Cette chambre 4, 2. 5 salles de bains propriété est la maison idéale pour vos vacances d'été avec des amis et la famille. Il peut accueillir 8 adultes et 4 enfants (lits superposés inspirés par un bateau!).
Une courte promenade à la belle South Beach et un vélo rapide au centre-ville Edgartown, il vous offre une intimité totale avec toutes les possibilités de l'île a à offrir à proximité: la vie de plage, promenades dans la nature, course, vélo, shopping, restaurants, canotage, tours d'avion et bien plus.
Après tout cela, vous pourrez nager et vous détendre dans notre piscine d'eau salée chauffée de 18 x 40 cm.
Il y a aussi un grand foyer dans la cour et un gril à gaz pour BBQ. 7 vélos sont disponibles pour explorer l'île. En outre, vous pouvez profiter de notre canot sur une mare à proximité.
Profitez de la brise de l'océan depuis le pont vaste avec son invitant salle à manger extérieure. Le 2ème étage est baigné de lumière et comprend une grande salle à manger et un salon parfaits pour se divertir.

Marvelous

This marvelous property is perfect for a large family. It is meticulously maintained. The kitchen is superb and well equipped for entertaining. The beds are comfortable, linens nice, and the furniture both upscale and comfortable. Little things like an eclectic library help on those rainy days. The heated, salt water pool puts this property over the top. The owner and property manager are personable and professional. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a first class vacation.

Oasis!

From the moment we rolled into the driveway, we knew we had picked the perfect home for our week away. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing, the sunsets from the upper deck are gorgeous, and the kitchen and living space is just perfect for a comfy, cozy vacation. We enjoyed cooking many meals, but you must pick up seafood from the fish market down the road. Delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great destination and accommodations!

Wonderful space--indoors and out--for our multigenerational family trip to Martha's Vineyard. The house is well designed, maintained and equipped--just as the pictures depict. Family favorites were the pool, the fire pit and the house's location which made for great early morning runs to the beach and beyond. The owners and the manager are both responsive. Would highly recommend this experience for others.

Great location close to South Beach & hidden from the crowds!

The house was great for our family of 5. The master bedroom is secluded which is nice. We loved the roof deck for our morning coffee. The girls loved the boat bedroom bunks! The pool area is perfect. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor shower as well.

Wonderful MV vacation home

The Klas home in Katama was lovely. Pool is beautiful, short walk to the beach. House is modern and clean, lots of gathering spaces inside and out. We had a wonderful vacation.

Ultimate Family Vacation Home in Martha's Vineyard

It has only been a couple of weeks since we left Martha's vineyard and my daughter and her family are still talking about "best vacation ever" and WOW the house had everything you would ever need or want. I can't say enough about this spot. It was quiet, great pool, lovely house and we can't wait to go back. If you are thinking about vacationing at the Vineyard, this home has it all. It is #1 on my list. I cannot say enough about the home and the Vineyard. Highly recommend.

Great week on the Vineyard.

My family had a picture perfect week on the Vineyard. The house was very well kept and the location is perfectly situated for a day at the beach. I would highly recommend staying here. Susanne and the caretaker are both very welcoming and made whole booking process very easy. Thank you again The Murphy's

A wonderful week in paradise

We just had a most wonderful week in this paradise. The pool area is so inviting, we were almost too lazy to visit the near by (endless, white, beautiful) beach. We loved our morning swim after a good run in the lovely South Beach area and followed by a late breakfast on the sunny terrace/deck. Pure summer feeling! We passed afternoons at South Beach (just "around the corner") or at the picturesque Edgartown village. We visited Chappaquiddick Island, Aqquinah and Menemsha, all very scenic places. We had a Lobster Roll in Vineyard Haven, dinner in Oak Bluffs and a morning coffee in The Right Fork Diner at Katama Airpark, observing the Classic Aviators. But nothing compared to the sunset on our own roof top! On sunny mornings we enjoyed the outdoor shower, on chilly evenings we enjoyed the fireplace in the cozy living room. This is a magic place, we love the style of the house and interior and a week is to short to benefit from everything it offers. We'll for sure be back next year!

A Fabulous Visit

If you have gotten this far (the reviews) in this site's description of this Katama home, then you've already seen the photo tour. In that case, all we can add is that as beautiful as the photos make this property look, they still don't begin to do it justice. The house, the pool and the location near Martha's Vineyard's South Beach, the island's best beach, are all so fantastic that we'll be going back next year.

A wonderful House!

We had a great stay during Thanksgiving week! The house is exactly as advertised and the photos accurately show what you'll get. We walked to the beach every day, had a fire in the outdoor fire pit and in the indoor fireplace, and cooked our entire Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen! While we were staying at the house, there was a minor problem with the heat on the lower level and it was very quickly corrected by the caretaker who was very responsive and very pleasant to deal with. We had a great stay, and would definitely stay here again. It is a wonderful house!

Absolutely Perfect!

After over twenty years of visiting MV, we were thrilled with our stay at the Klas' lovely home. The home is well appointed, design is clean and serene, linens were very nice, the kitchen was extremely conducive to all cooking and entertaining endeavors and the new pool was a bonus activity. It is a very private property with quick access to South Beach and Katama Road. The rooftop deck is a unique and special addendum to enjoying the area and gorgeous sunsets and far off storms. Our family of four, with our daughters now adults, had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of beach, pool and at home time together.

Fantastic House

We have been vacationing on the Vineyard for many years and stayed in many house. This is by far the best house yet. Close to the beach, the pool is fantastic and everything in the house is top shelf. We hope to stay here for many more years.

Gorgeous House and Grounds - Best location close to South Beach

We have been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for 15 years and this house was the best yet. The house is beautiful and modern with lovely fixtures and furniture and a big kitchen. My kids (9 and 6) adored the downstairs bunk room with the pirate ship bed and the adults were very happy with the well designed and fresh bedrooms. The living space is bright and has many windows - everywhere you look you are afforded a lovely view of the ocean or the farm. The house is well located, just a short walk from South Beach and the new pool is gorgeous and warm. The outdoor spaces (large grassy yard, fire pit and decks) were all great and perfect for our 2 boys who love to play sports and be outside. We felt very comfortable in this house and found it to be luxurious and modern. So many houses on MV leave something to be desired, but this one really has it all, amazing location and views, great yard, fabulous new pool, and a really comfortable and well appointed home. Everything is immaculate and the property is clearly very well cared for. I could not imagine anything more relaxing than watching the antique planes fly overheard from the Katama airfield while lounging at the pool. We hope to be back next year!

Wonderful Martha's Vineyard House

We are a family of four with two teenage boys and were so happy to find this house. It was perfect for us. The house was bright, light, spacious and modern with all the amenities and comforts you need for a great Martha’s Vineyard vacation. The house had ample space for everyone and a lovely large outdoor deck as well as a roof deck which was perfect for watching the sunrise. This was our first time visiting Martha’s Vineyard and the location was ideal, surrounded by farmland with easy access and proximity to the beach. We are an active family and the location was also great for running, bike riding, relaxing and fishing on Katama Bay. It was an easy and safe ride into town too. Our boys loved discovering the “secret" path to the beach. I would highly recommend this property to any families looking for a great place to stay.

We are a family of 7. We have been coming to Martha's Vineyard since 2005. In our first summer on the island we fell in love with Martha's Vineyard right away. From then on we kept coming back and always rented a house that was a little closer to Katama and to South Beach than the year before. We started to look for a place of our own. In 2014 we were lucky and found the perfect house and location: 10 Katama Farm South.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The property has everything we as a family have been always looking for: walking distance to our favorite beach, complete privacy, ocean views, the sound of the waves and always a fresh breeze and a short bike ride to Edgartown. And of course the right size for such a large family like us.
The first level houses three bedrooms, a full bathroom and laundry area. One of the bedrooms boasts a built in pirate ship - a whimsical bedroom that can accommodate six children. The master bedroom is located on the main level. The main level consists of an an open floor plan with a generous living and dining area, half bath and a fully equipped kitchen with room for everyone to participate in the culinary endeavors! A large deck area, perfect for outdoor entertaining and dining, a light filled living area inside with a fireplace for cooler fall evenings. After dinner, retreat to the fire pit for a campfire and smores! Or enjoy the sunset on the 360° sun rooftop deck ..... and last but not least: enough indoor and outdoor space for the family.
