Récemment rénové chalet situé dans la station d'Oz en Oisans à 1450m d'altitude qui offre à ses clients une base fantastique pour skier dans le vaste domaine Grande Domaine et une vue fabuleuse sur les montagnes.

Chalet est situé au sein d'un développement privé facilement accessible depuis le point de chute de la voiture (100m à pied) et le parking souterrain (150m à pied) et à quelques pas des commerces, des restaurants et des supermarchés de la station.

Pratiquement skis aux pieds: situé à 20 mètres des pistes de ski menant à deux remontées mécaniques rapides qui surplombent l'Alpe d'Huez et Vaujany.

Le logement est réparti sur 3 étages (surface totale environ 150m²):

Étage inférieur: 3x chambres doubles, 1 salle de bains attenante, 1 salle de douche, 1 salle de bain avec douche et 2 lavabos)

Étage intermédiaire: salon décloisonné avec des sièges confortables pour 12 personnes autour d’un poêle à bois contemporain. Cuisine (nouvelle plaque à induction et four) et salle à manger, WC, hall d'entrée avec sèche-chaussures, portes donnant sur le balcon extérieur qui offre une vue imprenable sur la vallée.

Dernier étage: 2 chambres doubles, 1x chambre double avec balcon et salle de douche et WC et une salle de bains supplémentaire avec douche et WC

Externe: Casier à skis sécurisé, terrasse ouverte devant le chalet et balcon couvert sur le côté, et balcon ouvert à l'arrière du chalet avec vue magnifique sur la montagne

Les équipements incluent: TV, DVD, Apple TV, Wifi, lit bébé, chaise haute, micro-ondes, cafétéria, cafetière Nespresso et mousseur à lait, mijoteuse, machine à gâteaux, mixeur, batteur à main.

thank you for your comments. The position of a chalet is always a compromise between access to the slopes, privacy and car access. We believe our chalet is in a perfect private location, being next to the ski slope and less than 100metres from the car drop off point allowing easy transfer of luggage (one of the shortest of all the Clos du Pre chalets). Once you have arrived at the chalet, we find it best to park the car as all the resort facilities are within easy walking distance. We hope to welcome you back to Oz en Oisans sometime in the future.

Lovely house

The house was excellent for our skiing trip. It had every luxury we needed and is beautifully located, just steps away from the piste and lift. When we needed something, the owners/attendents were very quick to reply.

Brilliant chalet!!!

We travelled as two families to Chalet 21 in half term and loved our time there. The location was great, the layout worked really well for the 8 of us, the chalet is really well equipped, everything was just brilliant! Jane and Steve are wonderful hosts, no question too big or too small. We loved it so much we’ve rebooked it already!

Comfortabel Chalet at the slopes

The Chalet is a great place to spend your holiday with family and friends. It is comfortabele, cosy with great decorations and amenities that will make you feel at home. The bathrooms are excellent to enjoy a warm shower after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is very well equipes and the living is a good place to relax. The owners have been excellent in communcations and their local contact is a star. We really had a great time, stayed with a group of 8 adults and 4 kids.

Great chalet, in perfect location

We were a group of 3 families staying during February half term. The chalet had everything we needed and the bedrooms were above average size compared to what you get in some French chalets with plenty of storage.Plenty of bathrooms for us all too and ample living space including a lovely balcony to enjoy the spectacular views. Oz is a lovely village with everything you need for a great family ski holiday and Alpe d'Huez within easy reach. Would definitely return.

Beautiful ski in/out chalet

My friends and I had a fantastic stay in January. The chalet is in a great position next to the lift which connects to the whole Alpe d’Huez ski region. Rooms and beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice and our shower had good pressure. The living area is very cosy. Small things which can make a big difference like ski boot warmers, excellent Wifi connection, ample choice of TV channels, underfloor heating are all thought of and made this a perfect place to stay for our skiing holiday. Many thanks.

Ideal sharing property

We were 3 families staying over a busy half term. Property was well described and had 6 good sized bedrooms, enough seating for 12 at the table and was very well presented. Valou, who welcomed us and waved us off, was very good and communicated with times and recommendations The owners communicated well with us before our stay during the challenging covid uncertainties Access to the slopes was good and close. The village was an easy 4 minute walk in ordinary shoes Overall would thoroughly recommend the property If i was being super picky, as we had some poor weather, a few more hooks to dry clothes on would be useful but not essential

Chalet chaleureux

Chalet très agréable, fonctionnel, décoré avec goût, très propre à notre arrivée. La dame qui nous a accueilli est très agréable et arrangeante. Le chalet est situé au pied d’un téléski, possibilité de départ et arrivée skis aux pieds. Nous étions 3 familles avec des enfants âgés de 5 à 15 ans. À recommander vivement.

A fantastic place to spend winter family holidays

We rented this chalet for a week in February to spend some family holidays and had a wonderful time. The chalet is well-equipped, practical and comfortable while still feeling cosy. The balcony is great with some nice sun around lunch time and a breath-taking view. I would warmly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the Oz en Oisans.

Très beau chalet belles prestations

Le chalet est confortable, bien aménagé et bien situé à proximité de la piste du clos du pré. Casier à ski très appréciable et boîte à clé très pratique. Les chaussures de ski sont chauffées automatiquement par le sèche chaussure de l'entrée. Les chambres sont agréables et suffisamment spacieuses. Salon bien aménagé avec un grand canapé. Calme garanti. Un éclairage supplémentaire dans le salon serait appréciable.

Séjour agréable dans un chalet très confortable

Le chalet est bien confortable, situé à proximité des commerces et départ des téléphériques pour les pistes. Le domaine permet de skier même avec un faible enneigement. Bonnes relations avec le propriétaire qui a fait ce qu'il fallait pour nous faciliter le séjour. Aucune mauvaise surprise une fois arrivés. Chalet bien équipé et correspondant au descriptif.

Gezellige ski week in een prachtig chalet!

Het chalet ligt aan de rand van het dorp, op loopafstand van skilift, skischool en winkels. De woonkamer en keuken zijn ruim met een gezellige zithoek, een grote eettafel met voldoende stoelen en een zeer compleet ingerichte keuken. Er is een prachtig servies en bestek en goede pannen etc. De slaapkamers zijn ruim met prima bedden . Er zijn voldoende badkamers. Het hele interieur oogt als nieuw en is zeer verzorgd. Er is een goede verbinding met de skilift met het grote skigebied van Alpe de Huez. In Oz zelf is een oefenweide met een lopende band lift.

Cozy ski week in a beautiful chalet! The chalet is located on the edge of the village, within walking distance of the ski lift, ski school and shops. The living room and kitchen are spacious with a cozy sitting area, a large dining table with plenty of chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. There is beautiful crockery and cutlery and good pans etc. The bedrooms are spacious with excellent beds. There are enough bathrooms. The entire interior looks like new and is very well maintained. There is a good connection with the ski lift to the large ski area of Alpe de Huez. In Oz itself is a practice area with a conveyor belt lift. A great stay in Oz

Thank you for a thoroughly lovely week. We were a group of three families and it worked perfectly. Extremely comfortable, and very well furnished, it is clearly a much loved family home and it was a real treat to stay in a genuine home from home. And being able to ski onto the balcony meant very limited carrying of skis. A fantastic property, a real find.

Very comfy, clean and well equipped chalet

We were a party of 8 adults (meant to be 10) and this was perfect as each couple had a bathroom (either one of the 2 en-suites or the 2 stand alone bathrooms). It would be fine with 10 people but 12 might feel a bit cramped in the living/kitchen space (and only 10 boot warmer spaces 😉!). The bedrooms are all cosy with comfortable beds and nice linens. The bathrooms are all fitted to a high standard. The living, dining and kitchen areas are open plan creating a sociable feel. The wood burning stove was very efficient and the chalet in general was very warm. The kitchen is very well equipped and the extensive collection of Emma Bridgwater crockery and decent quality glassware made cooking and dining a great experience. Internal noise does carry quite heavily which needs to be considered. Access to the closest drag lift (onto the nursery slope in Oz so convenient for ski lessons and if you have children) is via quite a sleep but short tarmac path and a flight of snow laden steps. This was quite tricky especially in the morning with the ice when carrying skis and poles. It was not possible to ski straight onto or off a slope. The lifts to Vaujany or Alpe D’Huez are then close by. The steep tarmac path was the only way to get luggage and shopping into the chalet so again needs to be considered depending on the agility of your party. If you arrive at a busy time, you will have to be quick un-packing your vehicle so as not to block the road and the local free parking spaces tend to get full over the weekend. There is a covered car park with a daily and weekly charge (€50 per week). The centre of Oz is a short walk away and equipped with several ski hire shops, the ski school, bars and restaurants, a small supermarket, a deli and a bakery. The chalet owners were super helpful with assorted information before we departed and the local agent, Valou, was also very helpful and spoke good English. In summary, this is a great chalet. Our group had a lovely time and would not hesitate to re-book.

thank you for your review and pleased you enjoyed your stay in our chalet. you mentioned only 10 boot warmers in the chalet, however we do have underfloor heating in this room which means the other pairs do warm up and dry out over night. The slope above our chalet to the slope is due to be improved over the summer season for easier access. Sorry you won't able to ski back to the door this time, other guests this season have enjoyed that option. our kitchen is being extended and refurbished this summer. we hope to welcome you back another year

Second great stay

We returned for a second stay in this property as we loved it so much last year. The chalet has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty room for our group of 5 adults and 4 children, bedrooms all comfortable and enough bathrooms for one per room which is great! Ideally situated for quick access to the whole of the Oz and Alpe d'Huez ski area.

Beautiful, comfortable chalet

The chalet was amazing. Beautifully furnished with lots of lovely extra touches including games, Emma Bridgewater crockery, blue tooth speaker, provisions in the cupboard, plus lots more. The beds were very comfortable and all bedrooms had a nice view out to the mountains. Plenty of bathrooms available which were decorated to a very high standard with lovely showers and under floor heating. The living area was open plan with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and the dining table easily sat is all (there were 12 adults in our party). The kitchen was well equipped and the Emma Bridgewater crockery was a nice touch. A heated boot rack meant warm ski boots in the morning and the chalet was positioned so close to the slopes, with good snow you can ski in and out. Oz is lovely, really pretty with plenty of restaurants and places to enjoy a drink. ESF ski school was great too with friendly ski instructors. Would definitely recommend
