Dave’s Birthday Beach Trip

Lollipop was so beautiful & spacious for our group of nine! With two living rooms & two kitchens, it allowed people to come together or find their own space to support their needs. The main kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, etc. The dining space was ideal for our crab boil on Saturday night too! We really loved our winter vacation there and would like to go again in the summer season!

Reviewer Comments: Excellent home to enjoy the beach as well as the inter coastal waterway. 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 laundry hookups make a perfect place for multiple families to enjoy time together as well as time apart. Dock for boating, fishing, and swimming add a second dimension to the vacation...it is not just the ocean beach for fun. Comes fully equipped with the essentials. A great rental!

Staycation

We live locally and like to spend one week a year at the beach with our family. It is important to us that we also have our boat docked behind the house as well as close access to the beach. This house is perfect for our family. We appreciate you sharing it with us! The views are priceless!! We hope to visit again next year.

The sweetest lollipop week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful week we had in this beautiful home. Comfortable, spacious, obviously well-loved. The kitchen was the best for a rental house. So well-stocked with truly good looking and useful stuff. Cozy beds both up and down. Very clean. The only disappointment we had all week was the birds ate all of the figs from the tree in the yard! We will return.

Worthwhile vacation rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, if a little dated, well situated on Lollipop Bay. The bottom floor has two rooms with two twins that need to share a single bathroom and a separate room with a king sized bed and an en suite bathroom. Upstairs are two large bedrooms with king sized beds, large closets and large en suite bathrooms. This configuration worked very well to have four teenagers downstairs with adults upstairs. The shower in the master bath is very dated and is not the greatest - but that's not really a problem in the larger scheme of things. The house is well situated on Lollipop bay with it's own dock which made it very convenient for boating activity. Overall, definitely a great property worth returning to!

Pier for tying off your boat, which adds fishing, skiing, tubing and exploring to your beach vacation. Perfect house for large families, elevator for those who can’t handle stairs. Close to Wilmington, shopping, and other local events.

Best of both worlds.... beach/boating

Cross the street for the beach, walk out the back to a boat dock on the bay with access to the intracoastal waterway. Elevator is currently broken which made it difficult for bringing in heavy luggage and groceries. Parents 86 & 88 struggled with the stairs. Needs more overhead lighting in the bedrooms.

Over Awesome

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. You can sit on any part of the large decks and relax where ever you are, lovely, lovely place. I and my family, friends and special pets will be coming back for years to come. That being said we need to get some knives and kitchen pots and pans that don't look like they came from a yard sale. Don't get me wrong the ones you have are lovely, but we love to cook and we had to make run back and forth to the kitchen down stairs to find something that would work. By the way having two kitchens, is the bomb. Everyone had their own space, special snacks, etc. It worked out perfectly. You can put 10 people in this house and there would be plenty of room, anyone say's you can't is just plain silly. Landscaping Awesome! Parking Awesome! Fenced in yard for your Dog...Over Awesome! You just cant find any better...

Great Views, But Lots of Unfriendly Pest

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lollipop is in a great location with a view next to none. However, we found the house is infested with tiny ants, living room, bathrooms and kitchen. And roaches in the basement. Not something that I would want to deal with again. The house is becoming very, very worn and needs some investment in the furnishings, kitchen and just general maintenance overall. This was our third time at lollipop for our family vacation. Sadly it will be our last unless we knew it had been seriously upgraded.

One of our best experiences in Wrightsville

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the Lollipop with it's great upper floor living space, kitchen and decks with water views. A well designed facility. We also enjoyed swimming off the pier and use of the boat dock. Will return in the future and recommend highly.
