful! The condo owner was very helpful and pleasant to work with, and she was very timely in all communications.

I remember the property well from when I used to visit there quite a few years ago I really liked it then, and it has actually improved, with a very nice restaurant in the pool area. The beach is one of the nicest on the island and the property and the grounds. Are extremely well kept. Enjoyed my stay greatly, and nothing but good things to say about my communications with the host, which were always answered promptly and clearly.

Location, location, location!

Our stay at Beach Front Studio in Freeport was wonderful. The studio was clean, well stocked, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool and pool bar were convenient and lovely. The beach could not be beat! Miles of white powder sand with azure blue waters for walking, swimming and relaxing. The studio is an easy walk to Lucaya Market place. We couldn't have chosen a better place!

as listed, But!!!

the unit was fully equipped and did have beach towels and chairs. The unit was very clean as well as the whole condo complex. Beach and pool steps away, and walking distance to food, and restaurants. We only had one concern which was when the wind was blowing the wrong way we could not use our deck due to the sewage smell coming from the location of the condos sewage system outside our door.

Loved the unit and area.

The studio condo was perfect for two. We ate breakfast each day on the balcony which was shaded until the afternoon. The unit had everything we needed. Nice pool, restaurant had good food, friendly staff and the beaches were beautiful! Everyone we met was very helpful. The owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. We’ll be back next year!!

The property was comfortable. I loved its ocean setting and the outdoor tropical sitting areas. It was peaceful. The people in the facility were friendly and attentive to our questions. Bonus: The cost was the best in the area for a studio space. However my only complaint were the insects in the apartment. Too many. The owner should spray more.

Would stay at this condo again but most likely another unit if availiable

The room itself was as expected it was clean and spacious enough for my wife and myself. Pots and pans need to be replaced as all were scratched up very badly. Only two pots and one skillet were actually usable. The restuarant and pool bar that were advertised were closed down and parking was an issue since their main lot was under repairs so we had to park on the street. They did have security on site that patrolled outside the condo. Unit itself is in need of some cosmetic repairs there are several cracks in the finish of the ceiling and walls and the doors should probably be replaced. The property itself was well maintained and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice pool and private access to beautiful beach. All in all a good stay and since we spent very little time indoors was adequate for our stay

Freeport Vacation

I stayed here from January 16 until March 24th 2023. I really enjoyed my stay at the Coral Beach Condos as everyone was very friendly and helpful. Having the Laroc bar and restaurant nearby was great. The food was excellent and the staff was great. The condo I had was a good place to stay. The kitchen was updated and it was very nice. However, there are few things lacking in the kitchen such as no oven mitts, the pots need to be replaced and the frying pan was useless. The bathroom was very nicely done and had a nice walk in shower. There needs to be "shower caddy" supplied as there is nowhere to leave your shampoo, etc except on the floor of the shower. I had a hard time with that as I have a bad hip and it was hard for me to reach stuff. Also the shower stall should have safety bars installed. There was ample closet space for my belongings. The living room was a comfortable space and there numerous tv channels to chose from. I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony as I sit there in the mornings to watch the birds and have my coffee. I enjoyed watching the sun set in the evenings and got some really awesome pictures. It was a great way to end the day. However, the balcony furniture set should replaced soon. The cushions on the chairs need to be washed or replaced and the chairs and table are rusting. There is a new a/c unit in the condo, but the owner should provide a fan or a screen door on the main entrance. This would help with air circulation.

Nearest Grocery Store. $20 round trip for a taxi!

The condo had the nicest furniture I have ever seen but the host or cleaning person left one roll of toilet paper. I spent $20 round-trip for a taxi to get toilet paper and dish soap. The complex has a bus that goes to the store on Thurs. for $4 but I couldn’t wait that long. There were no small market places that you could walk to nearby. There was no dish soap in the kitchen and very soap in the bathroom. The host needed to furnish a shampoo/soap holder in the shower. You had to place all your shower items on the floor of the shower. I just had hip surgery so that wasn’t pleasant. The bed was very comfortable but I would suggest new pillows. I think it might be time to replace the batteries in the remotes for the tv. I use VRBO and Airbnb for the two months of Feb. & March every year. I know what food to pick up at the grocery store on the way to a unit. I have been traveling like this for the last eight years . Several weeks before I arrived I asked the host if I could shorten the trip for one day because Silver Airline changed my flight. I asked her at the time if I could get a credit on my account for the one day. After a very long wait, she finally responded that I could. During my stay I emailed her several times about when I was getting a credit. She never responded during the eight days I was there. It has been three days since I’ve been out of the unit and I still have not received my credit. It is such a shame that the condo is so well furnished but the host doesn’t spend less than $20 for the bare necessities. The condo complex is right on the water with a fine pool, bar and restaurant. All the office employees are very friendly as were all the people staying there. I met a lot of really nice people at the bar during dinner at night. I hope my post suggests a few changes that will make your stay an enjoyable one.

Thank you for your review, Dave! I appreciate all of your suggestions. Few points I have to clarify though: 1. Our cancellation policy clearly states the cancellations and refunds rules. I have received your date change on January 23, and you arrived on the 9th, which falls into 50% refund category(14 - 30 day cancellation). I have still instructed VRBO to refund 100% for your date change. 2. owners do not handle security deposits and credit cards, VRBO does that and we receive money after you arrive. I have no control over VRBO 's processing times. 3. unit supplies: in my listing, it is very clearly listed what is and what is not supplied. You are renting furnished space, not a hotel room. The location is perfect, the condo itself is very clean and in good condition. The beach bar on location makes good food and the beach huts come in handy. Overall a great place to stay.

Lovely, quiet beachside retreat

We had a wonderful time at Coral Beach Condominiums in Freeport, Bahamas; we stayed here for four nights. The pool and beach are both of a very high quality and the condo is adequately equipped for self-catering and very clean; the wifi is reliable and fast. The people here (both local and visitors) are all very friendly and helpful. Plan to bring your own supply of basic items (toilet paper, laundry detergent, soap, etc). If you are not renting a car I would highly recommend making a meal plan and shopping list in advance and taking a taxi from the airport to shop at Solomon's (grocery store) on the way to the condo; the taxi driver will gladly wait for you while you shop for no extra charge. It is a bit of a walk (about half an hour) to Solomon's or the cluster of restaurants at the Port Lucaya marina, so you are fairly isolated here (though you can take the bus from Royal Palm & Coral), but for us that was part of the appeal. Normally there is a small poolside bar/restaurant on site but it was temporarily closed at the time we visited so we really did need to rely on ourselves and provide all our own meals. If you're looking for a nice quiet retreat where you can relax and do lots of swimming in the pool and the ocean, this is the place for you. Recommended.

Comfortable vacation spot

This was a lovely place for my wife's and my anniversary getaway. Nice clean, functional, and comfortable unit. The pool and beachfront is a great place to relax. Would be happy to come again.

All we needed

Good airconditioner, and bed. appreciated the small things like ice cube trays, good pots and pans. Glad we were on the 2nd floor because the elevators were out of order. Pool clean and nice. Excellent beach and ocean access. We were there after Easter weekend and it was very quiet. The Pool Bar/Grill closed for repairs the day before we got there and we had used it last year and missed it. Security and office personnel were very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location in Freeport

This was our first trip to Freeport and we'll be back. The studio apt was well equipped and comfortable. Martina was quick to respond when we had questions. Great location right on the ocean. The beach bar is a bonus for happy hour or if you don't want to cook! There is a grocery store not far that has everything.( Cereal is extremely expensive so you might want to bring your own!! ) Great market in walking distance with several restaurants to choose from.

Absolutely amazing! My husband and at stayed at Coral Beach in this suite on our 5 day honeymoon. The condo is nice & and well taken care of, bed was very comfortable, staff are friendly and the beach is gorgeous, private and well kept. There is also the option to swim in nice pool to use right near the beach; however we spent most of our time in the ocean! The food and drinks offered at the beach bar are delicious, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. During our stay we walked down the beach to go shopping and dine out at local restaurants. Excursions are also offered within walking distance down the beach...and anywhere else that you would like to visit on the island is just a short taxi ride away. We absolutely loved our time here. I highly recommend renting this suite for your stay at the beautiful Coral Beach. We will be going back forsure!
