Fantastic place with a few caveats.
First, we'd go back and stay in this home again. For the money, it's hard to beat the location, the view, the palapa, and a number of other fantastic amenities provided. A few positives to consider and then a few of the negatives that we encountered...Positives: View: 5 starsPalapa: 5 starsOutdoor Patio/Kitchen: 5 starsScuba/Kayak Equip: 5 starsEase of entry/safety: 5 starsSize of home/Beds/Baths: 5 starsSwimming/Snorkeling Onsite: 5 starsLocation to quality restaurants: 5 stars20-30 minutes to most everything on the island: 5 starsNegatives:One room without AC - Fixed during our stayNonfunctional Dish Washer - Fixed during our stayNonfunctional Cable - Fixed during our stayCurtain Rods by Patio Doors - Need FixingBag Chairs - Some need replacing20-30 minutes from most things on the islandThis home does require that you rent a car. Taxi cost is about 40 to the North end. Aruba is an arid island with desert-like conditions. It's south of the hurricane zone and is around 80 degrees every day, an obvious part of its appeal. The people are kind. You'll be fleeced some for your American so it pays to understand the exchange rate and carry local currency. We'd revisit this island and we would return to this home. Happy Travels!
