It was my third time staying and it was just as wonderful as always. Nancy is so accommodating and makes you feel so welcome. This place is the coziest place Iâve ever stayed.
We enjoyed staying at this property while attending a wedding nearby in Traverse City. It was a quite, comfortable place to spend the weekend, communication from the host was great, and we LOVED having access to the kayaks to take out onto the lake. Would recommend and would stay there again if I'm in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay for the 4th of July week. The location was great with some pretty great restaurants nearby. We took our fishing boat and there was enough room to park it and so easy to get to the public boat ramps. Would stay again.
Nancy is a great host. Very nice and accomodating. Rental was very clean and had everything we needed for a confortable stay. Highly recommend. Beautiful home and location.
Totally loved this little cabin ... great location to enjoy a concert at Interlochen and then to spend the days traveling through Traverse City and up through Leelanau Peninsula... loved it so much!
The house was clean and in quiet location. Perfect for our short getaway. Communication with the owner was great and quick to answer any questions during booking.
Host very quickly and efficiently responded to question I had about how to use wood stove. Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Loved being able to bring my dog with me and I would stay here again!
Very clean and the location was amazing. Enjoyed kayaking with my husband for the first time on Duck Lake. Perfect summer weekend and very private even with neighbors around. Felt secluded and quiet.
Very nice, very comfortable cottage. Owner is attentive, proactive with check in, clear instructions for check in / check out. Quiet wooded area, very relaxing
I would stay again!Pros: great communication with owner, clean accommodations, relatively easy to find, quiet neighborhood, adequate amenities, furnace quickly took the chill off the home, TVs in living and sleeping areas. Iâd call the home ârusticâ in nature with a âcountryâ feel.Cons: roads are not well maintained with lots of potholes so take it slow and easy. Short drive on dirt road off paved road to house. Living room furniture is a bit dated but comfortable.Just FYI INFO - I did not use the outdoor furniture (but it looked to be plentiful), the fire pit, indoor wood stove, or freestanding air conditioner.
