Ce chalet de 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain est parfait pour votre escapade! Superbe cuisine, électroménagers en acier inoxydable, comptoirs en granit et offre tous vos besoins culinaires. Table de salle à manger pour 6 personnes et comptoir et tabourets de bar pour 4 personnes. Lakefront propose une petite plage privée pour les enfants, une plate-forme de quai / nage, de nombreux jouets. Lits pour 8, espace de couchage au sol pour plus. La chambre principale a un lit queen size en mousse à mémoire, un ventilateur de plafond, un téléviseur et un lecteur DVD, et une salle de bain principale avec une magnifique douche carrelée. Chambre de rechange 1 a un lit double, ventilateur de plafond, TV et lecteur DVD. Chambre de rechange 2 a deux lits mezzanine en mousse à mémoire de forme et un futon pleine grandeur, TV et lecteur DVD. Laveuse et sécheuse empilables pleine grandeur situées juste à l'extérieur de la chambre principale. Salon spacieux avec de nombreux sièges, télévision, lecteur DVD, son surround Bose et wifi. Il y a un loft pour dormir plus. Également offert: climatisation, wifi, câble et gril à gaz. Il y a des films et des jeux pour les jours de pluie. La région est parfaite pour s'éloigner de tout, mais assez proche pour faire tant de choses. La région propose la location de bateaux et chauffeurs pour le ski, le wakeboard, les tubes, etc. (très fortement recommandé par d'autres clients). Les frais de nettoyage sont de 125 $. Kayaks / SUP disponibles à la location, veuillez vous renseigner avant votre arrivée si vous êtes intéressé. Le départ est à 11 h 00, des frais seront facturés s'ils ne sont pas vérifiés à temps.

Lake Chemung

Cute home and nice location. Beach area and lake were perfect for us as little ones could easily swim in front and used our jet ski (easy drop location nearby) for fun lake activities. Overall a nice trip for us.

Amazing Get-Away

Lakefront beauty

Lovely lakefront home, completely equipped with all you need to unwind, settle in and enjoy beautiful Lake Chemung. Very convenient to Howell, Brighton and Ann Arbor. Staci was great to work with and always responded to any concerns. Neighbors are friendly and neighborhood is lovely.

Restful cottage.

I loved the open living space and big window views. Other great amenities include the big deck, shaded yard, and nice location on the lake. We had plenty of room for our family plus for extended family that came up during the day.

Two weeks went fast!

We really enjoyed having time to relax and kayak in such a pleasant place. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the sandy beach and chance to be in the water.

Nice Lake House

We stayed for three weeks and we were able to see all our children and grandchildren as we hoped. The house was located on a beautiful lake with a great view of the morning sun. The owner obviously has worked hard to fix up the rental to make it as homey as possible. We were able to relax and visit with our family.

Family gathering

House is more equipped for 4 adults and 4 children. Bunk room is too high up with no wooden ladder only a stepping stools.We enjoyed are stay with some mild inconveniences no coffee mug, only small size cups.l seemed a little strange. There were 3 coffee mugs Bunkbeds are close to ceiling, difficult for adults. We had 7 adults and accommodations were difficult. Though the house is on a lake it’s beautiful but paying extra for the kyacks seems excessive and should have been included in price. One kyack seat was broken.The house was comfortable and clean. Needs a little updating

Perfect family home

This house was perfect for our family. Large well stocked kitchen, plenty of space indoors for everyone and a lovely deck with tons of seating , too. The lake is beautiful and the dock, kayaks kept the kids busy. Patrking was nice when family visited. Shopping was close with manu options. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

A nice place for family

Pros: Well stocked kitchen, large deck, and large living room with windows overlooking the lake. Cons: Master bed caves in the middle so sleeping was quite uncomfortable and master bathroom door very difficult to maneuver. Small children and older adults can not walk on the dock as it wobbles quite a bit with each step and each wave. Still, we had a wonderful time with our family. But best if you do not need to converse with the owner.

A Very Nice View

The view is why I booked the place. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was very therapeutic. We loved the small town and the quaint grocery store across the lake. There were some things that the owner couldn’t help that bothered us, like the loud music from a neighbor, or, the other neighbor just randomly auto-starting his truck next door early in the morning. Lake homes are wonderful but because they are so close in proximity these are externalities that cannot be helped by the owners. Overall I had a great time with my family.

Communication

Having the correct expectations on how to find the property would have been beneficial. There was laundry in the washer and dryer and dishes in the dish washer. Also the bunk room was not made up. Having to make beds finish laundry and put away dishes was not ths best welcome. Then again I am one of those people who makes sure I come home to a clean house after vacation. Staci and I keep missing the point on our texts So an old fashion phone conversation would have been helpful.

Lots of potential with some fixes!

I really want to give this property 5 stars - it has so much potential! With a few fixes it could be 4 stars & a few "added touches" it could be 5 stars. So 1st, here's what we loved- the home is beautifully decorated & updated. The kitchen is amazing! It was comfortable & the interior was super clean. The back deck was spacious & a perfect place to drink morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The lake was shallow out to the edge of the dock & was a perfect place for our two toddlers to play (supervised). The lake bottom is sandy & there aren't weeds until you reach the edge of the dock. There's a grassy area for yard games or catching sun on a towel. The lake itself was quieter than I expected given its an all sports lake. The neighborhood is nice - neighbors said hello and were friendly! You're also just a few miles from anything you could need - restaurants, coffee shops, Meijer, Home Depot, and so much more! You feel away from it all yet you're right off the freeway! Now for the improvements. 1st, the mattresses. I let the homeowners know they needed to be replaced & they responded to say they disagreed & wouldn't be replacing them any time soon. In the master, it sinks down in the middle so two people fall into each other. The same is true for the guest bedroom. We had family stay with us throughout our 2-week stay & they ALL agreed these are not comfortable! 2nd, please put blinds or shades on the back windows- esp. the sides overlooking neighbors!! One house had people over & they were up late, sitting on their patio and I was sleeping on the couch. They could see right in & there wasn't any privacy. 3rd, while the indoor space was pristine upon arrival, the outdoors needed attention. There were cobwebs over all the patio furniture that we cleaned off our 1st day. One of the patio chairs was broken. There wasn't any sand on the beach so we bought some (the owners reimbursed us). 4th, the home has a washer/dryer which is wonderful. But they don't provide a small laundry basket so you have to take multiple trips to fold your clothes. And when you run the dryer, the smoke detector goes off. When we informed the owners they said they knew it did this, which would have been nice to know since we were doing laundry after putting our 2 toddlers to sleep. I truly feel this is a 5-star worthy home with a few improvements!

perfect spot to relax

My brother and I (and my daughter) had a great trip down memory lane. We used to come to this lake at my grandparents house down the street as kids about 40 years ago. My brother has alzheimer's so it was heartening to see him remember so much. This house is right on the lake. It had everything we needed. We cooked dinner for relatives a couple of nights and there was plenty of room. Sitting on the patio in the early morning and after dinner is the PERFECT definition of relaxing. The swans favored the other side of the lake but we could still see them and enjoy them. Until our last day, they did a swim by the dock. All in all couldn't ask for more.

Great property!

We had a lovely stay at this house. The owners communicated frequently to check in about our stay. We really appreciated that soap, laundry detergent, basic staples, and linens were all provided. The house is conveniently located near lots of stores. I also appreciated that the driveway was shoveled when it snowed during our stay. I would definitely stay there again.

We are conveniently located off of I96/Grand River in Howell and close to malls, shopping, restaurants, golf, beaches, metroparks, sports venues and more! The cottage is nestled in Sunrise Park neighborhood and is quiet and relaxing, right on the gorgeous water.
