The house, which has been sympathetically restored with exposed beams, very generous sized rooms, full of character and is truly BEAUTIFUL.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge, microwave, cooker, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, has plenty of storage & with more than ample cutlery, mugs, cups, plates, pots, etc. There is also a cellar which houses a large freezer. Outside there is a well maintained gas BBQ.
The rest of the house is equally well equipped. The bathroom is very nice & there are 2 separate toilets. The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space & even the beds are comfortable but we would suggest taking your own pillows as we found European type pillows very soft. The whole house is nice & clean. The internet speed was really very good which is a big bonus with teenage children, (actually faster than we can get in rural Cambridgeshire).
Outside the garden is nicely kept and the heated pool was fantastic.
As with much of rural France attractions require driving to but Lac du Der is on the doorstep and Reims is well worth a visit.
