Holiday Home Old Willow Panoramic Views near Obernburg

The holiday home "Old Willow" is situated on a hillside 40 meters above the valley floor in a small house near Obernburg, bordered at the top and bottom of two blind alleys.

The ground floor (70 sq m) comprises a shower room, a bedroom, and an open-plan living/kitchen/conservatory area of ​​50 sq m.

From our conservatory, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the green valley and the 1000 sq m garden, dominated by the Old Willow tree.

The conservatory features two large, comfortable loungers (120x190 cm) perfect for relaxing or even sleeping. Comfort has been enhanced with mattress toppers. The white leather sofa (100x180 cm) is also suitable for sleeping with a mattress topper.

Since 2026, the bedroom has featured a large king-size box spring bed, chests of drawers, and an Art Nouveau wardrobe.


Due to the sloping terrain, the basement is only 50 square meters, including a 20-square-meter private room that cannot be used and isn't used. The basement includes a bedroom, a second bathroom, and a utility room with a washing machine, dryer, and kitchenette.

The basement is functional (renovation not yet complete) and not as luxurious as the ground floor.

The air-to-air heat pump provides pleasant cooling even in 40-degree heat and keeps the rooms comfortably warm on cold days.

Families with older children who have a reasonable awareness of risks are welcome. This usually correlates with school age. There are too many potential hazards for toddlers in the house (tilt windows) and garden.

The holiday home is not suitable for pets, as the ground floor is partially furnished to a high standard.

The large, natural garden with its 20-meter-high willow is only partially landscaped. Nevertheless, you will find enchanting corners and plenty of places to relax or celebrate.

Another conservatory downstairs is planned as a party room, but its renovation is not yet complete (as of September 21, 2026).

Hofstetten is a small village nestled in unspoiled natural surroundings. From here, or in the immediate vicinity, hiking and cycling tours are highly recommended. Nearby, you can explore Obernburg am Main, Miltenberg, and Aschaffenburg.

Obernburg: The preserved towers, such as the Upper Gate, the Täschenturm (Pocket Tower), the Round Tower, the Witches' Tower, the Lower Gate, the Gumpenturm (Grape Tower), and the Alms Tower, are well worth seeing.
