Beautiful, peaceful location but lots of activities to do nearby - great beaches and can recomnend the canoeing on the Teifi. The games room was a big hit with our two boys (11 & 14).
We had a lovely stay in Red Kite cottage which was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owners Neil and Kate were really friendly and provided good information about things to do in the area. The cottage is one of 4 in a beautiful location accessed down a long, narrow track which is bumpy in places, but it doesn't lead to anywhere else so that was not a problem. There are some pubs fairly close to eat out but we mostly stayed in after our days of exploring Pembrokeshire. We spent many hours watching the birds in the garden (the feeders were kept stocked up every day) and saw loads; the woodpecker and nuthatches favourites! There are chickens roaming around and a field of bullocks opposite so it truly is a rural idyll. Most of the other cottage's visitors had brought dogs with them and we feel this accommodation is especially suited to pets as there are loads of great walks around and lots of pet friendly places to visit.
The location captured us and we could see the further potential regarding our lovely little farm cottage and the holiday cottages, which were running successfully but had so much more to offer. Chris's family had a family holiday cottage a few miles away, where he spent most of the school holidays when he was a child, plus his dad is Welsh, so guess it was kind of in the blood.
Everything this area has to offer, peace yet close enough to everything else you need, whether its a shop or a walk on the beach - its all there within 30 minutes. The view, the birds, the locals, they certainly have made it perfect.
