We enjoyed a disconnected time away from home! The creek and the woods provided a peaceful back drop for reading, playing games, and enjoying the fire pit.
Total isolation in a tidy little cabin. We missed the driveway the first time but it was a wonderful stay! Pup enjoyed the woods and water that was right by the fire pit
Beautiful and oh so peaceful! It was so nice to unplug from the world for a few days. This was the cleanist cabin we've ever stayed in.Already looking to see when we can go back!
Our 4th stay at Little Cedar! We love it so much that we keep coming back. Our dogs love it too. Rick and Candy have made numerous improvements to the cabin over the years that keep the cabin cozy and beautiful. Looking forward to our next Maycation!
We had a pleasant stay here for a couple of days. You need to get along without wi-fi and service, we enjoyed the quiet. The only concern is the 30 some steps to get to the cabin. If you have a lot to carry and are not sure footed, just know. Due to the steps, we can't come back, however, we would otherwise, the owners are wonderful and so nice.
This was such a cozy and relaxing stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to have a simple little Thanksgiving with my husband and our two dogs. The view is gorgeous and it's so easy to get to many parks for hiking. Would definitely stay there again.
This was our second time at this cabin and we had just as wonderful a time as we did many years ago. The cabin is hidden away, you forget about the world with the sounds of the creek below. Kitchen had what we needed, cabin was clean, listing was accurate of what you'll need to bring along. Perfect spot for a relaxing, quite getaway in nature. Thank you for lending us your little slice of heaven!
The property was clean, well taken care of. We definitely enjoyed every moment of our honeymoon! The cabin was close to everything we had planned for our stay which was a plus!
We operate a small business just outside of Dushore in Sullivan County, called Rexers LLC. We drill water wells, install water systems and provide many services which are nessesary to our rural area
The first time I arrived at this property I was hired to drill the water well for previous owners, Walter and Ruth Alonzo. I was struck by the way the cabin was situated next to the creek with plenty of space for the family pets and children to play on the hillside and in and around the water. Years later after Ruth's passing Walter asked me if I might be interested in owning this property, I jumped at the chance to offer this setting for my family to relax and enjoy.
